Abstract

This study identifies and analyzes the role of the Internet of Things (IoT) in optimizing the supply chain in the e-commerce sector through a Systematic Literature Review approach. By evaluating the literature from 2020 to 2024, this study shows that IoT can improve operational efficiency, transparency, and automation in supply chain management. Key findings reveal that IoT technology can reduce reliance on inefficient manual processes, allowing companies to monitor the condition of goods and logistics status in real-time. This contributes to faster decision-making and improved customer satisfaction. However, the research also found challenges in implementing IoT, such as the complexity of system integration, high initial investment requirements, and data security and privacy issues. Therefore, companies need to plan a well-thought-out strategy to overcome these obstacles. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration between stakeholders to create an ecosystem that supports IoT adoption. Overall, this research provides valuable insights into the potential and challenges of IoT adoption, and recommends further research to ensure competitiveness in the digital age.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat merupakan salah satu Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi yang wajib dilaksanakan oleh dosen. Pelaksanaan PKM dilakukan bersama mitra yang diharapkan dapat mentransfer ilmu yang dipelajari di perguruan tinggi kepada mitra baik itu pihak sekolah, instansi tertentu, komunitas, maupun kelompok masyarakat. Dengan demikian, sinergisitas antara perguruan tinggi sebagai pusat ilmu pengetahuan dengan masyarakat terutama yang ada di lingkungan kampus dapat terjalin dan keduanya dapat merasakan manfaat dari kegiatan yang dilaksanakan. Pelaksanaan PKM di Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Lampung dilakukan dengan tujuan menjalin kerjasama antara Dosen Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Lampung dan di Pondok Pesantren Minhajur Rufaqo’ Lampung Timur. Kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan selama satu hari dengan tema “Sosialisasi Kewirausahaan dan Workshop Pembuatan Sabun Cuci Piring Ula di di Pondok Pesantren Minhajur Rufaqo’ Lampung Timur” Kegiatan PKM ini melibatkan 4 dosen prodi dan 1 mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis. Metode yang akan digunakan pada kegiatan PKM ini dengan metode ceramah dan Project Based Learning. Output dari kegiatan ini berupa artikel yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal pengabdian terakreditasi dan laporan pengabdian.

Abstract

Student attendance at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya has been recorded manually using attendance sheets signed at each meeting. This conventional method often causes various problems, such as the possibility of signature manipulation, attendance proxy, and the risk of data loss when documents are damaged or lost. In addition, the process of recapitulating attendance requires considerable time and effort, making it difficult for teachers and administrative staff. To address these issues, this study developed a prototype of an Android based online attendance system that utilizes QR codes as student attendance identifiers. The system is designed so that students can independently record their attendance by scanning QR codes, while teachers can monitor attendance in real time. Attendance data is stored online using the Firebase Cloud Firestore service, allowing attendance information to be accessed quickly and securely. The attendance system prototype was built using the Java programming language with an XML-based interface in Android Studio. The test results show that the system is capable of processing attendance data efficiently, reducing the potential for fraud, and speeding up recapitulation, making the attendance administration process more practical and accurate.
