Abstract

Rice fields in Wonorejo Village are rainfed rice fields where farmers rely on rainwater to grow crops. To solve this problem, some farmers drill well on their farms, and use submersible water pumps to lift up water to distributed to the rice fields. Prior to this community service activity, the operation of the submersible pump was manually controlled. This operation method had a drawback where excessive irrigation often occurred that could result on damage agricultural commodities, energy waste, and inefficient working time. This community service offers a solution by providing semi-automatic switching devices that will help to overcome this problem. The installed devices replace simple manual switching tools, in which some are in already less safety condition. The device is equipped with a timer that can be used to control the pump automatically as desired, an overload protection component, and equipped with indicator lights that indicate three conditions: the pump is on, the pump is off, and the occurrence of disturbances in pump operation. Evaluation on this community service activities evaluation shows all partners involved in this activity, appreciate this activity, and wanted to be continued in the future.

Abstract

Budidaya jangkrik merupakan salah satu jenis peternakan yang cukup menjanjikan. Tingginya kandungan gizinya membuat komoditas ini banyak dibutuhkan, misalnya sebagai makanan burung dan hewan lainnya. Meski prospek budidaya jangkrik cukup cerah, namun terdapat kendala alam yang dapat menghambatnya. Kendala tersebut adalah pengaruh kelembaban dan kondisi suhu ruangan kandang jangkrik yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan jangkrik. Selama ini kandang jangkrik yang dimiliki peternak mengikuti kondisi cuaca alam dan belum ada upaya pengendalian. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bermaksud untuk menerapkan hasil penelitian kepada masyarakat dengan membuat kandang jangkrik yang dilengkapi pengatur suhu dan kelembaban otomatis. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan tahapan-tahapan: survey lokasi, penyesuaian kandang sesuai kondisi lapangan, pelatihan mitra, dan pemberian kuesioner untuk evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Instalasi kandang di lapangan dan pelatihan mitra terlaksana dengan baik. Kandang yang terpasang menunjukkan performa yang baik dan dapat dioperasikan dengan mudah oleh mitra. Hasil kuisioner menunjukkan respon positif dari para peternak jangkrik sebagai mitra.

Abstract

One of the sign languages used in Indonesia is BISINDO (Indonesian Sign Language) created by the deaf. BISINDO is like the mother tongue for the deaf in Indonesia, although it is not as popular as SIBI (Indonesian Sign System). Therefore, the researchers propose to develop an Android-based prototype to promote BISINDO to others and help the deaf in daily communication. This prototype was built using coding in React Native framework and code editor of Visual Studio Code, then it was compiled to an Android Smartphone. The features include BISINDO's basic dictionary, translation from hand gesture to text, voice to sign language, text to sign language, and voice to text. This prototype is expected to introduce basic BISINDO vocabulary and practice using BISINDO. This prototype ia expected to be developed further into a more useful application, especially to assist communication between deaf people and the general public, but not as a substitution of BISINDO teachers.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the development of a WebGIS application for the Muhammadiyah Regional Board of Central Java as a monitoring tool for the organization's Key Performance Indicator. The initial phase of the project involved conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) to collect data regarding the organization's needs and requirements. Furthermore, the design process involved creating a comprehensive inventory of application functions and user interfaces. The use of WebGIS technology enables monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) and integration of spatial data. This enables more comprehensive visualization of performance data through interactive dashboards and spatial visualization. Further enhancements to the application were designed based on a thorough stakeholder review, taking into account comments obtained through the stakeholder review process. Once the application reached a satisfactory level of performance, it was formally introduced to stakeholders through a socialization process. The application was started and its security was verified using the reliable hypertext transfer protocol (HTTPS) via the URL https://kpi.pwmjateng.id. The implementation of the KPI monitoring tool based on WebGIS technology has yielded good results, and it is showing its success within the Muhammadiyah Regional Board of Central Java. Now, they can effectively monitor and track their indicators.

Abstract

The growing volume and complexity of network traffic have created new challenges in maintaining information security. Conventional signature-based intrusion detection systems are inadequate against modern threats, especially zero-day attacks that remain undocumented. Anomaly-based approaches using classical machine learning methods such as Support Vector Machine (SVM) show promise but still rely on manual feature engineering, which is time-consuming and requires expertise. This study proposes an anomaly detection system combining the automatic feature extraction capability of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with the strong classification performance of SVM. The NSL-KDD dataset is used for training, while real-time testing data are captured using Scapy. The system updates its analysis every five minutes, and detection results are presented as graphical reports and log tables sent to administrators via a Telegram Bot. Experimental results show that the hybrid CNN–SVM model achieves high accuracy and stable performance in real-time scenarios, contributing to more adaptive and intelligent intrusion detection.
