Abstract

Jombang merupakan sebuah kabupaten di Jawa Timur yang terletak di antara jalur utama yang menghubungkan Surabaya dengan Madiun. Jombang memiliki daerah wisata alami maupun wisata religi. Diantaranya wisata edukasi sejarah, spot selfie kekinian, hingga tempat wisata di Jombang yang tersembunyi dan belum banyak dikenal orang. Ada banyak destinasi wisata di Jombang yang menyajikan pemandangan alam yang luar biasa. mulai dari air terjun, gua, waduk, hingga wisata pegunungan tersedia di Jombang. Selain itu, Jombang dikenal sebagai “Kota Santri” Jombang memiliki cukup banyak pesantrenseperti Pesantren Darul Ulum, Pesantren Tebuireng, Pesantren Tambak Beras, Denanyar dan masih banyak lainnya. Jombang memiliki makanan khas seperti nasi kikil, kolak ketan durian, dan makanan alami yang berciri khas dan bercita rasa lokal Jombang, Potensi kuliner dan wisata ini perlu dikembangkan lebih luas dan menggunakan aplikasi “Jombang Halal Tourism” yang berisikan informasi mengenai fasilitas, harga dan info mengenai wisata yang syariah. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan nilai Pariwisata Jombang

Abstract

Postpartum treatments have been used by local women in Indonesia for some time now. One commonly used postpartum treatment is the consumption of a traditional herbal medicine called PHM-1 during the first 40 days after childbirth. In addition, a second medicine known as PHM-2 is taken for days 41-80. However, sufficient scientific evidence about the benefits of this postpartum herbal medicine does not exist. In this study, the antibacterial abilities of PHM-1 and PHM-2 therefore was evaluated and showed positive potential for both. Low IC50 values were obtained against pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Rhodopseudomonas palustris, Ralstonia pickettii, and Staphylococcus epidermidis and compared with chloramphenicol as a positive control. The antibacterial activity of both PHM-1 and PHM-2 against R. pickettii had the highest inhibitory activity as evidenced by the lowest IC50 values of 11.16 and 6.26 μg/ml, respectively. Furthermore, an in vivo acute toxicity test showed that PHM-1 produced a low LD50 value of 3.28 g/kg BW for both of male and female mice. These results support the use of both PHM-1 and PHM-2 as antibacterial treatments for postpartum women.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi senyawa daun Moringa oleifera sebagai obat herbal di Indonesia. Daun M. oleifera digunakan untuk mengurangi kadar gula darah, antiinflamasi, antioksidan dan antimikroba. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan penggunaan daun M. oleifera sebagai obat tradisional dan diidentifikasi terdapat senyawa fitokimia pada ekstrak daun M. oleifera. Pada ekstrak metanol terdapat minyak atsiri yang merupakan senyawa utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi minyak atsiri dari ekstrak daun M. oleifera. Digunakan metode kuantitatif dan eksperimental untuk mengidentifikasi minyak esensial dalam daun M. oleifera. Analisis Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) dari minyak atsiri dari daun M. oleifera menunjukkan terdapat total 15 senyawa. Senyawa utama adalah asam heksadekanoat (metil ester) (No 3., 11.99%), 9,12,15-Octadecatrienoic asam (No 5. 17,36%), fitol (No 6, 5,42%), 7,10,13- asam Hexadecatrienoic (no 8, 3,15%) dan oktadekanoat asam stearat (no 9, 2,42%). Kata kunci: daun oleifera Moringa, minyak atsiri, Kromatografi Gas Spektrometri Massa, asam heksadekanoat ABSTRACT Investigations were carried out to evaluate the compounds of Moringa oleifera leaves as herbal medicines In Indonesia. M. oleifera leaves are used to reduce blood sugar level, antiinflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial. It established the medicinal uses of M. oleifera leaves and identified phytochemicals present in M. oleifera leaves extracts. The Methanol exstract present of Essential oil is the major led compounds. This study aimed to identified chemical compounds of Essential oil from M. oleifera methanol exstract. It used quantitative and experimental methods that established the uses and identified essential oil in M. oleifera leaves. Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis of the total neutral essential oil from M. oleifera leaves showed a total of 15 compounds. The major compounds were Hexadecanoic acid (methyl ester) (no 3., 11.99%), 9,12,15-Octadecatrienoic acid (no 5. 17.36%), phytol (no 6, 5.42%), 7,10,13-Hexadecatrienoic acid (no 8, 3.15%) and Octadecanoic acid Stearic (no 9, 2.42%). Abstract

Moringa oleifera have been evaluated for its antioxidant activity. M. oleifera leaves were extracted with methanol, ethyl acetate, dichloromethane and n-hexane. The antioxidant activity of extracts were evaluated by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging activity assay and an improved 2,2’-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenzothiazoline sulphonate] (ABTS) radical cation decolorization assay in vitro. Trolox was used as standard with IC50 5.89 μg/mL in DPPH assay and 3.06 μg/mL in ABTS assay. The methanol extract showed the highest free radical scavenging activity with IC50 value of 49.30 μg/mL in DPPH assay and 11.73 μg/mL in ABTS assay. This study provided that M. oleifera leaves possess antioxidant.

Abstract

The data from the Mamba'ul Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School website page is that it houses 16 dormitories with male and female classifications. Some of the important factors include sowan, mineral water delivery, and garbage collection with several different access points. Therefore, of course, it is necessary to consider the shortest route, so that it can save time and minimize the distance to get to the dormitories. Graph theory, which is a branch of mathematics that can be implemented to find the shortest route. Researchers conducted research to determine the shortest route using the nearest neighbor method. The result of the shortest total distance from the implementation of the nearest neighbor method, the shortest route between the Mamba'ul Ma'arif Foundation dormitories Denanyar Jombang, is 1,920 meters. The aim of the results of this study can be used as a reference for the parties concerned to get the shortest route at the Mamba'ul Ma'arif Foundation, Denanyar Jombang.

