Abstract

IbM Alat Pencuci Ubi kayu bagi UKM Bahan Baku Mireng dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas industri pembuatan bahan baku mireng yang berada di wilayah Desa Kedung Wringin, Jatilawang, Banyumas. Sasaran dalam pelaksanaan IbM adalah perbaikan metode dan alat kerja dalam pencucian dan parut ubi kayu. Metode dan alat kerja untuk mencuci ubi kayu yang digunakan oleh UKM mitra masih tradisional dan kurang higienis karena proses pencucian dilakukan dengan cara diinjak dengan kaki pada bak yang terbuat dari semen yang mudah ditumbuhi lumut. Hal ini menjadi kendala bagi UKM, karena sebagai bahan baku makanan ringan, maka ubi kayu yang digunakan tentu saja diharapkan higienis dalam proses pengolahannya. Sedangkan alat parut ubi kayu baru dimiliki oleh UKM II. Proses pemarutan ubi kayu yang sewa pada pihak ketiga membuat waktu dan biaya produksi menjadi tidak efektif dan efisien. Usulan perbaikan metode dan alat kerja merupakan hasil analisa dan pemikiran dosen dan mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah Analisis Perancangan Kerja. Setelah kegiatan IbM dilaksanakan serta alat (produk) telah diserahkan dan digunakan oleh kedua mitra didapatkan peningkatan kinerja dengan perincian: Mitra 1 (Pak Sarmo) 50% penghematan waktu kerja dan 86.5% penghematan biaya kerja dan Mita 2 (Pak Muchidin) 50% penghematan waktu kerja dan 40% penghematan biaya kerja.

Abstract

UD Sari Jaya Makmur merupakan industri yang bergerak di bidang produksi pakan ternak. Bahan baku yang digunakan dalam pembuatan pakan ternak terdiri dari dedak 30%, onggok singkong 30%, tumpi jagung 35%, pollar 3% dan molase 2%. Pengadaan bahan baku tumpi jagung dan onggok singkong sering mengalami kekurangan akibat keterlambatan kedatangan sekitar 3 – 5 hari, sehingga perlu dilakukan perencanaan dan pengendalian tumpi jagung dan onggok singkong untuk mengatasi keterlambatan tersebut menggunakan metode P dan Q. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan metode P dan metode Q, diperoleh menggunakan metode P tanpa back order memberikan total biaya minimum sebesar Rp 1.129.507.220 untuk onggok singkong dan Rp 1.865.046.824 untuk tumpi jagung. Persediaan optimum onggok singkong sebesar 123,82 ton dengan interval pemesanan 1,05 bulan, dan persediaan optimum tumpi jagung 71,14 ton dengan interval pemesanan 0,26 bulan.

Abstract

Guwatirta Sejahtera is one of the companies engaged in the bottled drinking water industry. Problems that occur at PT. Guwatirta Sejahtera is the absence of routine maintenance on the machine so that damage, especially on automatic bottle filling machines, often occurs. This study applies a total productive maintenance method to determine the level of damage and identify the source of the problem as a basis for making recommendations for improvement in reducing the level of damage that often occurs in automatic bottle filling machines. The stage of the study begins by determining the engine efficiency and six big losses using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness parameter (OEE). Then proceed with identifying the source of the problem using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. Recommendations for improvement include making: a daily inspection checklist, small working groups, Standard Operating Procedures for operating the machine and routine maintenance schedules. Based on the estimated calculation if the recommendation for improvement is applied, the value of the original engine efficiency of 84.26% increased to 98.97% and the initial maintenance costs of Rp.81,232,369.48 decreased to Rp.75,355,764.39 per year

