Abstract

The purpose of this study were to determine the general public perception of Mataram City in terms of products and financial institutions that provide sharia investment products and decisions society to invest in sharia products. Data collection method used in this research is sample survey. Sampling technique in this research use purposive sampling with amount of sample counted 100 people. The analytical tools used in this research are the public perception index and decision-making was based on ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ answeared from the respondents. The result of this study showed that the perception of the general public in the city of Mataram toward sharia investment products is good. In spite of the people are still have doubt about the sharia principles used by Islamic financial institutions, both bank financial institutions or non-bank financial institutions. For investment decisions, from 100 respondent, 58 people decided to invest sharia products.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine visitor preference of tourism area in Gili Meno, North Lombok Regency. As tourist preferences to Gili Meno divided into 3 preferences, i.e. the preference based on tourist attraction, accomodation and accessibility. Data collection method used in this research is sample survey. Sampling technique in this research use accidental sampling with amount of sample counted 50 people. The analytical tools used in this research is descriptive statistics with frequncy tables. The result of this study showed that: in term of tourist attraction the visitor preferred scenery and for as tourism activity they preferred snorkeling; in term of accomodation they preferred homestay and the place having a meal they preferred restaurant; accessibility preferences towards tourist sites is the ease of reaching the location and in term of transportation they preferred bicycle. Especially for accessibility, improvement the schedule departure of the boat to Gili Meno are needed.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to identify the factors of success and failure of the implementation of computer-based information systems at the Departments of Government in the city of Mataram, and to determine the position or to map the information system, information resources’ perspectives. This research is a descriptive study by collecting primary data from 32 government agencies which was based on interviews based on the questionnaire that has been prepared. The results showed that the persistence of the mismatch of education and skills resource officers from the perspective of human information. Inadequate readiness of the hardware owned by the Government Agencies. Most of operating systems (OS) used and Microsoft Windows-based applications are still vulnerable to a computer virus attacks. SOP is not owned by most of the Government Agencies, and the some have still not complied. The computer networking is still underdeveloped in most of the Government Agencies. Finally, the data or information has not been fully utilized by almost all levels of management to the decision-making process. To that end, it is suggested that it is necessary to strengthen and empowering capabilities and expertise personnel, upgrading and server procurement, the development of wireless-based network for the short term, while maintaining a commitment at all levels of management to utilize the data/ information in the decision-making process

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the trust of the millennial generation in Islamic financial institutions. The trust of the millennial generation refers to the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) which consists of transparancy, accountability, responsibility, independence, fairness and sharia compliance. The data collection method used was the sample survey. The number of samples in this study was 150 samples. The sampling technique used in this study was accidental sampling. The analytical tool used is descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that the millennial generation's trust in Islamic financial institutions is high. This proves that the millennial generation in West Nusa Tenggara Province basically already has good trust in the operation of Islamic financial institutions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure satisfaction compared to performance on educational services for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram, using the servqual model from Parasuraman et.al. which consists of fives dimensions, namely Tangible, Realibility, Responsiveness, Assurance and Emphaty. Respondents consisted of 135 students who were selected by purposive sampling from 3 majors which were evenly divided 45 students for each department. Data were analyzed using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA).From the analysis it was found that: the average level of satisfaction in education services got a score of 15.5 with the IKM = 72.48% which was at the level of "Satisfactory" with service quality in the category of "Good". There is no wide gap between the level of satisfaction and the level of importance (expectation) in the three research majors.To increase student satisfaction, leaders need to pay attention to the dimensions that get the lowest satisfaction, such as the tangible dimension, which includes toilets, religious facilities, physical facilities, provision of a canteen, and other complementary facilities. Besides, it is necessary to increase the sensitivity of lecturers and staff to facilitate student affairs, especially in the thesis guidance process.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Persepsi dan Sikap Masyarakat Terhadap Rencana Dikembangkannya Wisata Syariah (Halal Tourism) Di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Metode pembuktian terhadap tujuan penelitian tersebut menggunakan metode penelitian diskriptif. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Masyarakat Nusa Tenggara Barat memiliki persepsi yang BAIK terhadap rencana penerapan wisata halal di daerah ini, sikap yang POSITIF terhadap rencana penerapan wisata halal di daerah ini dan dari diagram Kartesius diketahui bahwa hasil rencana penerapan wisata halal dipersepsikan dan disikapi sangat tinggi oleh Masyarakat NTB. Saran untuk pengambil keputusan dalam hal ini Pemerintah NTB harus membuat kebijakan yang mempertahankan persepsi dan sikap itu tetap BAIK dan POSITIF. Dengan membuat kebijakan yang konkrit terkait dengan implementasi pariwisata halal, sehingga tidak sekedar pada tataran hukum atau peraturan daerah. Selain itu sosialisasi perlu dipercepat sehingga masyarakat paham bagaimana wisata halal tersebut akan diterapkan.Kata kunci :