Abstract

Dalam budidaya ikan, mencapai pertumbuhan ikan yang optimal memerlukan komposisi pakan yang seimbang antara protein, vitamin, dan nutrisi penting lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan formulasi pakan ikan yang diperkaya dengan probiotik untuk berbagai jenis ikan. Bahan-bahan umum seperti tepung ikan, tepung polar, tepung kedelai, tepung gandum, minyak ikan, campuran vitamin, dan probiotik digunakan dalam formulasi pakan ikan. Namun, proses yang ada belum tersandardisasi, sehingga menyebabkan ketidakpastian dalam menentukan proporsi bahan yang tepat. Metode yang digunakan untuk merumuskan pakan ikan adalah metode Pearsons Square.  Inovasi ini memperkenalkan komposisi yang terdefinisi dengan baik untuk pakan ikan yang diperkaya dengan probiotik yang dirancang khusus untuk ikan larva, ikan herbivora, dan ikan karnivora. Pakan ikan larva terdiri dari 25-30% tepung ikan, 25-30% tepung kedelai, 40-50% tepung gandum, 1-2% minyak ikan, 0-1% campuran vitamin, dan 0-1% probiotik. Pakan ikan herbivora mencakup 20-25% tepung ikan, 25-30% tepung polar, 20-25% tepung kedelai, 25-30% tepung gandum, 1-2% minyak ikan, 0-1% campuran vitamin, dan 0-1% probiotik. Pakan ikan karnivora melibatkan 20-25% tepung ikan, 25-30% tepung polar, 20-25% tepung kedelai, 20-30% tepung gandum, 1-2% minyak ikan, 0-1% campuran vitamin, dan 0-1% probiotik. Penggunaan pakan ikan berprobiotik dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pakan bagi para peternak ikan.   In fish farming, achieving optimal fish growth necessitates a well-balanced composition of protein, vitamins, and other essential nutrients in the feed. This study aims to establish probiotic-enriched fish feed formulations for various fish types. Common ingredients such as fish meal, polar flour, soybean flour, wheat flour, fish oil, vitamin mix, and probiotics are utilized in fish feed formulation. Nonetheless, the existing process lacks standardization, leading to uncertainties in determining precise ingredient proportions. This innovation introduces well-defined compositions for probiotic-infused fish feeds designed for larval, herbivorous, and carnivorous fish. The larval fish feed comprises 25-30% fish meal, 25-30% soybean flour, 40-50% wheat flour, 1-2% fish oil, 0-1% vitamin mix, and 0-1% probiotics. The herbivorous fish feed includes 20-25% fish meal, 25-30% polar flour, 20-25% soybean flour, 25-30% wheat flour, 1-2% fish oil, 0-1% vitamin mix, and 0-1% probiotics. The carnivorous fish feed entails 20-25% fish meal, 25-30% polar flour, 20-25% soybean flour, 20-30% wheat flour, 1-2% fish oil, 0-1% vitamin mix, and 0-1% probiotics.

Abstract

Kombinasi herbal pascapersalinan atau yang biasa dikenal sebagai jamu bersalin merupakan salah satu jamu yang dipercaya sebagai perawatan Ibu pascapersalinan di Madura. Jamu ini terdiri dari beberapa kombinasi tanaman herbal yang memiliki bioaktivitas dan efek farmakologis yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi aktivitas antioksidan empat kombinasi herbal pascapersalinan dengan metode DPPH. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keempat kombinasi herbal memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang baik. Kombinasi B menunjukkan aktivitas penghambatan paling tinggi mencapai 95,93%±0,005 dengan asam galat sebagai standard. Dengan demikian, kombinasi herbal tersebut direkomendasikan sebagai terapi Ibu pascapersalinan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Nile Tilapia feed formulation using feather meal as one of the primary ingredients, based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). Laboratory tests were conducted to measure the chemical composition of the feed, including ash content, moisture content, fat content, protein content, crude fiber, as well as contaminants such as heavy metals, antibiotic residues, and Salmonella. The results showed that the feed had a protein content of 32.31% and a fat content of 9.13%, both exceeding the minimum standards set by SNI. The ash, moisture, and crude fiber contents were also within safe limits. Additionally, the feed was free from Salmonella and antibiotic residues. However, heavy metals like cadmium (1.5 mg/kg) and mercury (1.69 mg/kg) exceeded the maximum limits recommended by SNI. Overall, the feed has good potential for use in Nile Tilapia farming but requires further control over heavy metal content.

Abstract

Noni fruit (Morinda citrifolia), also known as noni, is widely used in Indonesia for its antioxidant and antibacterial benefits. This study evaluated the antioxidant and antibacterial activities of ethanol-extracted Noni fruit. Antioxidant activity was assessed using the DPPH method, showing an IC50 value of 28.82 μg/mL. Antibacterial activity was tested using the Resazurin Microtiter Assay (REMA), revealing MIC values against Bacillus subtilis (2.5 mg/mL), Staphylococcus aureus (10 mg/mL), Salmonella typhi (10 mg/mL), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (>10 mg/mL), and Propionibacterium acnes (0.63 mg/mL). The results indicate that Noni fruit extract has potential as a natural source of antioxidants and antibacterials.
