Abstract

Gerakan menulis buku bagi siswa ini sebagai upaya mendorong siswa untuk menulis apapun kegiatan yang mereka lakukan. Dengan adanya gerakan menulis buku bagi siswa di sekolah ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan gerakan literasi para warga sekolah. Tahapan pelaksanaan siswa menulis buku sains meliputi: 1) analisis situasi, 2) melakukan koordinasi untuk melaksanakan kegiatan, dan 3) pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan pada siswa. Gerakan menulis buku di sekolah memberikan kebermanfaatan salah satunya pada terpenuhinya beragam buku-buku yang ada diperpustakaan sekolah dan menjadikan siswa menjadi individu yang berdaya guna menghasilkan buku-buku yang dapat dijadikan sumber literasi bagi teman-temannya

Abstract

As Qur’an serve as guidance in Muslim life, it goes without saying that there is an obligation for parents to teach their children the ability to read the Islamic holy book. On the part of school institution, educators are expected to offer interesting teaching methods to read Qur’an so that they have an ease to acquire the ability. This study was aimed at investigating the relationship between teaching methods and students’ ability to read Qur’an.  This study applied an action research to explore practical problems and to find some solutions to the problems encountered. The research subjects were 283 students of class VII at SMPN (Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri/State Junior High School) 2 Porong. This study collected data through: survey, observation, and semi-structured interviews. The findings show that students’ ability to read Qur'an can be categorized into four levels namely: Ibtida 1, Ibtida 2, Jayyid, and Jayyid Jidan. Those four categories placed students based on their abilities in reading Qur’an. According to Pearson correlation, there was a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a linear relationship between the teaching methods and the students’ ability to read Qur'an. Following this result, some methods of learning to read Qur’an like Iqra, Tahqiq, Talaqqi  Mushafahah, and CMSA (Cara Mengaji Santri Aktif/an active way to read Qur’an for students) are in position to be applied in order to improve children’s Qur’an reading abilities.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan seluruh aktivitas daya penggerak pada diri siswa yang menimbulkan aktivitas belajar dan menjamin kelangsungan kegiatan belajar serta memberikan arahan pada kegiatan belajar. Motivasi belajar menjadi daya penggerak yang dapat mengarahkan siswa untuk mencapai tujuan atau sasaran yang ditetapkan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar adalah tujuan (goal setting). pembuatan tujuan menjadi suatu upaya penting dalam memaksimalkan motivasi , adanya pemahaman tentang tujuan sebagai suatu untuk digapai dapat menimbulkan minat yang lebih untuk belajar. Psikoedukasi yang dilakukan mendapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara sebelum dan setelah diberikan psikoedukais terkait goal setting dengan perbedaan reratanya adalah -16.000 (mean difference), t score = -8.263 dan p = 0.001 < 0.05. Berdasarkan perhitungan deskriptif didapatkan hasil bahwa nilai mean pretest sebesar 99.433 dan posttest sebesar 115.433 yang berarti bahwa motivasi belajar siswa memiliki nilai lebih tinggi setelah mendapatkan psikoedukasi terkait goal setting. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all activities in all fields, including the field of education. Early childhood education plays an important role in the mental and character formation of children. Parents must always update their knowledge to be able to educate and care for children according to age and development of the times. During the pandemic, the learning process at Aisyiyah Sukodono Kindergarten was mostly done online, this made it difficult for parents to accompany their children to study at home, besides that teachers had never received training on early detection of child development. This activity aims to optimize the skills of parents in caring for children according to age stages and empower teachers to be able to detect early development of their students. The Service Method is by providing counseling to the guardians of Aisyiyah Sukodono Sidoarjo Kindergarten students about positive parenting to optimize children's potential and providing training on early detection of child growth and development with a developmental pre-screening questionnaire (KPSP) for Aisyiyah Sukodono Sidoarjo Kindergarten teachers. This community service activity was attended by 23 parents and 8 teachers. Based on the results of the assessment before participating in parenting education activities, most of the parents (71%) had less knowledge about parenting, and after participating in the activity, most of the parents (54%) had good knowledge about parenting. Meanwhile, for teachers, before training all of them could not use KPSP and after training, all of them became able to use KPSP for early detection of developments. This shows that there is an increase in the knowledge of parents about child care and teachers are able to carry out early detection of developments with KPSP.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the description of the emotional intelligence of class XI students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo during face-to-face learning after online learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects in this study were class XI students, totaling 205 subjects with a description of how the emotional intelligence of class XI students was after online learning at home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses random sampling method. This research data collection tool uses a psychological scale, namely the emotional intelligence scale. This data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results of this study show that the emotional intelligence of class XI students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo is in the medium category but the percentage of female students has a higher score of 15% while the percentage of male students is 13%. Then for the highest emotional intelligence aspect value, namely managing one's own emotions by 29.94% and for the lowest emotional intelligence aspect value, namely recognizing other people's emotions by 11.57%. This shows that online learning at home can shape the process of emotional intelligence for students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo class XI

