Abstract

One of the curriculum development processes in Islamic boarding schools is directed at the formation of students who have superior and independent characters as indicators, among others, are obedient to worship, have noble character, have integrity, are able to work well together, do not depend on others and so on. One way to make it happen is to implement a competency-based curriculum, namely a curriculum that emphasizes the emergence of "ability" namely the ability to live life through the application and development of knowledge, skills and attitudes. So that the pesantren is able to produce students who are not only experts in the field of religion but also have other skills while still having superior character and being able to be independent. If thousands of students who have been scattered throughout the Indonesian archipelago have been educated to be independent, an independent society will be realized and thus will greatly support the establishment of an independent nation.

Abstract

Online learning, which was one of the government's policies in addressing the past Covid-19 pandemic, turned out to have created many problems. This problem is experienced by parents and teachers, especially in applying appropriate parenting so that learning remains effective when learning conditions cannot be carried out normally due to the pandemic situation. This study aims to explore the model, the problems encountered, along with the solutions carried out, especially in terms of parenting that must be adjusted. The approach used in this research is qualitative by designing case studies. The research results show that; 1) the parenting models used include: democracy (majority), permissive and authoritarian. 2) Some of the forms of parenting problems faced by teachers and parents include: there are teachers who are still weak in using digital literacy, including those who are still weak in using various learning models and strategies; character and knowledge of parents related to limited educational materials; busy parents. 3) Various steps have been taken by the school in overcoming these problems, both problems from teachers and parents so that learning that is carried out boldly can remain effective and enjoyable.

Abstract

Education is not only delivered through traditional patterns, but also requires the use of technology. The development of technology requires the world of education to keep up with developments, especially regarding the use of learning media so that it is not boring. One of the interesting learning media is Quizizz because it is a semi-game and is considered capable of increasing students' learning motivation. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of Quizizz media in increasing student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMAS Diponegoro Tumpang and the various factors that influence it. The approach used is qualitative with a case study design whose results include; 1. The steps for using Quizizz are that teachers must have an account first, while students can directly enter the browser and enter the code, 2. Supporting factors for implementing Quizizz are that it looks attractive, there is a competition system, it can be used for team work. The inhibiting factors are that students are often hampered by cellphones, not many teachers know and apply Quizizz in learning. 3. Efforts to overcome obstacles to the implementation of Quizizz are by using the facilities provided by the school, Quizizz itself has upgraded to be better and held training for teachers. The positive implications of this research are as a contribution to thinking in the context of fostering and improving the quality of teaching, both for teachers and educational institutions.

Abstract

Pola asuh adalah cara orang tua bertindak sebagai suatu aktivitas kompleks yang melibatkan banyak perilaku spesifik secara individu atau bersama-sama sebagai serangkaian usaha aktif untuk mengarahkan anaknya. Serangkaian kegiatan meliputi cara penerapan aturan, mengajarkan nilai / norma, memberikan perhatian dan kasih sayang serta menunjukkan sikap dan perilaku baik.Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada penguatan model pola asuh melalui kegiatan pendampingan guru dan orang tua di TK, PAUD dan SD desa Ngabab Kecamatan Pujon Kabupaten Malang. Fokus dan tujuan kegiatan mencakup ; (1) model pola asuh yang baik dan benar, (2) model pembelajaran yang efektif bagi guru, (3) Pembiasaan hidup sehat dan ramah lingkungan, (4) faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya. Program yang sudah dilakukan dalam kegiatan pendampingan antara lain : 1).Seminar parenting model pola asuh orang tua dan guru; 2). Penyuluhan dan dialog tentang model pembelajaran aktif, interaktif dan menyenangkan; dan 3).Penyuluhan dan dialog tentang pemanfaatan lingkungan. Adapun hasil dari program pengabdian diantaranya yaitu: 1). Meningkatnya pemahaman orang tua dan guru tentang model pola asuh yang baik dan benar; 2). Meningkatnya pemahaman orang tua tentang fase-fase pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, dan 3). Meningkatnya pemahaman orang tua akan pentingnya lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar yang efektif

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the concept of Islamic education, the characteristics of Generation Z, the digital era and its influence on Islamic education, and the transformation of Islamic educational values in Generation Z. This paper uses a qualitative approach. Data were collected through library research. The findings indicate that the Islamic identity of Generation Z is increasingly shaped by digital technology. The transformation of Islamic educational values in this generation influenced by technological development, which alters educational patterns, learning strategies, and the role of social media in transmitting values. Challenges arise in this process, including the dominance of social media, identity crises, lack of role models, and religious education that is less adaptive to modern contexts. Despite these challenges, digitalization also offers valuable opportunities. Technology can support da’wah, the formation of virtual Islamic communities, and the production of creative content that reflects the lifestyle of Generation Z. These methods are effective in instilling Islamic values within the rapid flow of digital information. Moreover, this situation provides an opportunity to strengthen spirituality through technology, which aligns with the goals of Islamic education: to form individuals who are faithful, pious, and noble in character. The core values of Islamic education, moral, intellectual, remain vital in shaping holistic individuals who can contribute positively to society. Adaptations such as digital learning materials, online and hybrid models, and social media as educational platforms demonstrate the urgency of digital transformation to ensure Islamic education remains relevant to the future needs of Generation Z.

