Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan model pendidikan kecakapan hidup dalam pembelajaran program pendidikan kesetaraan; menjelaskan keefektivan model dan dampak model dalam pencapaian tujuan standar kompetensi peserta didik. Populasi penelitian yang didesain dengan penelitian tindakan praktis (pracyical action research) adalah tutor pendidikan kesetaraan yang masih aktif di Kota Semarang. Sampel penelitian ditetapkan secara purposive random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan deskriptif kualitatif dan statistik uji t test perpasangan. Hasil penelitian adalah penerapan model pendidikan kecakapan hidup pada awalnya masih terpisah dengan mata pelajaran yang lebih difokuskan pada aspek kecakapan vokasi. Kemampuan tutor dalam menyusun program pembelajaran dengan menjabarkan kecakapan hidup dalam materi pelajaran masih rendah. Kualifikasi kecakapan hidup peserta didik masih rendah. Setelah penerapan model, kemampuan tutor dalam menyusun program pembelajaran meningkat, termasuk pada kategori baik. Kualifikasi kecakapan hidup peserta didik meningkat secara signifikan. Penerapan model pendidikan kecakapan hidup terintegrasi dalam mata pelajaran efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi peserta didik pendidikan kesetaraan.Kata Kunci: model pendidikan kecakapan hidup; standar kompetensi lulusan; pendidikan kesetaraan

Abstract

Play is a joyful activity and an inherent need for children so that children maylearn many skills in pleasure without any pressure. Trough play, children will be wellprepared for their environment and be ready on their next educational levels.Children’s intelligence is not only determined by a single score based on anintelligence test which measures the verbal, linguistic, and logical mathematicalcompetence. Children also have an intelligence which is called multiple intelligences.People have more or less 8 intelligences, which are verbal linguistic, logicmathematic, visual spatial, kinesthetic, music, interpersonal, intrapersonal, andnaturalistic. The multiple intelligences should be well understood by teachers, parents,and other educators. They should not develop only verbal, linguistic, and logicalmathematical intelligences. Developing multiple intelligences during early childhoodcan be conducted through a joyful play. Abstract

This study tried to gain comprehensive understanding (holistic and contextual) re- garding the development of the arts in early childhood in fishing communities of Tambak Lorok Semarang. Specifically, the study was developed in order to find a clear and factual picture of the development of artistic creativity in early childhood and forms of parents’ participation in the implementation of the development of artistic creativity in early childhood. The approach used in this study to explore the various sources of data is qualitative descriptive approach, to provide a picture of the reality on the subject study objectively. This study is limited by time and place, and the cases studied in the form of events and activities of individuals. The results showed 1) the limited of teachers understanding regards the artistic creativity that can be taught remember that early childhood is the golden age of creative expression. 2) Many obstacles in Paud Nanda Sifana developing various teaching methods to develop artistic creativity. 3) The role of parents towards children education in the Tambak Lorok neighborhood still limited, it can be seen from the less cooperation between teachers and parents in educating children, the parents assume that the school or the teacher is the only party who in charge on the children education.

