Abstract

The purpose of this study were to determine the general public perception of Mataram City in terms of products and financial institutions that provide sharia investment products and decisions society to invest in sharia products. Data collection method used in this research is sample survey. Sampling technique in this research use purposive sampling with amount of sample counted 100 people. The analytical tools used in this research are the public perception index and decision-making was based on ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ answeared from the respondents. The result of this study showed that the perception of the general public in the city of Mataram toward sharia investment products is good. In spite of the people are still have doubt about the sharia principles used by Islamic financial institutions, both bank financial institutions or non-bank financial institutions. For investment decisions, from 100 respondent, 58 people decided to invest sharia products.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine visitor preference of tourism area in Gili Meno, North Lombok Regency. As tourist preferences to Gili Meno divided into 3 preferences, i.e. the preference based on tourist attraction, accomodation and accessibility. Data collection method used in this research is sample survey. Sampling technique in this research use accidental sampling with amount of sample counted 50 people. The analytical tools used in this research is descriptive statistics with frequncy tables. The result of this study showed that: in term of tourist attraction the visitor preferred scenery and for as tourism activity they preferred snorkeling; in term of accomodation they preferred homestay and the place having a meal they preferred restaurant; accessibility preferences towards tourist sites is the ease of reaching the location and in term of transportation they preferred bicycle. Especially for accessibility, improvement the schedule departure of the boat to Gili Meno are needed.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to identify the factors of success and failure of the implementation of computer-based information systems at the Departments of Government in the city of Mataram, and to determine the position or to map the information system, information resources’ perspectives. This research is a descriptive study by collecting primary data from 32 government agencies which was based on interviews based on the questionnaire that has been prepared. The results showed that the persistence of the mismatch of education and skills resource officers from the perspective of human information. Inadequate readiness of the hardware owned by the Government Agencies. Most of operating systems (OS) used and Microsoft Windows-based applications are still vulnerable to a computer virus attacks. SOP is not owned by most of the Government Agencies, and the some have still not complied. The computer networking is still underdeveloped in most of the Government Agencies. Finally, the data or information has not been fully utilized by almost all levels of management to the decision-making process. To that end, it is suggested that it is necessary to strengthen and empowering capabilities and expertise personnel, upgrading and server procurement, the development of wireless-based network for the short term, while maintaining a commitment at all levels of management to utilize the data/ information in the decision-making process
