Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Surabaya City Satpol PP persuasive communication in curbing Persons with Social Welfare Problems. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, namely research that aims to describe or describe the numbers that have been processed according to certain standards. This descriptive research method was conducted to determine the existence of independent variables, either only in one or more variables (independent variables or independent variables) without making comparisons of the variables themselves and looking for relationships with other variables. The result of this research is the effectiveness of Persuasive Communication of Satpol PP of Surabaya City in controlling PMKS when it reaches 70%, and the results of calculations that have been done are known to reach 84%. So it can be concluded that the persuasive communication of the Surabaya City Satpol PP in curbing Persons with Social Welfare Problems is effective. The conclusion is that the high number of PMKS due to urbanization is not being matched by adequate employment opportunities. The increase in this number also shows that the persuasive communication carried out by the Satpol PP to the community has been successful because of the creation of peace and public order in the surrounding environment. In accordance with the results of the study stated that the level of effectiveness of the Surabaya City Satpol PP persuasive communication in curbing Persons with Social Welfare Problems is effective. It can be seen from the percentage results obtained reaching 84%.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSIBeberapa waktu ini, Indonesia sedang mengalami ancaman disintegrasi bangsa di Papua yang diawali insiden di asrama mahasiswa Papua di Surabaya, dan bentrok mahasiswa Papua dengan warga di Malang, merembet menjadi kerusuhan yang terjadi di kota-kota besar Papua. Sudah barang tentu gejolak nasional semacam ini akan menimbulkan berbagai tanggapan dari banyak pihak, khususnya pemerintah. Penelitian ini menganalisis pernyataan-pernyataan pejabat negara di Indonesia yang berkaitan dengan krisis di Papua yang diberitakan media online. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis van Dijk yang membagi analisis wacana menjadi 3 dimensi, yang pertama dimensi teks, kedua dimensi kognisi sosial dan yang ketiga dimensi konteks/praktik sosial, hasilnya media online Indonesia hanya memiliki perbedaan di level skematik yaitu penekanan poin penting dalam isi berita.Kata kunci : Krisis Papua, Media Online, Pejabat NegaraABSTRACTRecently, Indonesia has undergone disintegration threat on Papua that has been started from incident that happened Papua college student dorm in Surabaya, and collision between Papua college student and local citizen in Malang, spread into chaos that happened in several Papua cities. This study analyse the statements by official in Indonesia related to Papua crisis that has been reported by online media. Abstract

The government Surabaya city is one that uses Instagram as a forum for delivering information to the people of Surabaya, especially during crisis conditions like now, this research on this analysis aims to analyze the Instagram content of the Surabaya city government, namely @sapawargasby which is managed by the Surabaya Department of Communication and Information during the period. the beginning of the covid 19 pandemic to the mid-pandemic period. This @sapawargasby Instagram analysis research uses qualitative research methods, namely, using a case study method with discourse analysis techniques. Data collection was done secondary by means of screenshots / screenshots of Instagram account posts @sapawargasby for later analysis and drawing conclusions related to problem formulations. The results showed that the Surabaya city government was very active and creative in presenting information on Instagram, almost every day the @sapawargasby account posted everything about the policies or activities of the Surabaya city government, and in the early days of the pandemic, it was seen that the Surabaya city government was very responsive in making prevention and application of health protokols to inhibit the Covid-19 virus, not only that on Instagram, it also displays other policies that are very beneficial to the people of Surabaya, such as giving free seeds and deductions for building permits, even though in the middle of the pandemic there were several posts related to the covid virus 19 began to decrease, but the attention of the Surabaya city government is still clearly visible, the activeness and transparency of the Surabaya city government in utilizing social media technology, both imitated by governments in other regions.

Abstract

Koperasi INTAKO (Industri Tas dan Koper) merupakan industri kecil yang juga rumah bagi para perajin kulit di Tanggulangin. Sejak terjadinya lumpur Lapindo tahun 2006, industri ini sempat gulung tikar. Banyak perajin yang beralih menjadi buruh pabrik. Kondisi INTAKO mengalami krisis, dikarenakan berkurangnya jumlah perajin dan sedikitnya pembeli. Tak hanya itu, rintangan juga datang dari semakin ketatnya persaingan pasar, terutama pada industri tas. Rintangan dari gelombang barang impor yang murah menjadi pesaing utama bagi perajin di kawasan selatan Sidoarjo ini. Awal tahun 2017, INTAKO mulai berkembang kembali. Para pengurus membuat program yang menarik jumlah pembeli dan membenahi internal. Guna mendukung usaha ini, Universitas Bhayangkara melakukan KKN Tematik di INTAKO. Program yang dilakukan adalah melakukan rebranding berupa mendekor ulang showroom tas, penambahan komponen pendukung untuk display produk serta memberdayakan digital marketing melalui pembuatan akun Instagram beserta konten foto produk. Program ini bertujuan agar meningkatkat branding INTAKO dengan menghasilkan showroom disertai spot foto yang iconic dan meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman kepada pengurus serta karyawan INTAKO tentang pentingnya penggunaan sosial media sebagai platform untuk promosi dan meningkatkan penjualan produk. Ada 3 tahap yang dilakukan, yaitu mendekorasi penempatan produk unggulan dari perajin, mengoptimalkan digital marketing melalui pengambilan foto produk, dan pembuatan akun Instagram. Hasil yang didapat, saat ini INTAKO sudah memiliki showroom khusus produk baru dan produk unggulan dan memiliki database digital mengenai foto-foto produk. Media promosi digital ini akan menambah peningkatan jumlah penjualan produk tas kulit dan membuat masyarakat lebih mengenal industri tas dan koper di Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo ini.