Abstract

Pesantren-based community empowerment is an important strategy in facing the challenges of structural poverty and unemployment in the local environment. This study aims to identify the community business empowerment strategy implemented by Kiai Abdullah Syam and evaluate the results of its implementation in the context of economic and social strengthening of the community around the pesantren. The method used is descriptive qualitative with observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation in the pesantren assisted by Kiai Abdullah Syam. Data collection instruments were developed triangulatively to ensure the validity of the findings. The main results show an improvement in the community's quality of life through the establishment of productive economic institutions, strengthening social capital, increasing family income, and integrating religious values in the work ethic. This research is useful in community development, Islamic economics, and pesantren education, and it is relevant for interdisciplinary studies on education management and development sociology. The novelty of this study lies in combining modern marketing strategies with spiritual approaches and pesantren values that have not been widely studied in the empowerment literature. This research contributes to expanding community-based empowerment models that are contextualized and can be replicated in similar communities. In conclusion, pesantren-based empowerment strategies have proven effective in building economic independence and strengthening community social cohesion sustainably

Abstract

Kepemimpinan lebih efektif apabila didukung oleh sumber daya yang kuat dan iklim kerja sama yang baik agar bisa bersaing. Daya saing sekolah memiliki peranan penting dalam eksistensi sekolah terutama di era global karena salah satu syarat bagi keberhasilan pendidikan adalah adanya sistem manajemen yang terstruktur dan pencitraan yang baik terhadap civitasnya agar tetap memiliki daya saing kuat dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus dengan rancangan multisitus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; Model kepemimpinan dalam peningkatan daya saing sekolah adalah model kepemimpinan transformasional profetik dengan pendekatan kepemimpinan kolektif kolegial dan pendekatan situasional yakni partisipatif leadership dan instruktif.

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi sebagai institusi sosial yang mempengaruhi budaya suatu bangsa harus siap menghadapi tantangan perubahan dengan menghasilkan lulusan yang tangguh. Karena itu, perguruan tinggi harus mampu menjadi lembaga visioner global dan memiliki sumber daya berstandar internasional. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan ini, perlu dilakukan perubahan paradigmatik yang adaptif terhadap perubahan-perubahan di masa depan; seperti memiliki pola pikir visioner berorientasi pada penciptaan budaya kerja yang dinamis, produktif, dan kompetitif. Kondisi ideal ini akan terwujud melalui seting kepemimpinan yang kompeten. Faktanya kepemimpinan seseorang akan lebih efektif jika didukung oleh kondisi budaya kerja yang kuat. Dalam artikel ini akan dibahas tentang kepemimpinan dan korealsinya dengan penciptaan budaya kerja produktif Dosen di perguruan Tinggi Islam Swasta di Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif; jenis studi kasus dengan desain multikasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan; 1) Konsep pendidikan kepemimpinan dalam pengembangan budaya kerja dosen menekankan pada kemampuan membentuk inti keyakinan dan nilai-nilai inti pekerjaan yang teraktualisasikan dalam tingkah laku dan sistem kerja, 2) model kepemimpinan, mengembangkan spiritual-transformasional dan kepemimpinan visioner melalui profesionalisme. dan pendekatan berbasis situasi dan kolegial berbasis budaya, 3) Strategi kepemimpinan, mengembangkan strategi empiris rasional, strategi normal-reeducative dan strategi power-coercive jenis prospector dan defender, 4) Hasil dari strategi kepemimpinan adalah peningkatan kinerja dosen (disiplin, kerja produktivitas, prestasi kerja), dan melahirkan sikap kerja utama, komitmen dan kepuasan kerja.   Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Pendidikan, Pengembangan Budaya Dosen.

Abstract

Pendidikan memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan moral bangsa, maka tidak dapat disalahkan apabila pendidikan yang gagal merupakan penyebab terjadinya dekadensi moral. Dalam Islam prioritas perilaku maupun akhlak sangat penting, oleh karena itu Allah SWT memberi kelebihan dalam menciptakan manusia dari pada makhluk lain harapannya agar manusia memiliki akhlak yang sempurna. Kajian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka (library research). Metode pengumpulan data adalah dokumentasi, dengan mencari data tentang konsep pendidikan etika bagi anak dan orang tua dalam surat Al Isra’ ayat 23–24. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik, dan interpretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) etika seorang anak kepada kedua orang tua tidak hanya mereka masih hidup akan tetapi juga sesudah meninggal dunia dengan cara mendo’akan serta memohonkan ampun atas dosa-dosa kedua orang tua. Anak harus selalu berbuat baik kepada orang tua (birrul walidain), tidak boleh berkata kasar, membentak, hormat, lemah lembut dan merendahkan suara dihadapan orang tua. 2) Pendidikan etika bagi orang tua merupakan peranan serta tanggung jawab kedua orang tua terhadap anak baik sebagai pemelihara, pelindung maupun pendidik serta sebagai peletak dasar pendidikan.
