Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran umum tentang tingkat kesiapan belajar siswa, tingkat pencapaian prestasi belajar siswa serta untuk menguji apakah terdapat hubungan antara kesiapan belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran merawat sistem bahan bakar konvensional kendaraan ringan. Penelitian ini digunakan metode ex post facto dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik angket untuk kesiapan belajar siswa dan dokumentasi untuk prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran Merawat Sistem Bahan Bakar Konvensional Kendaraan Ringan di SMKN 6 Bandung. Analisa data yang dipakai menggunakan statistik parametrik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan didapat tingkat kesiapan belajar siswa dalam kategori baik (81,11%), tingkat pencapaian prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI  dalam kategori baik (72,08%), dan hubungan antara kesiapan belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa memiliki tingkat korelasi yang cukup tinggi (rxy  0,53). Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini ialah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kesiapan belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran merawat sistem bahan bakar konvensional kendaraan ringan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini hendaknya guru sebelum memulai mata pelajaran merawat sistem bahan bakar konvensional kendaraan ringan bisa mengetahui dan meningkatkan faktor kesiapan belajar siswa.

Abstract

Didalam biji kopi mengandung alkaloid yang berupa senyawa caffein. Kopi yang mempunyai kadar caffein paling tinggi adalah kopi robusta (Coffea robusta Lindl. Ex De Will).Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan isolasi senyawa alkaloid dari biji kopi robusta  dan identifikasi alkaloid pada biji kopi robusta secara KLT. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian observasi dengan mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi alkaloid menggunakan kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT) dengan fase diam silica GF 254 dan fase gerak CHCl3 : etanol (96 : 4). Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menggambarkan fenomena yang terjadi pada variabel setelah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil penelitian dari isolasi mempunyai rendemen rata-rata 0,32 %. organoleptis caffein adalah berbentuk amorf jarum, berwarna putih, berasa pahit dan tidak berbau. Bentuk bercak seragam dan berwarna jingga. Rf standar dan Rf sampel sama yaitu 0,4 dan memasuki range angka Rf 0,2-0,8. Kesimpulan dari hasil uji laboratorium pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biji kopi robusta mengandung alkaloid, dan senyawa alkaloid dapat diisolasi dan diidentifikasi dengan cara KLT.Kata kunci : robusta, KLT, rendemen, organoleptis, Rf.

Abstract

Ethanol extract of brotowali stem (Tinospora crispa, L) contain 0,5% weight/volume had the same dosage as 0,1 g/kg body weight has the antipiretic effect. This research aimed to know about decrease dosage from ethanol extract of brotowali stem have the antipiretic effect and how the antipiretic potency compared with paracetamol to get effective dosage as antipiretic.Animal research used male albino rats strain Wistar by weight was 160-180 gram, age 2-3 months with sum 25 rats, which were devided into five groups of randomly, each group consist of 5 rats. The first group was used as an negative control given by aquadest 2 ml / 100 g body weight; 12,6 mg / 200 g body weight paracetamol was used as positive control in second group. Whereas the 3rd, 4th, and 5th group was given by ethanol extract brotowali stem containing 0,125%; 0,25%; and 0,5% weight/volume which had the same dosage as 0,025 g/kg body weight; 0,05 g/kg body weight; and 0,1 g/kg body weight. Infra red thermometer was used to measure rats temperature between the two side two legs of rats. Before the experiment, the first temperature of each rats was measured. DPT (Difteri Pertusis and Tetanus) vaccine 0,4 ml by subcutan injection were given to the fever rats. Two hours latter, the rats was treated by ethanol extract brotowali stem. The measurement of temperature rat body is conducted in every 15 minutes during 240 minutes. AUC (Area Under the Curve) was counted from temperature then statistically analized by test of homogeneity of variances and test of normaly distribution with Kolmogorov-Smirnov test then statistically analized ANAVA (analysis variances) and Tukey t test with confidence 95%.The result of this research is showing ethanol extract brotowali stem containing 0,5% weight/volume had same dosage as 0,1 g/kg body weight and 0,25% weight/volume had same dosage as 0,05 g/kg body weight have the antipiretic effect dan go down to ability more small than paracetamol. While ethanol extract brotowali stem contain 0,125% weight/volume had same dosage as 0,025 g/kg body weight haven’t the antipiretic effect. Key word : Antipiretic, brotowali stem, male albino rats strain Wistar.

