Abstract

The purpose of the research is for the development of authentic assessments of differentiated learning settings in distance learning to realize legitimate, reliable, objectiv and practical learning freedom. The Development Model of the assessment tool used in this study refers to the 4-D model consisting of defining, designing, developing, and deploying as discovered by Thiagarajan. The subjects in this study included 40 students of class VII of PGRI Mawah Junior High School. The trial was conducted using a pre-experimental design type one-shot case study. Data analysis techniques use qualitative descriptive. Instrument validation by experts and education practitioners using check list sheets with a likert scale of 1 (very lacking) – 4 (excellent). The test before the trial uses the validity formula of Gregory's contents, while the validity test after the trial (empirical validity) uses SPSS software with bivariate pearson analysis. Test the reliability, objectivity and practicality of the instrument using SPSS. Authentic assessment of differentiated learning settings in distance learning to realize independent learning both use guidelines and authentic assessment tools and instruments meet valid, reliable, objective and practical criteria for use because they have gone through revisions and trials.

Abstract

This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to improve Mathematics learning outcomes in statistics material for grade VI students of SD Negeri 9 Maluku Tengah, Pulau Haruku District through the application of the Jigsaw learning model. The study was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle including the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the average student learning outcome was 69.02 with a completion rate of 52.95% (9 students completed) and 47.05% (8 students did not complete). In cycle II, the average learning outcome increased to 76.66 with a completion rate of 88.24% (15 students completed) and only 11.76% (4 students did not complete). This increase of 7.64% was influenced by factors such as increased student attendance, activeness in listening to teacher explanations, and focus on understanding the material and solving problems. In addition, student involvement in asking, answering, and expressing opinions creates a more conducive and effective learning atmosphere. Thus, the application of the Jigsaw learning model in this study has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The application of discovery learning model in integer number material class VII SMP Alwathan Ambon. The research subjects were the seventh grade students of Alwathan Ambon Junior High School with a total of 30 students consisting of 16 boys and 14 girls. This research was conducted in class VII of Alwathan Ambon Junior High School on November 23 - December 23, 2022. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. Data analysis was processed using quantitative analysis to obtain the final score. The results of the study of students' cognitive scores before the application of the dicavery learning model found 5 students who were complete (17%), and those who were not complete were 25 students (83%). After applying the dicavery learning model, it can be seen that in cycle I there were 14 students who were complete (47%) and 16 students who were not complete (53%). In cycle II there were 28 students who were complete (93%) and 2 students who were not complete (7%). So the results showed that the discavery learning model can improve the learning outcomes of VII grade students of Alwathan Ambon Junior High School in the subject of integers.

Abstract

The global halal economy continues to expand rapidly, creating a pressing demand for reliable and technology-driven quality management systems. However, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia’s island regions face major constraints in ensuring consistent halal assurance due to limited resources, geographic isolation, and dependence on manual processes. This study proposes an IoT-based integrated production and quality control system tailored for halal SMEs in island settings. The framework integrates Total Quality Management (TQM), Halal Assurance System (HAS), and Industry 4.0 technologies. Using sensors to monitor temperature, humidity, and weight—connected to a cloud dashboard—the system enables real-time monitoring, traceability, and halal compliance. A prototype was implemented in fish processing SMEs in Maluku, Indonesia. Results show improvements in production efficiency (15%), product consistency (20%), and halal documentation readiness. The findings confirm that IoT integration strengthens halal assurance and offers a scalable digital transformation model for island-based halal industries worldwide.

Abstract

The use of technology in education is essential, especially in supporting the vision of the Kurikulum Merdeka. However, at SD Negeri 1 Liang, the use of interactive media based on Canva for Education has not been fully optimized. Through this community service program, teachers were trained to design digital modules using the platform. As a result, 100% of the 14 teachers successfully created simple animations after the training. They also worked in groups according to their subjects to produce digital learning modules. These educational products were stored on flash drives and CDs for classroom use. The training received positive feedback from participants, with evaluations showing a satisfaction rate of 92.85%. The teachers agreed that the training enriched their knowledge of creating engaging and enjoyable learning modules. The training used interactive methods, including Kahoot games and icebreakers, which motivated and energized participants. Additionally, supporting facilities like internet connection, laptops, and other devices functioned well, contributing to the success of the training. This training has proven effective in fostering teachers, creativity and motivating them to innovate in their teaching practices.
