Abstract

Kurangnya minat siswa dalam mempelajari matematika disebabkan karena pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan guru masih konvensional sehingga menyebabkan siswa tidak tertarik untuk mempelajari matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif dapat mempengaruhi  minat belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi  eksperimen nonequivalent control group.  Hasil penelitian diperoleh peningkatan aspek minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika yang ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata persentase setiap indikator pada kelas eksperimen yaitu indikator perhatian sebesar 83%, indikator ketertarikan sebesar 75%, dan indikator keterlibatan siswa sebesar 70%, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol menunjukkan rata-rata presentse setiap indikator yaitu indikator perhatian sebesar 47%, indikator ketertarikan sebesar 44%, dan indikator keterlibatan sebesar 44%. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pembentukan minat belajar siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran.

Abstract

Online learning conducted in some university  as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic can be said to be a fairly new learning model. It is necessary to know the students’ perception toward the online learning. Therefore, this quantitative and qualitative descriptive study aimed at describing students’ perceptions of online learning based on their experiences in participating in the online model learning and how the online learning meet their learning needs and expectations. Questionnaires given to 142 students at the Faculty of Information Technology in a private university in Central Java  were used to collect data, besides interviews and focus group discussion also employed for deeper understanding of student experiences in online learning. The results showed that there was a positive response from students towards online learning. The online learning that had been implemented could accommodate most of students’ learning needs and expectations. However, this was strongly influenced by the role of the lecturer in organizing and packaging the online learning. In addition, it required habituation and the ability of students to study independently. The existence of a learning community in online learning was also a factor that can support students’ success in participating at the online learning. Technical problems in form of equipment availability and inadequate internet access were the main obstacles in the implementation of online learning. Hopefully, the research results can be used to improve and develop an effective online learning in higher education in the future.

Abstract

Central Java Province is one of provinces in Indonesia that has a high aridity risk index. Aridity disaster risk monitoring and detection can be done more accurately in larger areas and with lower costs if the vegetation index is extracted from the remote sensing imagery. This study aims to provide accurate aridity risk index information using spectral vegetation index data obtained from LANDSAT 8 OLI satellite. The classification of drought risk areas was carried out using k-nn with the Spatial Autocorrelation method. The spectral vegetation indices used in the study are NDVI, SAVI, VHI, TCI and VCI. The results show a positive correlation and trend between the spectral vegetation index influenced by seasonal dynamics and the characteristics of the High R.A. and Middle R.A. drought risk areas. The highest correlation coefficient is SAVI with a High R.A. amounted to 0.967 and Middle R.A. amounted to 0.951. The results of the Kappa accuracy test comparison show that SVM and k-nn have the same accuracy of 88.30. The result of spatial prediction using the IDW method shows that spectral vegetation index data that initially as an outlier, using the k-nn method, the spectral vegetation index data can be identified as data in the aridity classification. The spatial connectivity test among sub-districts that experience drought was done using Moran’s I Analysis.

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) stated that COVID-19 was a pandemic that has spread to all countries in the world. It has resulted on limited interaction activities and social groups meetings. The education sector is directly affected by the policy of limiting community physical interaction, so that the learning process is fully transformed into the form of online learning. The purpose of this research is to find out the challenges and opportunities in the online learning process that has been implemented during the covid-19 pandemic. The method in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method by describing the online learning process that has been implemented. The subjects in the study were students and teachers of Satya Wacana Lab High School Salatiga. Analysis of the data used in this study is to triangulate data consisting of data from observations, interviews and field observations. The results of the study showed that the online learning process had challenges in terms of the availability of qualified technology such as electronic devices in the learning process, internet networks, and students’ and teachers’ readiness in facing online learning. While the opportunities from the online learning process that have been implemented are directly familiarizing students to practice independently in the learning process, and from the teacher's side, encouraging teachers to master technology and innovate in the learning process so that it would be more varied and effective.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out the effect of education services quality, school cultures, and school images toward parental satisfactions. This study is a quantitative study using path analysis to find out the effect of each variable on parental satisfactions. This study used questionnaires, interviews and documentation instruments. The subjects on this study were parents. The results on this study showed that there were positive influences of educational services quality, school cultures, and school images on parental satisfactions. it shows the effect of 60.7% and 40.3% is influenced by other factors. The findings on this study are educational service satisfactions which has the biggest role in parental satisfactions, followed by school cultures and school images.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the SI SAGU Academic Supervision (Information System for Teacher Academic Supervision) model in the academic supervision process in the 3T (Foremost, Outermost, Disadvantaged) area in Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The research method used in this research is a quantitative research method by testing the SI SAGU Academic Supervision model used in the academic supervision process in the 3T area. The research subjects in this study were teachers, principals, and school supervisors in Bengkayang Regency. The instruments used in the study were practical questionnaires and interview guidelines. The instrument used has gone through validation and testing by expert validators, so it is feasible to be used in the research process. The data collection technique in this study was documentation of the results of observations, then giving a perception questionnaire to the SAGU SI users consisting of teachers, school principals, and school supervisors. The results showed that the Teacher Academic Supervision Management Information System (SI SAGU) was effectively used in the academic supervision process in the 3T area, namely Bengkayang Regency. Through SI SAGU, the supervision process can be carried out even though there are some geographical constraints and access to each school. The findings in this study are the effectiveness of the application of SISAGU in the 3T area in the academic supervision process, supported by the active participation and enthusiasm of all relevant stakeholders, namely teachers, schools, principals, school supervisors, and the education office.