Abstract

Sumber tananam di Indonesia melimpah ruah, banyak tananam obat yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan manusia. Sebagai contoh campuran bee pollen, rimpang kencur, kunyit, biji pinang dan kayu manis dapat diperuntukan untuk mengobati diabetes mellitus. Campuran ini merupakan alternatif penggunaan obat kimia yang mahal, sulit dicari, efek sampingnya dalam jangka panjang yang merugikan pasien (tidak aman). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tikus yang diinduksi intraperitonial dengan streptozotocin supaya DM, kemudian diterapi dengan campuran untuk menurunkan KGD. Tikus sebanyak 36 ekor dibagi menjadi PI (tikus DM diterapi dengan campran 200mg/200g BB), PII (tikus DM diterapi campuran 250mg/200g BB), PIII (tikus DM diterapi dengan campuran 300mg/200g BB), PIV sebagai control (+) (tikus DM diterapi metforrmin 9mg/200g BB), PV sebagai control (-) (tikus DM diberi aqua 2ml/200g BB) dan PVI sebagai kontro (-) (tikus tidak DM diberi aqua 2ml/200g BB). Hasil penelitian ini tikus DM yang diterapi selama 14 hari PI, PII PIII dan PIV mengalami penurunan. Kesimpulan menunjukkan penurunan KGD (mean -) yang diterapi dengan campura PI, PII, PIII > KGD diberi metformin (PIV).

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Kantor Camat Lubuk Dalam KabupatenSiak. The samples in this study were as many as 33 employees Kantor Camat Lubuk Dalam Kabupaten Siak and entirely sampled so this is a research study census. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of partial and simultaneous competence and leadership to employee performance in Kantor Camat Lubuk Dalam Kabupaten Siak. Based on the results of the study showed that the competence variable (X1) partially affect the performance, leadership variable (X2) partially no effect on performance and competence variables (X1) and the leadership variable (X2) simultaneously affect the performance of employees at Kantor Camat Lubuk Dalam Kabupaten Siak. The suggestion is to employees in order to increase its competence in a way more confidence and always implement systematic steps to solve a problem that occurs on the job. And are expected to maintain an attitude of leadership that leadership in a way more attention to his subordinates and show friendly attitude that strengthen social relationships between leaders and subordinates. Also expected leaders to constantly improve performance employees at Kantor Camat Lubuk Dalam Kabupaten Siak by supporting subordinates in improving the quality of work.Keywords : Competence, Leadership, Performance.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) To analyze the effectiveness of student worksheets and PISA-based test instruments on the developed PBL model, (2) To analyze the effectiveness of student worksheets and PISA-based test instruments on the developed PBL model. In this research, what will be developed is a PISA-based learning tool and test instrument to improve students' mathematical literacy using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model developed by Dick and Carry (1996). The learning tools that will be developed are the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD) and Evaluation Instruments or Mathematical Literacy Ability Tests. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Pasir Limau Kapas which is located at Jalan Dua Desa, Teluk Pulai Village, Pasir Limau Kapas District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The results of this research produce products in the form of e-module teaching materials based on problem solving or Problem Based Learning. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the learning tools developed are included in the valid and practical category and the resulting PISA-based learning tools are effectively used in improving students' mathematical literacy skills. Abstract

Kopi arabika (Coffea arabica L.) Lini S merupakan salah satu yang paling populer di kawasan Asia Pasifik, khususnya di Indonesia. Biji kopi mengandung senyawa fenolik, asam klorogenat dan kafein. Kafein berkhasiat secara klinis menstimulasi susunan saraf pusat dengan menghilangkan rasa lelah, lapar dan kantuk. Tujuan penelitiam ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar kafein dalam biji kopi arabika (Coffea arabica L.) varietas Lini S.Penelitian ini menggunakan cara observasional. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 300 gram serbuk kopi arabika (Coffea arabica L.) varietas Lini S dari perkebunan kopi Banaran. Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode refluks, kemudian diuji secara kualitatif menggunakan reaksi parry serta untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi kafein dengan cara Titrasi Bebas Air. Hasil uji kualitatif menggunakan reaksi parry yang positif kafein ditandai dengan warna hijau. Hasil uji kuantitatif dengan 3 kali replikasi diperoleh rata-rata kadar kafein pada biji kopi arabika sebesar 142,90 mg. Kadar kafein pada biji kopi arabika baik dikonsumsi untuk kesehatan karena nilai kadar tidak melebihi standar SNI yaitu 150 mg/hari.