Abstract

Sibling Rivalry merupakan hal yang wajar terjadi pada keluarga yang mempunyai balita lebih dari satu. Orang tua adalah kunci bagi munculnya Sibling Rivalry dan juga berperan memperkecil munculnya hal tersebut. Oleh karena itu muncul permasalahan yang menarik untuk diteliti, yaitu: Apakah ada pengaruh kesiapan terhadap perilaku orang tua dalam menghadapi Sibling Rivalry pada anak usia dini ?. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah secara umum untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesiapan terhadap perilaku orang tua dalam menghadapi Sibling Rivalry pada anak usia dini sedangkan secara khusus untuk mengetahui kesiapan dan perilaku orang tua dalam menghadapi Sibling Rivalry pada anak usia dini. Penelitian kuantitatif ini dilakukan pada masyarakat Desa Harjowinangun Barat Kecamatan Tersono Kabupaten Batang. Sampel yang dipilih adalah orang tua yang mempunyai balita lebih dari satu di Desa Harjowinangun Barat kecamatan Tersono Kabupaten Batang berjumlah 33 orang. Variabel yang dikaji kesiapan orang tua dalam menghadapi Sibling Rivalry sebagai variabel bebas dan perilaku orang tua dalam menghadapi Sibling Rivalry sebagai variabel terikat.  Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah angket. Selanjutnya untuk keperluan analisis data digunakan anasisis deskriptif dengan rumus persentase dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan kesiapan orang tua dalam menghadapi sibling rivalry pada anak usia dini di Desa Harjowinangun Barat Kecamatan Tersono Kabupaten Batang dalam kategori kurang baik dan perilakunya dalam menghadapi sibling rivalry pada anak usia dini juga kurang baik. Hasil analisis regresi memperoleh nilai Fhitung = 27,291 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. ini berarti bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan kesiapan terhadap perilaku orang tua dalam menghadapi sibling rivalry pada anak usia dini di Desa Harjowinangun Barat Kecamatan Tersono Kabupaten Batang. Adapun besarnya pengaruh tersebut adalah 46,8%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu perilaku orang tua dalam menghadapi sibling rivalry merupakan cerminan dari kesiapan orang tua dalam sibling rivalry pada anak usia dini. Saran terkait simpulan tersebut yaitu: 1)  Bagi orang tua yang memiliki anak usia dini lebih dari satu perlu mempersiapkan secara dini munculnya sibling rivalry pada anak-anaknya dengan memberikan perhatian dan kasih sayang secara adil sesuai masa perkembangan anak agar munculnya perilaku sibling rivalry pada diri anaknya dapat diminimalisir seoptimal mungkin, dan 2) Bagi penelitian selanjutnya yang tertarik melakukan kajian sejenis dapat        mengambil variabel lain yang diduga turut mempengaruhi munculnya perilaku sibling rivalry agar diperoleh informasi yang semakin lengkap terkait faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi munculnya perilaku sibling rivalry.Sibling Rivalry is a natural thing happens in families that have more than one toddler. Parents are the key to the emergence of Sibling Rivalry and also acts minimize the appearance of things. Therefore, it appeared interesting to study the issues, namely: Is there any influence on the behavior of parents readiness in the face of Sibling Rivalry in early childhood?. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of general preparedness for the parents' behavior in the face of Sibling Rivalry in early childhood while specifically to determine readiness and parental behavior in the face of Sibling Rivalry in early childhood. Quantitative research was conducted in the village of West Harjowinangun Tersono Batang district. Selected samples are parents who have more than one toddler in the village of West Harjowinangun Tersono Batang district numbered 33 people. The variables that were examined parental readiness in the face of Sibling Rivalry as the independent variable and the behavior of the parents in dealing with Sibling Rivalry as the dependent variable. The instruments used in the data collection was a questionnaire. Furthermore, for the purposes of data analysis used descriptive anasisis percentage formula and simple linear regression analysis. The results of descriptive analysis showed readiness in the face of parents sibling rivalry in early childhood in the village of West Harjowinangun District Tersono Batang in unfavorable category and behavior in dealing with sibling rivalry in early childhood is also not good. The results of the regression analysis to obtain the value of 27.291 with significance Fhitung = 0.000 <0.05. This means that there is a significant influence on the behavior of parents readiness in dealing with sibling rivalry in early childhood in the village of West Harjowinangun Tersono Batang district. The magnitude of these effects was 46.8%. Conclusions from this research that parents' behavior in the face of sibling rivalry is a reflection of the readiness of parents in sibling rivalry in early childhood. Advice related to these conclusions: 1) For parents who have children early age are more than one needs to prepare early emergence of sibling rivalry in children with attention and affection equally appropriate term behavioral development of children so that the emergence of sibling rivalry in his son optimally minimized, and 2) Those who are interested in doing further research can take a similar study of other variables also influence the emergence of behavior alleged sibling rivalry in order to obtain more complete information related to the factors that influence the emergence behavior of sibling rivalry.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hak bagi setiap anak tanpa kecuali. Keluarga memiliki peran penting dalam memenuhi layanan pendidikan karena merupakan lingkungan pendidikan pertama dan utama bagi perkembangan pribadi anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah; (1) bagaimana upaya yang dilakukan pengemudi becak dalam meningkatkan pendidikan anak di Desa Pasarbatang Brebes,(2) kendala dan faktor pendukung yang dihadapi pengemudi becak dalam meningkatkan pendidikan anak di Desa Pasarbatang Brebes. Subyek penelitian ini adalah pengemudi becak di Desa Pasarbatang memiliki anak sedang bersekolah, berjumlah lima keluarga. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemenuhan kebutuhan pendidikan secara material dan sipritual, pemberian motivasi dan fasilitas belajar, bantuan dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar serta pemilihan lokasi pendidikan merupakan upaya pengemudi becak meningkatkan pendidikan anak. Keterbatasan penghasilan, kategori pendidikan yang rendah, kesibukan bekerja menjadi kendala pengemudi becak meningkatkan pendidikan anak. Faktor pendukung yang dimiliki pengemudi becak dalam meningkatkan pendidikan anak adalah: kesediaan menjalani pekerjaan sampingan untuk menambah pendapatan keluarga sehingga biaya sekolah dapat dipenuhi.Education is the right of every child without exception. Families have an important role in meeting the educational services because it is first and foremost an educational environment for children's personal development. The purpose of this study are: (1) how the efforts of rickshaw drivers in improving education for children in the village Pasarbatang Bradford, (2) barriers and supporting factors faced by rickshaw drivers in improving the education of children in the village of Bradford Pasarbatang. The subject of this research is Pasarbatang rickshaw driver in the village had children were at school, the family of five. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the educational needs materially and sipritual, motivation and learning facilities, assistance in overcoming learning difficulties as well as site selection rickshaw driver education is an effort to improve education of children. Limited income, low education category, the constraints of busy work cycle rickshaw improve children's education. Factors supporting the rickshaw driver who owned improve children's education are: the willingness to undergo a second job to supplement the family income so that school fees can be met.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kegiatan pembinaan rohani, faktor pendukung serta penghambat dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan dan perubahan perilaku sosial peserta setelah memperoleh pembinaan rohani. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu empat peserta, dua pembina, sementara informan yaitu ketua kegiatan harian. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teori, sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data dengan tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pembinaan rohani meliputi “WL DEVO” (kegiatan doa-doa), sesi pagi, DVD khotbah, sesi malam, bible study, morning meeting, doa kamar, doa blok, dan movie. Faktor pendukung berupa sarana dan prasarana cukup memadai, pembina yang berpengalaman, metode pembinaan, dan motivasi dari dalam diri peserta. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu latar belakang sosial budaya peserta berbeda, kurangnya tenaga ahli profesional, dan kejenuhan peserta. Setelah mengikuti pembinaan rohani, terdapat perubahan perilaku sosial peserta ke arah positif.

