Abstract

The modern political thought in the Islamic world has developed since the Islamic countries came into contact with the Western world, especially when the Islamic world fell into the Western imperialism. There are three factors influencing the contemporary Islamic thought: the decline of the Islamic world caused by the internal factors; the Western harassment toward the integration of political regional power in the Islamic world; and the Western supremacy in science, technology, and organization.Three factors undoubtly influence the orientation of the Islamic political thinkers in facing the new era. However, it is also these three factors that cause the diversity of the Islamic political thoughts with modern perception. How have the Islamic political thinkers behaved to the phenomena? This paper is trying to find out the leading thread of the political patterns that have developed since that era. Keyword : Modern political, Islamic world, western world

Abstract

AbstrakDaya ingat setiap anak tentu memiliki perbedaan dikarenakan beberapa faktor. Hal tersebut menyebabkan seorang tenaga pendidik harus lebih diperhatikan lagi dalam memahami kondisi kognitif anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak penerapan model pembelajaran Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) terhadap peningkatan daya ingat anak sehingga dapat ditemukan bahwa pemilihan model pembelajaran juga berpengaruh dalam upaya peningkatan daya ingat anak. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data lewat observasi atau pengamatan langsung terhadap suatu objek dan studi literatur. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah pemilihan model pembelajaran pada anak berpengaruh dalam mengasah daya ingat anak terhadap suatu pembelajaran. Dan daya ingat anak bisa berbeda-beda dikarenakan beberapa faktor seperti lingkungan, latar belakang keluarga, atau bahkan dari individu itu sendiri.Kata Kunci  : Daya ingat, Model pembelajaran, Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetik.    AbstractThe memory of each child certainly has differences due to several factors. This causes an educator to pay more attention to understanding the cognitive condition of children. This study aims to determine the impact of the application of the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on improving children's memory so that it can be found that the selection of learning models also has an effect on efforts to improve children's memory. The method used in this research is qualitative by collecting data through observation or direct observation of an object and literature study. The results obtained are the selection of learning models in children has an effect on sharpening children's memory of a lesson. And children's memory can vary due to several factors such as the environment, family background, or even from the individual himself.Keywords: Memory, learning model, Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic.

Abstract

This research aims to describe multicultural values ​​in the Lebaran tradition of the Betawi community and the process of revitalizing multicultural values. The this time the attitude of empathy, tolerance, social solidarity, equality and justice began to reduce along with the fulfillment of biological needs and egocentric attitudes. Betawi people have a local tradition to be used as a standard for life, religion and community. The local traditions that continues to this day is the lebaran tradition or "celebrating Eid al-Fitr". The term lebaran is an acculturation of Javanese culture, Chinese, and Islam. The multicultural values ​​in the lebaran tradition of the Betawi community include: First accepting differences, is to allow people to visit without considering ethnicity, and religion and social strata. Second generous attitude, is to give food and drink to every guest who comes. Third empathy attitude, is forgive each other for family and neighbors. Conservation of the lebaran tradition is the obligation of the Betawi community and the regional government of DKI Jakarta. Revitalizing multicultural values ​​in the Lebaran tradition of the Betawi people. through: religious ceremonies, and the implementation of religious holidays. The revitalization factor are two: the motive of cause and achieving the goal.

Abstract

In contemporary preaching, the use of media is very important and necessary to encourage Muslims to consistently listen to sermons. Felix Siauw and Hanan Attaki conduct their preaching through social media (microcelebrity). This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to answer the researcher's questions about the use of social media as a medium for preaching, the preaching style and messages of Felix Siauw and Hanan Attaki through social media, and the impact and influence of their preaching (microcelebrity) on their followers. The research results show that Felix Siauw and Hanan Attaki also have distinct preaching styles. For example, Felix Siauw focuses more on discussing current political and social issues, while Hanan Attaki emphasizes the development of an individual's spirituality, especially among the younger generation. Both have successfully attracted a large following through relevant content, engaging communication styles, and the use of technology