Abstract

Star fruit is a fruit that has been cultivated for a long time by Indonesian people. Star fruit plants consist of two types. Sweet starfruit and sour starfruit or wuluh, starfruit can be used as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. So further research needs to be carried out on testing the flavonoid content of ethanol extract of star fruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) using the UV-Vis spectrophotometric method. So that the potential for developing this plant as a medicinal ingredient for the prevention and treatment of various diseases can be increased. The aim of this study was to determine the levels of flavonoids in star fruit. This study used a sample of 3 kg of star fruit. Extraction using the maceration method with 96% ethanol solvent. Then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the research showed that the qualitative test with color reagents showed positive results of a brownish yellow color, there were flavonoid compounds in the star fruit, while the results of the quantitative test with UV- Vis spectophotometry showed levels of flavonoid compounds with an average of 0.4384% w/w or 4,384 mg/kg.

Abstract

Deodorant spray adalah produk kosmetik yang digunakan untuk menyerap keringat, manutup bau badan, dan mengurangi bau badan. Deodorant yang beredar dan digunakan masyarakat sebagian besar berbahan dasar sintesis. Penggunaan deodorant berbahan sintesis secara terus-menerus berdampak buruk bagi tubuh. Solusinya adalah dengan mengembangkan formulasi deodorant spray dengan zat aktif alami. Tea tree oil efektif sebagai antibakteri, yang dapat mengendalikan bau ketiak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri deodorant spray terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dan formula dengan konsentrasi tea tree oil yang dapat menghambat paling kuat. Metode penelitian ini eksperimental laboratorium. Formula deodorant menggunakan variasi konsentrasi tea tree oil yaitu 2% (F1), 3% (FII), dan 5% (FIII). Sediaan kemudian dilakukan evaluasi organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, viskositas, daya sebar, daya lekat, kejernihan, dan uji aktivitas antibakteri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketiga formula dapat menghambat Staphylococcus aureus, dibuktikan dengan adanya zona hambat. Formula terbaik deodorant spray yaitu F3 dengan konsentrasi tea tree oil 5% dengan zona hambat paling kuat yaitu 24, 6 mm.

Abstract

Brown rice (Oryza nivara S.D.Sharma & Shastry) is a rice variety that belongs to the Graminae family. Brown rice contains vitamins A, B, C, Zn and B complex. Vitamin B1 is one type of vitamin that is not stable. Its stability is influenced by pH, temperature and processing. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of vitamin B1 levels in brown rice and cooked brown rice. The study began with a qualitative test of vitamin B1 using 10% Pb acetate and 6 N NaOH if a yellow color and brown precipitate formed after heating, the sample was positive for vitamin B1. Determination of vitamin B1 levels in brown rice and cooked brown rice by alkalimetric method using NaOH as a titer that has been standardized in advance with potassium biftalat 0.1 N. Data analysis using the Mann Whitney test is an alternative to the Independent T-test if the t-test requirements are not met. The Mann Whitney test is used to determine whether or not there is a difference between two independent samples. The results of the qualitative test of vitamin B1 in brown rice and cooked brown rice showed that the samples were positive for vitamin B1. The quantitative test results of vitamin B1 levels in brown rice and cooked brown rice obtained an average of 12.40 mg / kg and 4.96 mg / kg. Statistical test results, the significance value (p) = 0.043, where p < 0.05 means there is a significant difference in vitamin B1 levels in brown rice and cooked brown rice. The conclusion of this study is that vitamin B1 levels in brown rice are higher than vitamin B1 levels in cooked brown rice.