Abstract

  The Universities are facing a touggh competition amongst each others to attract the maximum number of eligible candidates. This paper examines the influence  facors those are considered by students in making decisions in choosing a higher education for  their studies. This research was conducted on new undergraduate students of the 2020 Faculty of Economics and Business, Mataram University, with 100 respondents who were taken proportionally. There are 10 variables studied in this study, namely: reference group, family, social class, campus location, image of study program/faculty, job opportunities, educational facilities, education costs, accreditation status and promotion/communication. The results of the analysis show that from the 10 variables studied previously, they turned into 2 new variables, namely: campus attributes and social interactions which were able to explain up to 70.2% of the total variables studied. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of socialization in growing interest in sharia product investment in the millennial generation. The data collection method used is a sample survey with a sampling technique using accidental sampling. The number of respondents in this study were 100 people. The data collection tool used is a questionnaire. The analytical tool in this research is descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that 93% of the millennial generation in West Nusa Tenggara know the difference between conventional and sharia financial products; 25% get information on sharia financial products from social media; 100% of the millennial generation are interested in investing in Islamic financial products; and the average of investment interest is high.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and product quality on iPhone smartphone purchasing decisions among students at the University of Mataram. This type of research used in this research is associative with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique was determined by purposive sampling method with a total of 100 respondents. The data collection tools used a questionnaire and google form which had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence of brand image variables on purchasing decisions, (2) There is a positive and significant influence on product quality variables on iPhone smartphone purchasing decisions among students at the University of Mataram

Abstract

Komoditas rumput laut di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) merupakan produk unggulan daerah, namun pemanfaatannya belum maksimal. Umumnva industri pengolahan rumput Iaut memproduksi berbentuk tepung ”carginan", jelly, dan berbagai produk olahan yang menjadi ikon makanan khas NTB dan menjadi oleh-oleh bagi wisatawan. Potensi rumput laut tersebut rnendorong ibu-bu anggota UKM Putri Rinjani yang dimotivasi oleh lbu Hj. Zaenab dan UD Azhari bertempat di Desa Bilebante di Lombok Tengah, mengelola usaha makanan kecil dengan mengolah rumput Iaut dengan hasil pertanian yang lain. Produk makanan kecil yang dikembangkan antara lain oleh mereka seperti : kripik tortila jagung rumput laut, stik rumput laut, dan dodol rumput laut. Makanan kecil yang mereka hasilkan masih memilikl kelemahan iika ingin dipasarkan di pasar modern. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk dapat memasuki pasar modern, metode kegiatan dengan ceramah, diskusi, dan melakukan pengujian kandungan gizi produk yang dihasilkan. Kegiatan berlangsung 7 (tujuh) bulan dari bulan April sampai dengan November 2017. Hasil kegiatan peserta mendapat pengetahuan dan pengarahan tentang penguatan usaha untuk masuk ke pasar modern, kemasan produk, mendapatkan hasil pengujian kandungan gizi, strategi rnemperluas pasar, den menyewa tempat sebagai etalase produk.