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making in students at SMK Pharmacy Cendekia Medika Nusantara Pandaan. The hypothesis proposed by the researcher is that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making in students at SMK Pharmacy Cendekia Medika Nusantara Pandaan. The quantitative method was chosen by the researcher to achieve the objectives of this study. Respondents in this study used a saturated sample by using the entire population to be used as a research sample. This study uses a self-efficacy scale and a career decision-making scale with reliability 0,819 and 0,767. The results of the product moment showed that the rxy correlation coefficient was 0.354 with a significance of 0.001 (P <0.05), meaning that there was a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making in students at the Mdika Nusantara Pandaan Pharmacy Scholar Vocational School. The effective contribution of self efficacy 12,5% towards career decision making. This means that there are 87,5% of other factors that influence outside the self-efficacy. Highlights: Positive relationship: The study establishes a positive correlation between self-efficacy and career decision making in students, suggesting that higher self-efficacy levels are associated with better career decision-making abilities. Quantitative method: The researcher employs a quantitative approach to gather and analyze data, providing numerical evidence for the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision making. Saturated sample: The study utilizes a saturated sample, involving the entire population of students at SMK Pharmacy Cendekia Medika Nusantara Pandaan, ensuring comprehensive representation for the research findings. Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of the Cinderella complex phenomenon which often occurs in students of SMK X. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and Cinderella complex in XI grade students of SMK X. This type of research used in this research is a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The variables contained in this study were self-concept as an independent variable and the Cinderella complex variable as the dependent variable. The population in this study was 380 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. Retrieval of data using a Likert scale model, namely a self-concept scale with a reliability value of 0,797 and a Cinderella complex scale with a reliability value of 0,856. Retrieving data using a Likert scale model, namely the self-concept scale and the Cinderella complex scale. The analysis in this study obtained a correlation coefficient (rxy) of -0.630 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that the hypothesis that has been proposed in this study is accepted, namely that there is a negative relationship between self-concept and Cinderella complex, which means that the higher the self-concept, the lower the Cinderella complex in class XI students of SMK X. Likewise, the lower the self-concept, the higher the Cinderella complex in class XI SMK X.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a procrastination behavior characterized by doing unimportant things instead of prioritizing more important tasks or activities. One of the triggers for academic procrastination is low self-regulation in learning. This can be minimized by providing training. The purpose of this research is to look at the effectiveness of self-regulated learning training on student procastination. The training participants were 55 students of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Reinforcement who took part in the Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) program. Data analysis using paired sample t test. The study used the pre-experimental design method in the form of one group pretest-posttest. The result is that there is a difference between the pretest and posttest of academic procrastination after being given self-regulated learning training, with a large effect of -0.426 which is included in the moderate category. It can be concluded that self-regulated learning training is effective in reducing academic procrastination

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya fenomena stres akademik yang dialami oleh siswa SMA X Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara berpikir positif dengan stres akademik pada siswa SMA X. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA X. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1.658 siswa, sehingga dari perhitungan menggunakan metode krejcie dan morgan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 310 siswa yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua skala psikologi yaitu skala berpikir positif dan skala stres akademik. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Spearman’s rho Correlations dan proses analisa ini menggunakan bantuan program JASP versi 0.13.1.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai r = -0.480 dan nilai p = 0,001 dimana 0,001 < 0,05 yang artinya ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara variabel berpikir positif dengan stres akademik pada siswa SMA X. Pengaruh berpikir positif terhadap stres akademik sebesar 33,1 %.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan faktor penting dalam kegiatan belajar karena dapat mendorong siswa untuk teribat dalam kegiatan belajar. Salah satu faktor yang dianggap penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar yaitu adanya goal setting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan goal setting terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa SMK Yapalis Krian Sidoarjo. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 68 siswa terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok treat berjumlah 34 siswa dan kelompok control 34 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode non-randomized control trial dengan desain yang digunakan pretest & posttest control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala adaptasi MSLQ (Motivated Strategies for Learning Questonnaire) dengan reabilitas sebesar 0.922. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Uji analisis Independet sample T-Tets dan Paired sample T-Test dengan menggunakan program JASP 0.16. Hasil penelitian ini menunjuukan terdapat perbedaan tingkat motivasi belajar siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan goal setting.
