Abstract

Sahid Surakarta University (USS) is a private university education institution in Surakarta which located at AdiSucipto street No. 154 Jajar, Surakarta. USS has several study programs, one of them is business administration, this study program has been had a company profile as information system, the weakness of this system was the lack of information, one of the solutions to minimize the weakness is by making a website. The purpose of this study was produce a website to inform about Business Administration Study Program. In this study, the website used observation, interview, literature, and software development. It also used PHP (Pear Hypertext Prepocessor) in the programming and used CI (Code Eghniterl) in its framework, MySQL as its database server and to support the programming was also used software such as Notepad ++ and Macromedia Dreamweaver.The business administration study program’s wibsite was tested by using webqual method, this test obtained 30 respondents that got positive responses between usability to the visitors by generating the value of 0.080, and also got positive results between the information quality to the visitors with value of 0.271, and also got positive results between the interactions quality to visitors with a value of 0.648.

Abstract

Distro Ban is a store that specializes in selling motorcycle spare parts and services for the motor servicing. This shop every day to meet the needs of consumers,so the sale is the main thing in the store. Distro Ban in data processing workshop servicing and spare parts are still using manual way. All incoming and outgoinggoods data is recorded in the books, so the possibility of errors in the calculation and the  availability of existing stocks become inaccurate.Then design and analysis a system of data processing applications in the workshop and spare parts Distro Ban distributions computerized web-based php. Theaim of this study is to design and analysis the transaction systems and computerized data items. The benefit is that the data produced is more accurate, effective andreduce errors in the reporting of data as well as to monitor the inventory of existing stock. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation and library research.

Abstract

The learning process in informatics department at Sahid University of Surakarta, the material of subject is distributed manually by copying file with the flash(disk) or use the book/ learning module teaching. Based on these problems, the writer build the mobile learning based on android as solution of these problem. The purpose of this study is build the mobile learning based on android to facilitate lecturers in presenting the materials to students using the smartphone so that will support the learning process in informatics department at Sahid University of Surakarta. The mobile learning application based on android is using object-oriented programming method, implemented by using java programing language, the application server is using databased based on web, and the system testing is using blackbox testing method. This mobile learning application had the features to facilitate students for downloading the required materials or facilitate student to looking for a materials that can be read anytime and anywhere. Otherwise it would be easier for the lecturers in the content of subject by uploading the files so that students can access the material via smartphone.   Based on the results of testing mobile applications learning outcomes that have been tested 100% run functionally assessed by looking at the results of tests conducted of three university students by using an Android device with 3 different smarthpone OS, it can be concluded that the speed of opening the main menu can be known that average of loading time (±0, 59s), speed of access (±6, 32s), and download speeds (±9s).

Abstract

Lecture Scheduling System STIE Wijaya Mulya Surakarta currently using amanual system in which all of the input data and the scheduling process is done manually so it is less efficient because it requires a relatively long time. Scheduling oflectures conducted by the head of each department of study programs in Accounting and Management. Print schedule of lectures conducted by using Ms. Word. Manuallyscheduling process allows for human error, which can lead to conflicting schedules classes in the absence of validation when scheduling process.The purpose of this study was to develop a system of scheduling lectures there on STIE Wijaya Mulya Surakarta. The system developed is scheduling classes that werepreviously done manually, converted into the form of an application program to be run by the Administration section. This change is necessary in order to simplify, speed upand minimize errors in the process of scheduling lectures are often encountered in scheduling system manually. System development using a structured method. The system is built to match the needs STIE Wijaya Mulya Surakarta. The system is built by using Visual Basic 6.0 andMySQL as the database. The system is equipped with validation in the process of scheduling so as to minimize errors when inputting data or when the schedulingprocess. This system has been tested using blackbox methods and software quality measurement in this study using the method of McCall with the value 78.817%.From the test results, this system is expected to facilitate and expedite the scheduling of lectures that can be applied to STIE Wijaya Mulya Surakarta.

