Abstract

The role of information is increasingly needed to support an activity. In line with the development of information technology both hardware and software is rapidly increasing, then it should be an institution  can take advantage of advances in information technology. One form of utilization is for the development of information systems that can support the activities of employees in making a decision. With this system, the activity of employees in an institution can be optimally and efficiently so as to increase productivity.  Integrated Activity  Information  Systems  Employee of  Sahid Surakarta University  is a software  for data processing  activities of  employees  and lecturer university  Sahid  Surakarta. Functions that  any  activities at  the University of Sahid Surakarta both outside and inside the campus can be controlled so as to minimize conflict of schedule.

Abstract

The analysis result in college Surakarta shows that there is 42 college in evaluasi.dikti.go.id. Base on 42 colleges which are taken for sampling with confidence interval 70% , it results 9 colleges. The results of analysis shows that the user is quite satisfied with distribution scale 2.18. It is resulted from the simple linear regression model Y= 2.0617+0.0025x. The constant 2.0617 means bandwidth is also still constant with the value 2.0617. The satisfaction of Coefficient value to ward the internet user is 0.0025. It means that there is an  each increasing bandwidth of internet user 1(kbps). Therefore, it causes 0.0025 satisfaction increasing value. The conclusion of this research is bandwidth capacity that less than 145 kbps categories as quite satisfied, 180-460 kbps is satisfied and  more 495 kbps is very satisfied. Abstract

The Library of Sahid University at Surakarta still used a manual data processing system by a human. This procedures has some weakness,  specially mistake error and used a long time during searching or recording the data.The purpose of this research is to develop the information and data processing system at Sahid University Library. The system that been developed is information and data processing that previously done by human converted to computer based system. These changes are necessary to facilitate data processing and presentation of information properly in order to avoid the weakness a manual system. This research use an object methode, that built depend on library necessary both visitors and library staff. A system can be called qualified if it meets several criteria of quality. Software quality measurement in this study using McCall methodes   with  five factors include of  correctness, reliability, eficiency, usability and maintenance. This methode had chosen because of this methode is familiar and good to measure the quality of software. The resulting product of this research is library information system based from the object that built depend on library necessary. The advantages of this system is more easy to finding a book or catalog like borrowing or repayment transactions, input of book data and member and also more easy to make the reports. Finally, the result is the system with McCall methodes have 77,151% total quality, that means this system can be applied at Sahid University Library to simplify the data processing and presentation all about Library information.

Abstract

E-mail is a service have the shape of electronic mail message with fixed format that accepted and sent over the internet network with certain rule. E-mail Server, or Mail Server is application that handle delivery process and acceptance of e-mail message. At this research built E-mail Server with web base client e-mail and E-mail Server system uses Linux Fedora 7 as the server operating system, with MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) qmail that recognized rely on have speed and high security level as the E-mail Server application and MUA (Mail User Agent) Squirrelmail as the web based client e-mail. MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) is E-mail Server application that used to handle delivery process and e-mail acceptance.  Web base mail is web base client e-mail functioned as  the link bridge between user and E-mail Server machine pass by web browser. In this research conducted assessment and data arrest with method of literature study at various of sources either from book or browsing in internet hits MTA qmail, MUA Squirrelmail, IMAP, Web Server Apache, and DNS Server BIND. In other hand also conducted observation method to E-mail Server system, and use experiment method till got result the most maximal. Intention of research this is the creation of a reliable  E-mail Server system that can provide e-mail service for academic person at Sahid University of Surakarta with address  http://mail.usahidsolo.ac.id,  to support academic activity in Sahid University of Surakarta.  Final conclusion from this research based on study analysis elegibility subyektif user in random sampling by using four assessment aspects, that is e-mail service helps study, easy e-mail service is understood, easy to operate e-mail service, and display aspect webmail. Can be concluded that the usage of E-mail Server for e-mail service in Sahid University of Surakarta is good.

Abstract

Intranet is a network of workstations with a local scale without connected to the Internet, while the samba is a set of applications that communicate with Server Massage Block protocol (SMB). SMB is the data communication protocol that provides file and printer sharing and other tasks associated with network.  Thesis  contains intranet network design for learning at Sahid University in Surakarta, using open source software.  This research is limited only to the side of applying the samba server in the server for sharing files in order to optimize the learning system on the USS. In this samba server user can have a folder on the samba server. Each user also can log on to domain  through the computer any windows that are important in a network. The process of authentication and authorization provided by the samba server as a domain controller in that domain.  This research uses experimental methods in which the writer tries to design a network built on the intranet for learning where teachers could USS distribute materials, substances or value assignment to the students without having to directly face to face. To download a user can enter the application programs run on windows or go into explore menu typing in the address samba server address and the destination for uploading user can use Total Commander application. Sharing a folder so can be done on the Linux operating system and Windows so the two operating systems can communicate with each other to enhance our learning in the USS.

Abstract

Todoyu  is  a  web  based  system  for  project  management,  time  tracking,  and  billing agencies  specifically  tailored  to  the  needs  of  small-medium  sized  services  such  as lawyers,  engineers  and  architects,  services,  advertising  and  PR  agencies.  Todoyu improve  billing  accuracy  and  timeliness,  saving  companies  time  and  money,  and remove  the  risk  of  the  billing  process.  The  final  task  is  to  develop  the  CMS  Todoyu Todoyu CMS Version 2.3 Indonesia. The achievement  of this final project is described as follows: (1) The development of the final project successfully added language option Indonesia the Local Package. (2) The development of the final project is successfully making Todoyu responsive CMS display when accessed from mobile devices. (3) Based on the results of testing the system on this final can be concluded that the development of this project is based on the F test with 0,025 siknifikansi meningkatkat WebQual total assessment score, while the T test based on variable Usability improved quality.

