Abstract

This study aims to analyze directly and indirectly the service quality and hotel image on consumer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The location of this study is in several star hotels in Medan such as Graha Serela, Santika Premier Dyandra, Polonia, Grand Swiss-Bell, JW Marriot, Garuda Plaza, and Grand Aston City Hall Hotel. Populations in this study are guests who staying at a Starred Hotel in Medan in 2019, while the sample is determined as many as 215 consumers (hotel guests). Data answering techniques used are interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. The data analysis method used in this study is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results of research show directly, the quality of service provided to Consumer Satisfaction, Service Quality affect on Customer Loyalty, Hotel Image against Consumer Satisfaction, Hotel Image affect Customer Loyalty and Consumer Satisfaction against Customer Loyalty. Directly, the service quality and hotel image of customer loyalty through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstrak:Latar belakang masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah terjadinya fluktuasi earning per share pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Jakarta Islamic Index periode 2015-2018. Earning per share mengalami fluktuasi dipengaruhi oleh faktor financial leverage. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Financial Leverage Terhadap Peningkatan Earning Per Share Pada Perusahaan yang Terdaftar di Jakarta Islamic Index. Teori yang dalam penelitian ini adalahjika Rasio yang digunakan untuk menilai jumlah pendapatan yang diperoleh dalam suatu periode untuk tiap lembar saham yang beredar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Menggunakan pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria tertentu, maka diperoleh kriteria terdiri dari 8 perusahaan dan 32 laporan keuangan. Hasil penelitian secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa financial leverage tidak berpengaruh secara persial terhadap earning per share. Sedangkan secara uji determinasi R2 squaresebesar 0,062  persen variabel dependen earning per sharedijelaskan oleh variabel independen yaitu financial leverage dan sisanya sebesar 99,938 persen dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak ada dalam penelitian ini. Abstract: The problems in this study is the occurrence of earnings fluctuations per share in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index for the 2015-2018 period. Earning per share has fluctuations influenced by financial leverage. This study aims to determine the effect of Financial Leverage Against Earning Per Share Increase in Companies Listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index. The theory in this study is if the ratio is used to assess the amount of income earned in a period for each share outstanding. This research is a quantitative research. Using sampling based on certain criteria, the criteria are obtained consisting of 8 companies and 32 financial statements. The results of the research partially show that financial leverage has no persial effect on earnings per share. Whereas the R2 squares determination test of 0.062 percent of the dependent variable earning per share is explained by the independent variable namely financial leverage and the remaining 99.938 percent is explained by other variables not present in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Current Ratio (CR) terhadap Return On Asset (ROA), (2) mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Debt Equity Ratio (DER) terhadap Return On Asset (ROA), (3) mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Total Asset Turnover (TATO) terhadap Return On Asset (ROA), (4) mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Current Ratio (CR), Debt Equity Ratio (DER) dan Total Asset Turnover (TATO) secara simultan terhadap Return On Asset (ROA) Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Perusahaan Sub Sektor Advertising, Printing, and Media yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014-2018. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh 7 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Dan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda, uji asumsi klasik, uji t (uji parsial), uji f (uji simultan) dan koefisien determinasi bantuan software SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions)