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the internet and social media play an important role in many ways. The rise of various social media platforms has paved the way for preachers to preach virtually, with target audiences such as Generation Z teenagers. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of digital da'wah in shaping religious understanding and awareness for Generation Z teenagers. Digital da'wah, which involves platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Spotify, is the main channel in spreading religious messages to Generation Z teenagers. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach and in-depth interviews with Generation Z teenagers who actively access social media. The results showed that digital da'wah plays a major role in improving adolescents' religious understanding, providing easy access to religious materials, and shaping positive behavior in accordance with Islamic values. However, challenges such as content that is not in accordance with religious teachings, as well as the influence of social media that can affect the mindset of teenagers, also need attention.

Abstract

This research aims to show the extent to which Islamic Religious Education (PAI) contributes to the development of tolerant student character at Jakarta State University (UNJ). This research uses a qualitative approach using library research methods (library study). to analyze character development in the practice of religious activities in the school environment. The research results show that strong character development occurs through religious practices at school which strengthen students' character. This research concludes that although Islamic religious education has a very important role in forming a tolerant character, it needs to be supported by various other efforts from both the school and the students themselves.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in PT. Paragon Technology and Innovation, is one of Indonesia's leading cosmetic companies. The study examines how the company applies Islamic values in its CSR practices and identifies the correlation between CSR implementation at PT. Paragon Technology and Innovation with Islamic values, and explores the opportunities for expanding positive impacts. Using a qualitative case study approach and maudhu ‘iy analysis, the research found that Islamic CSR implementation supports business sustainability and contributes significantly to holistic community welfare.

Abstract

This research explores the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials in schools in shaping national character in the digital era. Good character, based on Islamic values such as honesty, sincerity, and responsibility, is an important element in building the identity of a Muslim who loves the homeland. PAI aims to instill moral and spiritual values amid the challenges of a secular national education system, where the focus is often more on knowledge transfer than character building. Through a theoretical study approach with a descriptive qualitative method, this study analyzes various literature to understand the extent to which PAI can strengthen students' national values and morality. The results show that the comprehensive and consistent implementation of PAI in the educational curriculum can contribute significantly in overcoming the morality crisis among students, equipping them with characters that support the welfare of the community and the nation

Abstract

This article explores the integration of 'tinta' (intellectualism) and 'tasbih' (spirituality) in the thoughts of two Indonesian scholars, Sheikh Nawawi Al-Bantani and Buya Hamka. The primary challenge of this research is how these two figures successfully combined scientific rationality with spiritual depth in their works. This research aims to analyze this integration model and its relevance to the development of contemporary Islamic thought. The method employed is a literature study, which involves collecting data from primary works and related academic studies. The results show that Sheikh Nawawi represents an intellectual sufi integration oriented towards preserving classical traditions. At the same, Buya Hamka presents an integration that is modern, active, and responsive to social dynamics. These findings strengthen the paradigm that knowledge and spirituality are inseparable. In conclusion, the models of these two scholars can serve as important references for contemporary Muslims.

Abstract

Digitalization encourages the spread of extremism, demanding an adaptive approach to da'wah. This study aims to develop the Moderate Da'wah Communication Model of Nusantara Ulama as a response to the ideological challenges posed by Colonial Shadows and the polarization of the Digital Age. The core issue is identifying communication message traditions and strategies for da'wah resilience. This qualitative study uses literature review, analyzed through the Da'wah Communication framework. Findings show that moderation messages are rooted in Sufism and pesantren ethics, emphasizing Zuhud to control fanaticism. The main model relies on the Salaf Pesantren as an example and Kitab Kuning for message standardization, utilizing a non-confrontational approach. The study's implication is the formulation of a Communal Hybrid Communication Model based on traditional authority and deep literacy, which effectively counteracts digital extremism.