Abstract

Abstract : Music is used as a medium to convey social, political aspirations, and even becomes one of propaganda media (information / opinions) to launch an ideological movement (ideas / ideas). Song lyrics are one of the verbal communication media that have meaning in them. Research on the video clips and song lyrics of the band while she sleeps "Anti Social" is a study that aims to describe the picture of society in the modern era in the song's lyrics and to explain the meaning of social criticism illustrated. The paradigm used in this study is a critical paradigm. This research method is a qualitative method in which the data are interpreted (views) through the analysis of meaning in the form of written and oral words that are observed. The analysis used in this study is a semiotic analysis by Roland Barthes. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dimana data diinterpretasikan (pandangan) melalui analisis pemaknaan berupa kata tertulis maupun lisan yang diamati. Analisis yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis semiotika oleh Roland Barthes. Berdasarkan penelitian terhadap video klip Anti Social, terdapat kesimpulan bahwa masyarakat di era modern sudah mulai hilang rasa peduli pada sesama terbukti di gambar kan dan video klip pada saat ada orang yang sedang kesusahan mereka hanya merekam tidak ingin untuk menolong sama sekali. Kata kunci: Analisis Semiotika, Roland Barthes, Kritik Sosial, Video Klip While She Sleeps

Abstract

Dissemination of information related to the issues of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Instagram account @humasprovjatim is interesting to study because of understanding the meaning and motives behind educational messages conveyed through the Instagram account @humasprovjatim. It can form awareness regarding health protocols during the pandemic and post-COVID-19 pandemic to realize changes in attitudes, behavior, and healthy lifestyles that reduce the spread of COVID-19. This study aims to analyze educational messages aware of health protocols on the Instagram account of Public Relations (PR) of East Java Province (@humasprovjatim). This study used content analysis methods with Pentad’s Dramatic Analysis. The object studied was educational messages from the PR Instagram feed in March-December 2020. Result of this research is the dramatic rhetoric in the content of the Instagram feed by the PR of the province of East Java. The Instagram media is a rhetorical stage in conveying the message of community life in dealing with COVID-19. Conclusion of this research is that there is an important role for packaging content on their Instagram. The results of this study explain that the PR Instagram account is a stage where a "show" occurs which is considered capable of bridging the government to build educational messages regarding the health protocols presented in such a way to the public.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The video showing the anger of President Joko Widodo during a plenary session at the State Palace invited various comments from several parties. This incident also did not escape the media coverage. This study analyzes the news about President Joko Widodo's anger. The identification of the news was taken from three online media, namely Kompas.com, JawaPos.com and Tempo.co, using four dimensions of Robert Entman's model framing analysis, namely: Define the problem, Diagnose cause, Make moral judgment and Treatment recommendation. The approach in this research is qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the three online media above have their respective points of view in reporting President Joko Widodo's anger during the plenary session. Abstract

Brand Awareness does not appear on its own. Brand Awareness can be obtained by business owners with the creative content efforts it makes, with the development of advanced technology business owners are encouraged to develop and keep up with the rapid flow of technology. The potential of Instagram can be used as a medium to conduct Brand Awareness. This research aims to describe the implementation of creative content @maharagung.organizer in building Brand Awareness. It focuses on the use of social media instagram. In this study the authors used qualitative – descriptive methods. The author uses data in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. Mahar Agung Organizer is popular on Instagram because the Wedding organizer is located in Surabaya and his work is well known among young people who will carry out weddings and all affairs that require help from wedding organizers..

Abstract

Copywriting is an important part of marketing through digital marketing. So, gacoan noodles also apply creative content in their marketing through copywriting. In creating creative content on his Instagram account, creativity is needed. This study aims to examine how to optimize digital marketing of mie gacoan through creative copywriting content on the @mie.gacoan account. This study used qualitative descriptive research methods and interview techniques with the Maintenance & Repair Manager who is also the Operational Incharge Handle at the Wiyung Surabaya branch of mie gacoan, as well as making observations on the @mie.gacoan account related to optimizing the digital marketing of mie gacoan through creative copywriting content on the @mie.gacoan account. The results show that the optimization of digital marketing of creative copywriting content to increase consumer buying interest has run optimally, because consumers feel more aware about the products and brands of gacoan noodles. And when the copywriting content related to the change of menu name and the issuance of a statement that gacoan noodles have obtained halal certification from MUI, making sales turnover and customers of gacoan noodles increase. Abstract

In fact, the ability of the government to socialize illegal frequency users is still lacking. Therefore, the Surabaya Class I Monitoring Center was presented to carry out and apply the Grunig & Hunt communication model in reducing these problems. The presence of the Surabaya Class I Monitoring Center should be able to have an effect on reducing the use of unlicensed (Illegal) frequencies. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the Grunig & Hunt communication model in reducing illegal radio frequencies. The research method used is using qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Grunig & Hunt communication model has been partially achieved. However, there are a number of things that must be considered because they are not optimal in implementing them. Among other things, (1) The targeting of illegal frequency users and the public has been right on target, but many have not been reached by the community itself. (2) socialization so far has been running quite effectively. (3) the achievement of objectives has not been achieved as it should be because there are still several reports of illegal frequency use received by the Surabaya Class I Monitoring Center.