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of Work-Life Balance and work stress on turnover intention mediated by job satisfaction of Bank Syariah Account Officers in Medan. The location of this research is in the city of Medan with the subject of research is the Sharia Bank in the city of Medan, the population of this study amounted to 150 Account Officers, with sampling techniques using Probability Sampling with simple random sampling techniques, determining the sample using the Slovin formula. Data analysis techniques in this study used path analysis. The research results partially showed that Work-life balance and work stress had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, Work-life balance and work stress had a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, job satisfaction had a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Work-life balance directly influences turnover intention without going through job satisfaction, job satisfaction is not an intervening variable, Job stress has a direct effect on turnover intention without going through job satisfaction, job satisfaction is not an intervening variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a model for student financial literacy at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Private University in Medan. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto causal associative research design. This research was conducted at University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, Islamic University of North Sumatra, Pancabudi University, Dharmawangsa University, Al Azhar University, University of Muslim Nusantara, Al Washliyah University, Prima Indonesia University, HKBP Nomensen University, University of Prima Indonesia, and Sari Mutiara University. The study population was all students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Private Universities in Medan City from semester IV to semester VIII. Data collection techniques using a list of questions (questionnaire), interviews and documentation studies. To test the dimensions of the financial literacy construct using structural equational modeling (SEM). The results showed that financial knowledge had a positive and significant effect on financial behavior, financial attitude had a positive and significant effect on financial behavior, and there was a significant reciprocal relationship between financial knowledge and financial attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a Brand Loyalty Improvement Model Based on Brand Satisfaction and Self Congruity of Iphone Users in Medan City. The population in this study were iPhone users in Medan City. The sampling technique was non-probability sampling, while the sample was set at 125 people. Data collection techniques used were interviews (Interview) and a list of questions (Questionaire). The data analysis method used in this research is the Structural Equation Model method. The results showed that Actual Self affects Brand Satisfaction, Actual Self affects Brand Loyalty, Ideal Self affects Brand Satisfaction, Ideal Self affects Brand Loyalty, Brand Satisfaction affects Brand Loyalty. Brand Satisfaction can positively mediate the influence of Actual Self on Brand Loyalty and Brand Satisfaction can positively mediate the influence of Ideal Self on Brand Loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of tolerance for risk, self-success and freedom in working partially on the desire to become entrepreneurs and to analyze the effect of tolerance for risk, self-success and freedom in working simultaneously on the desire to become entrepreneurial. This study uses an associative approach which is a study that aims to determine the relationship between several variables. This research was conducted on students at the Private Islamic College in Medan City. The population is all students at UMSU, UINSU and UISU. While the sample of this research is limited to students in semester 5 and 6. The sampling technique uses non-probability methods. Because of the large population, the sampling used a quota sampling technique of 100 students. Types of data collected to support the variables studied are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used were interviews (Interview), a list of questions (Questionaire) and documentation study. The data analysis technique in this study used an associative approach and quantitative research with multiple linear regression statistical measures.Based on the results of research conducted, r table = 0.300. From the calculations in the study, it was obtained that B from tolerance to risk was 0.057, B Self-success was 0.015 and B freedom in work was 0.609. So it means that if the tolerance for risk is increased 100% (1 time) then the interest in entrepreneurship will increase by 5.7% and if self-success is increased 100% (1 time) then the interest in entrepreneurship will increase by 1.5% and if freedom in work is increased 100% (1 times) then the interest in entrepreneurship will increase by 60.9%

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of customer satisfaction on customer trust, the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty, the effect of trust in customer loyalty and analyze the indirect influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty through trust in Starred Hotels in Medan. The approach used in this study was an associative approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, questionnaire and study documentation. The sampling technique was a non-probability sampling technique. While the sample in the study were 150 hotel customers. The data analysis technique uses path analysis. The results show that customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer trust, customer satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, customer trust has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The role of customer trust significantly mediates the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty of Starred Hotels in Medan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine and analyze the influence of Trust, Price, and Website Quality on Traveloka Customer Satisfaction in the City of Medan and to know and analyze the most dominant factors to influence customer satisfaction. This research was in Medan city community who have used Traveloka service. Data analyzing method is by using descriptive analyzing method and multiple linear regression. This research is study asssociative, and this research is using primary and secondary data which was obtained by documentation study and quesionnaire whose measurment is using likert differential scale. Data was processed satistically by using SPSS (Statistic Package For the Social Sciens) software program in 2020, namely t-test, f-test, and indentification of determinant (R2 ). As the result of this research, based of simultaneous test, it is prove that the factor of trust, price and website quality have a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction of Traveloka in the City of Medan. Particially, trust, price and website quality have a significant and positive effect on customer satisfaction. The value of Adjusted R Square 0,645% which means 64,5% of customer satisfactioncan be explained by variables trust, price, and website quality, while the remaining are 35,5% was explained by other variables which were not examined in this research

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between work environment, work discipline and the purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the influence of public figures on purchasing decisions, to find out and analyze brand image on purchasing decisions, to find out and analyze brand equity on purchasing decisions and to find out public figure, brand image and brand equity towards jointly against the decision to purchase Yamaha motorbikes in Medan. The approach used in this research is an associative approach. The population in this study were all consumers who used Yamaha NMAX motorbikes in West Medan District, while the sample was determined by nonprobability sampling so that the number of respondents was 80 people using incidental sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Classic Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression, t Test and F Test, and Determination Coefficient. Data processing in this study uses SPSS 21 software program. The results of this study indicate that Public Figur has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for Yamaha NMAX Motorcycles Brand Image has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for Yamaha NMAX Motorcycles. Brand Equity has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for Yamaha NMAX Motorcycles
