Abstract

Marine ambulance, as medically equipped vehicle which tranports patient to referral facilites, is very important in Batam archipelago. Routine maintenance activities is conducted to ensure all systems function properly. The maintenance includes maintenance of ship mechanics and ship engines, electrical systems, and hull cleaning. Maintenance standard operating procedure (SOP) is composed to help ship crew conducting ship maintenance. The maintenance activity repairs system problems successfully and appreciated by ship crew, LAZ Batam, and Awal Bros Hospital as service provider; and community who benefited by the service. Healthcare service operates well although some respondents think there is lack of equipments. Safety equipment and medical equipment are not enough for 13% and 20% respondents, respectively. However, all respondent think that the maintenance activity has repaired ship system and ensure ship to operate properly, and deliver healthcare service well.

Abstract

Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan transportasi darat yang semakin meningkat, perkembangan teknologi salah satunya ditandai dengan semakin beragam nya produk kendaraan yang ada di pasaran. Perkembangan ini juga mengarah pada penyempurnaan desain bentuk mobil yang Aerodinamis untuk mengurangi gaya gesek udara yang dapat menambah kestabilan kendaraan saat melaju. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemasangan side skirt dan model side skirt manakah yang paling stabil dalam menerima hambatan dari berbagai arah. pengujian dilakukan dengan empat model side skirt yaitu Tanpa side skirt, model side skirt I, model side skirt II, model side skirt III dengan empat kali pengulangan di setiap model nya. Variabel bebas adalah kondisi yang mempengaruhi munculnya suatu gejala. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi variabel bebas adalah kecepatan angin, beban, luasan alat uji. Variabel terikat adalah himpunan sejumlah gejala yang memiliki pula sejumlah aspek atau unsur di dalamnya, yang berfungsi menerima atau menyesuaikan diri dengan kondisi variabel lain. Dalam penelitian ini variabel terikatnya adalah Jenis Side Skirt dan Simpangan pada Manometer (DH) , coefisient drag (cd), gaya drag(fd). Dari hasil penelitian model tanpa side skirt memiliki coefisient drag (cd) 0,02 menghasilkan gaya drag (fd) sebesar 1,55 kg m/s² ,untuk model side skirt I memiliki coefisient drag (cd) sebesar 0,11 menghasilkan gaya drag (fd) 6,21 kg m/s², model side skirt II memiliki nilai coefisient drag (cd) 0,19 menghasilkan gaya drag (fd) 11,6 kg m/s².Dan model side skirt III memiliki nilai coefisient drag (cd) 0,22 menghasilkan gaya drag (fd) sebesar 13,97 kg m/s². penelitian ini dapat di simpulkan pemasangan side skirt berpengaruh terhadap gaya drag. semakin besar nilai coefisient drag (cd) yang dimiliki model side skirt, maka semakin besar gaya drag yang di dapat. Kata kunci : wind tunnel, Aerodinamis, model Side Skirt, coefisient drag, Gaya drag.

Abstract

Dedication to the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) has an important urgency in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for prospective workers. The main objective of this programme is to increase safety awareness, knowledge, and practice of OHS at the work site to reduce the risk of work-related accidents and diseases. This service programme also aims to provide workshops for prospective workers to identify, evaluate, and control OHS risks that exist in the future work environment. Education and implementation of appropriate OHS policies were used as the method of approach and are expected to create a stronger and more sustainable workplace safety culture. The results of this implementation coverage obtained an average increase of 26.3% in the Very Good category and 10.5% in the Good category. The level of awareness and OHS knowledge among workers is improved, along with the quality of the work and living environment, and the accident and injury rate is reduced. This service is expected to increase compliance with applicable OHS regulations and OHS videos, and reduce the negative impact of work accidents on worker productivity and welfare.