Abstract

AbstractPartners in the Community Partnership Program activities are Pande Besi PRASOJO located in Nangsri Kidul RT 2 / IV Nangsri Kebakkramat Karanganyar and Pande Besi MANDIRI located at  Dondong RT 2/IX Klumprit Mojolaban Sukoharjo. The two partners are traditional blacksmiths. The problems faced by the two partners are relatively the same, namely: 1) traditional / conventional production processes; 2) do not apply the principles of Occupational Health & Safety. Solutions that will be carried out from this activity are: 1) production of blower and grinding tools; 2) the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The method that will be carried out to realize the objectives of the PKM implementation program is through: 1) Procurement of electric blowers and grinders for both partners; 2) Increased knowledge and training in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). In this method both partner SMEs are involved in each activity starting from problem identification, action analysis, action planning and implementation of activities. Through this method, the identified problems and actions to be taken are bottom up proposals. So that every action that will be carried out is right on target and is able to realize the objectives to be achieved maximally. The results of the Community Partnership Program activities were Pande Besi PRASOJO and Pande Besi MANDIRI succeeded in increasing the quantity and quality of products through the procurement of blower and grinding tools. Both partners have also implemented occupational health and safety principles through increased knowledge and use of PPE.

Abstract

Perencanaan perjalanan wisata yang tidak tepat akan menyebabkan pemborosan biaya dan juga waktu perjalanan, bahkan gagal. Namun demikian, hingga saat ini, belum terdapat sebuah tools cerdas (misal: website) yang dapat membantu calon wisatawan membuat rencana perjalanan. Untuk membangun websitecerdas yang dimaksud, sebuah teknologi semantic web diterapkan untuk membentuk pengetahuan terkait relasi antar objek pariwisata di wilayah eks-karesidenan Surakarta. Metode prototyping digunakan pada perancangan aplikasi perencanaan wisata ini. Tahap pertama dimulai dengan analisis kinerja terhadap system yang sudah ada dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis kebutuhan calon wisatawan ketika membuat sebuah rencana perjalanan wisata. Langkah selanjutnya adalah perancangan model semantic sebagai representasi data lokasi wisata di wilayah eks-karesidenan Surakarta. Model semantic tersebut dipadukan dengan data sekunder seperti restoran, hotel, jarak, dan koordinat Global Positioning System (GPS) lokasi wisata. Algoritma Djikstra juga diterapkan untuk memperoleh rencana perjalanan wisata dengan rute terdekat. Hasil ujicoba memperlihatkan bahwa prototipe telah mampu menampilkan rencana perjalanan wisata di wilayah eks-karesidenan Surakarta, meliputi lokasi wisata utama dan keberadaan lokasi wisata sekitar yang masih memungkinkan untuk ditempuh oleh user (calon wisatawan). Abstract

The SME under study, which specializes in hard wooden and leather furniture for foreign markets, encountered difficulties in integrating their make-to-order production system with tight shipping export deadlines. This necessitated a systematic worker scheduling technique in order to satisfy production targets and reduce labor expenditures. The aim of this research was to design a worker scheduling system to ensure that the production makespan corresponded to the available time limitations. The study found that the Tibrewala, Philippe, and Browne algorithm for multi-shift workers scheduling significantly reduced labor costs while ensuring order fulfillment within predefined constraints, emphasizing the need for additional research that includes all production cost variables for more comprehensive cost savings.

Abstract

The people in Surakarta are still going to the traditional market. Even though the modern markets are starting to appear such as supermarkets, hypermarts, or malls. One of the traditional markets that is classified as class 1 in the city of Solo is Legi Market. Legi Market which is located at Jalan S. Parman No. 19 Setabelan, Banjarsari is the main market in the city of Solo. “Buruh Gendong” is a person who help others to carry the goods. “Buruh Gendong” have an important role in Legi Market. They bring goods from outside to be brought inside market or they bring goods from buyers to be taken outside to the parking area. There are around 200 “Buruh Gendong” in Legi Market, with an average age of over 40 years old. The weight of the load is aproximately 30 kg to 100 kg. The distance from inside to outside is about 50 meters. Almost Buruh Gendong do not aware with the impact of their duty to the skeletal system,called Musculoskeletal Disorders (MsDs). Mapping the potential for MSDs is very helpful for the government for reducing the incidence of skeletal muscle injury. This study will discuss how to overcome MsDs.