Abstract

Learning media used for teaching in SD Negeri Sumber 1 Surakarta by the teachers is still conventionally done which are using lectures, and props with the globe. So the students still find it hard to understand the topic, such as the difficulty to distinguish between the bay with a cape. Web-based learning media is an alternative  method for interactive learning. The students will be more engaged when assisted with a number of media that supports the interaction process that is being implemented within the capturing of the educational messages conveyed by presenting interesting teaching materials such as the usage of pictures, animation, and video to actively participate in the learning process. The planning of this research is to develop learning media about Earth’s surface using PHP programming language and MySQL database. This design of thisapplication is using UML. The study was conducted using the methodology, ie observation, interview and references. Waterfall method is used as applicationdevelopment method. The testing method used in this research is the Black Box method. The test result indicates that the system is running well.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is one of the subjects is be taught in SMA. These subjects are learning about computer basic operations, computersoftware, computer hardware, CorelDraw graphic design, internet introduction, computer networks etc. In ICT subjects students use the package book as a learningsupport, in the book there are many computer terms in it. The many existing computer terms make some students have difficulty to understanding the subjects matter, because not all the computer terms are described in the package book.The purpose of this research is to design the dictionary applications of computer terms based Android. The design of application system using UML (Unified ModelingLanguage). The research object in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Kartasura. The dictionary applicationsdesign of computer term have generated consists of formain menu that is a list menu of terms, menu of guide, menu of about, and menu ofschool profiles are user friendly and very helpful to students in studying ICT subjects.

Abstract

Outpatient information system is a system that provides information in the form of data in matters relating to outpatient. Outpatient services for patients are observation,diagnosis, treatment, medical rehabilitation and other health care services without a stay at the hospital. This resulted in a research of design and analysis system outpatient clinic Pratama Panti Waluyo Surakarta-based web. The research methodology used is the interview, observation, literature. Development is a process that is in all of these systems are displayed in one tab, input management of medical record and sales of automatic logging of drug registration of patients, the addition of the financial reports for the needs of the Central  Administration and report medical record based on the name of the doctor that can be accessed by Admins and the officer of the clinic, as well as the look of the website were made more attractive.

Abstract

These subjects are learning about computer basic operations, computer software, computer hardware, CorelDraw graphic design, internet introduction, computer networks etc. In ICT subjects students use the package book as a learning support, in the book there are many computer terms in it. The many existing computer terms make some students have difficulty to understanding the subjects matter, because not all the computer terms are described in the package book. The purpose of this research is to build the dictionary applications of computer terms based Android. The design of application system using UML (Unified ModelingLanguage), applications manufacture using software programming Notepad + + and Eclipse, while for applications development using waterfall method and system testingusing five view method. The dictionary applications of computer term have generated consists of for main menu that is a list menu of terms, menu of guide, menu of about, and menu of school profiles are user friendly and very helpful to students in studying ICT subjects.  Applications are tested on Android smartphones with the same specifications but different version of the operating system, Smartfren Andromax L from the nine tested features result in an average application load speed of two point three seconds,  Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime from the nine tested features result in an average application load speed two point eight seconds, and Samsung Galaxy J5 from the nine tested features result in an average application load speed of two point six seconds and all features running well.

Abstract

This research is a research related to how to utilize digital media technology through multimedia applications "MITA THERAPY AUTISM",so that it can be used by educators,to be applied as an application in supporting and optimizing therapeutic methods for children with special needs with autism disorders.This research was carried out directly in the scope of PLDPI SURAKARTA. Achievements obtained from the results of this study that the design can be used by teachers and have a positive effect on the development of students who experience autism disorders.In this research process, several suggestions and conclusions were made that the design and implementation of multimedia application-based learning can be used as a means to support learning and therapy needs for children with needs who experience autism disorders, especially in helping to increase the visual comprehension of students.

Abstract

In order to get the characteristics of excellent service, the academic services at Sahid University Surakarta carried out by academic staff need to be improved through a training. This training was held with the aim of improving the competence and ability of academic staff in utilizing digital technology and improving office application skills to improve the quality of academic services. The method of service applied is the method of mentoring. Participants are trained directly and assisted in carrying out their work. The results of this community service activity are an increase in participants' understanding and skills in utilizing digital technology to support academic services, the ability of participants to successfully install and configure computer devices needed to support academic services, and awareness of the importance of improving skills in managing digital technology can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of academic services.