Abstract

Mascom  computer  store  is  one  of  the  stores  that  serve  to  sale  and  purchase  of computers.  The process  in  selling  notebook, process  there is a problem in the  service to the customer.  The  officer  find  difficulty  in  selling  notebook to work  customer questions that are ambiguous.  Of the handle the problem in answering customer questions  uses fuzzy logic. The uses  fuzzy  logic  based  on,  the  concept  of  fuzzy  logic,  is  easy  to  understand  ,  very  flexible logic  ,  on  has  the  tolerance  of  unpropriate  among  other.  In  this  final  project  development system of waterfall method un structure based design is used. Decision support system was made by using Visual Basic 6. This decision support system helps in notebook selling that are ambigious  becomes  easier  to  understand  for  the  customer.  This  result  of  final  project  is application that can be used by Mascom in decesing notebook for customer.Keyword:

Abstract

Selogiri  sub district is one of tourism destination in  Wonogiri  district ,  both local tourism of foreign travelers. tourism destination is divided into three catagories there are general tourism , cultural tourism and culinary tourism. tourism  promotions that have  been  done  by  departement  of  tourism  in   Wonogiri  only  uses  brochures   and advertisements.The objective in making this information system is to make a media of tourism promotion in order to know by the public through the website. method  of design system uses system design based on object. meanwhile information system is made by using PHP and MySQL as a database. the result of website from the research contains information about tourism in Selogiri subdistrict. information system is tested by using WebQual  method. the tested result of show 81,1 %, it means that tourism website of Selogiri subdistrict is stated as good.

Abstract

Puskesmas  Teras,  bekerja  sebagai  salah  satu  instansi  kesehatan  di  wilayah  Boyolali,  mempunyai banyak  pasien  yang  mengambil  obat  setiap  hari.  Tidak  bisa  dipungkiri,  bahwa  pelayanan  kesehatan  di Puskesmas Teras harus ditingkatkan, mulai dari pelayanan ketika pasien melakukan pendaftaran, kemudian melakukan  pemeriksaan  kesehatan,  sampai  pasien  menerima  resep  dan  mengambil  obat  yang  dibutuhkan oleh pasien. Masalah yang muncul di Puskesmas Teras dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan pasien, ketika data pasien  yang  dibutuhkan  dalam  proses  pelayanan  pasien  masih  disimpan  secara  manual,  yang  sering menyebabkan  kesalahan  dalam  melihat  data  pasien.  Data  pasien  disimpan  dalam  arsip,  sehingga menyebabkan  tumpukan  data  keamanan  data  kurang  terjamin,  pelaksanaan  laporan  harian  dan  laporan bulanan yang membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan sering terjadi kesalahan penulisan dan kasus penghitungan masalah di Puskesmas. Keuntungan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu proses pelayanan kesehatan atas pasien yang membutuhkan data-data di setiap proses, dan memberikan layanan yang lebih cepat, efektif dan efisien serta mendukung proses data dan masukan data pasien. Sistem Komputerisasi dan Pengolahan Data diharapkan dapat membantu Dan memudahkan pengguna untuk melayani pasien yang akan mengambil obat atau pemeriksaan kesehatan, seperti dalam mencari data pasien lebih cepat dan akurat, sehingga dapat mendukung perkembangan informasi Sistem pelayanan pasien di puskesmas Teras.

Abstract

In 2016, Sahid Surakarta University uses internet access with bandwidth capacity  of 15 Mbps, it is obtained from the internet service provider (ISP) and uses Mikrotik  Router as a server. Through bandwidth capacity increasing, the allocation for computer  laboratory also increased to 2 Mbps so it needs proper bandwidth management that the  distribution of bandwidth separates all the computers at the computer laboratory  equally. The methods of the research were observation, interview, and review the  literatures before implementation. This research was carried out for comparative analysis of two queuing technique. They are Simple Queue and Queue Tree with  Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) system. Besides the implementation uses Mikrotik  Router OS, the comparison was performed based on four parameters of Quality of  Service (QoS) in TIPHON standard, they are throughput, delay , jitter, and packet loss.   Tests was performed by 5 client with 5 times of testing for each client. Data collecting  was implemented to determine the value of the QoS parameters by Wireshark Network  Analyzer when download and upload data simultaneously on an FTP server using  FileZilla Client. The results Simple Queue and Queue Tree when uploading data produces a  satisfactory value with the index 3.5. Throughput value for Simple Queue and Queue Tree is 75%. Simple Queue has the advantage on delay and jitter parameters, it is 55.11  ms (Simple Queue) than 55.47 ms (Queue Tree) for delay and 55.10 ms (Simple Queue)   than 55.46 ms (Queue Tree) for jitter. The results queuing system when download is  higher than the upload that is 3.75. It includes a category satisfying. Simple Queue has  an advantage in throughput (84%), delay (28.72 ms), and jitter (28.72 ms), Queue Tree  has a throughput value (81%), delay (29.72 ms), and jitter (29 , 72 ms).