Abstract

Team Games Tournament (TGT) as one of cooperative learning models could increase students skills but, this learning model need much time in implementation like grouping students and calculating tournament points. Web based cooperative learning application that designed in this research using TGT model. This application simplify implementation of TGT model because, students grouping will done in virtual mode and the application will automatically calculate tournament points. This application easy in use and quite effective.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSalah satu keuntungan dari pelaksanaan Corporate Social Responsibility, reputasi perusahaan akan semakin baik sehingga loyalitas konsumen makin tinggi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pada aspek environmental sustainability terhadap reputasi perusahaan Grand Hyatt Bali. Desain penelitian yang digunakan berdasarkan tujuan adalah penelitian eksplanatori dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah masyarakat yang ada di Desa Bualu, Kabupaten Badung. Jumlah penduduk Desa Bualu berdasarkan adalah 9521. Berdasarkan pendekatan dari sampel Krejcie dan Morgan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 274 responden. Hasil penelitian menganalisis tentang hubungan 3P (Planet, People dan Profit) terhadap reputasi perusahaan. Aspek planet dan people dari implementasi CSR di pantai Benoa memiliki pengaruh signifkan terhadap reputasi perusahaan Grand Hyatt Bali. Aspek profit pada environmental sustainability CSR pelaksanaan beach cleaning oleh Grand Hyatt Bali tidak memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap reputasi perusahaan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh perusahaan tidak secara langsung memberikan dampak keuntungan, namun murni karena tanggung jawab sosial.Kata Kunci: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental Sustainability, Reputasi Perusahaan. ABSTRACTOne of the advantages of implementing Corporate Social Responsibility, the company's reputation will be better so that customer loyalty is higher. The study aims to examine the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on environmental sustainability aspects of the Grand Hyatt Bali company's reputation. The research design that is used based on the objectives is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. In this research, the population is the people in Bualu Village, Badung Regency. The population-based on Bualu Village is 9521. Based on the approach of the Krejcie and Morgan sample, 274 respondents were obtained. The results of the study analyzed the relationship of 3P (Planet, People, and Profit) to the company's reputation. The planetary and people aspects of implementing CSR on the Benoa beach have a significant influence on the Grand Hyatt Bali company's reputation. The profit aspect of CSR environmental sustainability in implementing beach cleaning by Grand Hyatt Bali has no significant relationship to the company's reputation. That is because the activities carried out by the company do not directly provide a profit impact, but purely due to social responsibility.Keywords: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental Sustainability, Company Reputation

Abstract

This research objective is to analyze students’ learning independence in the moodle-based learning at SWCU F-learn. This is a qualitative research by looking for the root of the research problem so that it can produce research findings. The subjects of this study were students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education which consisted of 20 students and then 3 subjects were selected with certain criteria. The research instrument used in this study were learning independence questionnaire, interview guidelines, and observation of the implementation of learning through Moodle. The validity and reliability of the instrument were reached by the validation from expert validators. The research was carried out by distributing questionnaires to students related to learning independence, then from students who had high, medium, and low learning independence, in-depth interviews and observations of the learning process were carried out through lectures. The data analysis used qualitative analysis by triangulating data sources, namely from questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The learning independence is the result of several integrated factors such as learning motivation, learning objectives, learning strategies, and self-evaluation. Subjects with low learning independence were caused by low learning motivation so that they did not have clear goals for the targets to be achieved. Subjects with moderate independence had good learning motivation but lack of follow-up and implications, so that less improvements were made. Meanwhile, subjects with high learning independence had high learning motivation and awareness, were able to design learning targets and make improvements simultaneously. In general, online-based learning using the Moodle/Flearn system requires good learning independence so that learning goals and achievements can run.