Abstract

The objective of the research is investigating parents’ perspectives and decisions toward homeschooling at Charlotte Mason Indonesia Community (KCMI). The subject of the research is three parents who have children aged 4-6 years joining at KCMI. Qualitative phenomenology is selected as the research method. The data collecting techniques are interview, observation, and documentation. The data analyzing technique employ Miles and Huberman’s concept, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results reveal that: The reason of parents in choosing homeschooling varies. First, the difference between the concept of ideal education in the family and the system of educational institutions in Indonesia. Second, the dissatisfaction with the practice of early childhood education in the formal institution. Third, stimulating from reading books and articles on the internet about proper children's education, then reflecting it on education in Indonesia. Three parents choose KCMI as a place to develop and apply Charlotte Mason’s thoughts or philosophy about ideal child and education which is in line with the family principles.

Abstract

Vocabulary and creativity are very important to be developed, one of which is through free drawing so that children can express themselves. The design of this study was quasi-experimental, with a form of non-equivalent control group design. The population were all children aged 5-6 years old, Dharma Wanita Kindergarten in Batangan District, Pati Regency. Data sample were Dharma Wanita Bulumulyo Kindergarten amounting to 46 students and Dharma Wanita Ngening Kindergarten totalling 51 students. Simple random sampling technique was used to obtain the samples. Data collection used was non-test techniques, namely observation and documentation. Observations were made to observe the vocabulary and creativity of early childhood before and after treatment. Data analysis used a paired t-test. The results showed that free drawing activities were effective in increasing vocabulary and early childhood creativity. Free drawing can encourage children to describe the pictures that have been made and increase student creativity through exploration of various drawing materials, colors, and imagination.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan Motivasi Relawan Rumah Pintar Bangjo Semarang. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini terdiri dari 1 pengurus Rumah Pintar Bangjo, 7 relawan, dan 2 anak jalanan dampingan Rumah Pintar Bangjo. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Motivasi Relawan Rumah Pintar Bangjo Semarang mencakup 2 jenis motivasi yaitu motivasi intrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik; 2) faktor penghambat antara lain kurangnya jumlah relawan dan sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai sedangkan faktor pendukung antara lain adanya dukungan mitra dan orangtua anak jalanan.
