Abstract

Crane is identical to the pendulum in term of its control mechanism. Based on modelling, these two devices are very similar and therefore, the pendulum can be used as a prototype for controlling a crane. This research aims to control the balance or to reduce the swing on the pendulum by utilizing the moment of gyroscope with a mass pendulum up to 1.5 kg. Gyroscope was designed and made in the form of a disc, in which dimensions and materials used were determined according to the desired moment force. The PID controller was used to control the speed of gyroscope based on the angle of the pendulum (?). Based on the results of the experiment, it was obtained that the resulting settling time was 2.29 times faster than without control in average. The overshoot and rise time resulted by the system using gyroscope were very similar to the system which is without gyroscope. However, the steady state error was totally eliminated. It can be concluded that the moment of gyroscope is able to be used for controlling the pendulum or crane.

Abstract

At this time many vaname shrimp ponds have been made and developed, especially in the Bangka Belitung Islands. One of the main problems in shrimp ponds is the quality of pond water which must be in accordance with the living needs of shrimp, the process of monitoring water quality in shrimp ponds is usually done manually by taking water samples and then taking them to the laboratory for analysis. The purpose of this study is to facilitate farmers in the process of monitoring the water quality of shrimp ponds based on the Internet of Things (IoT). This research method is carried out by collecting data, designing control circuits, testing, and analyzing data. The average percentage error from the temperature test data for 1 hour is 0.31%, for 2 hours is 0.14%, and for 3 hours is 0.23%. The average percentage error from the pH test data for 1 hour is 3.05%, for 2 hours is 6.62%, and for 3 hours is 4.23%. The average percentage error of the salinity test results for 1 hour is 2.68%, for 2 hours is 4.27%, and for 3 hours is 1.95%.

Abstract

Pepper trees grow vines up to a height of 4 meters supported by other trees or using a pole called an arbor. The current problem is that during the pepper harvesting process, farmers generally pick by hand. In 2020, D3 students made a pepper picker design tool using a remote to control its movement, this tool cannot move automatically, from this problem a convolutional neural network (CNN) based pepper fruit detection system was created. This system uses the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method. CNN implementation uses Tensorflow tools with Python programming language. The number of datasets is 100 images of pepper and 100 images of non pepper. Based on the test results, the prediction precision level is 95%, accuracy is 89%, and recall is 90%, so it can be concluded that the detection system using a webcam can predict pepper fruit well.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the industrial world applies the concepts of automation carried out by machines without using human power in the application of a system. There are many systems used to simplify human work, such as item code identifiers in the barcode process. In this journal the TCS3200 color sensor application is used as a medium to read the values ​​of four types of colors, including: red, blue, yellow and green. After the TCS3200 color sensor detects the color, the NodeMcu will process the data which will be grouped into 5 types using four servo motors as arms that function to enter items that have been identified by the TCS3200 color sensor according to their respective color containers. The TCS3200 color sensor is also used as a medium to calculate how many items of each color are detected and will be displayed on the IoT-based blynk application. This application can monitor how much of each color is in the container and can also control to start and stop the system. This test was carried out 9 times and there were no errors in the test and the number that was read on the blynk application and the manual system was the same.

Abstract

The ball balance robot is one of the dynamic balancing robots. This robot must be actively controlled to stabilize it so that it remains balanced perpendicular to 0˚ above the ball on the ground or floor. The control system used is the PID control system. The tests carried out include sensor testing, motor testing, robot response testing, and the implementation of the PID control system on the robot. Of the various tuning methods tested on the robot, the manual tuning method gives the robot a slightly longer fall time of 320ms, compared to other methods, namely Ziegler-Nichlos=70ms, CHR Overshoot 0%=170ms, CHR Overshoot 20%=160ms, and Cohen-Coon =150ms. Overall data processing is processed by the Arduino Mega2560 microcontroller which receives angle readings from the MPU6050 sensor as input and actuation on the stepper motor as output for balancing on the robot.

Abstract

The scarcity of LPG for the size of 3 kilograms (3KG subsidized LPG) is caused by the implementation of government regulations regarding subsidized 3KG LPG in the field. To overcome these problems, a 3KG LPG gas sales system was designed by utilizing e-KTP as a condition for purchase transactions. This system works by reading the ID of each customer's e-KTP using an RFID reader sensor MFRC522. NodeMCU ESP8266 is used as a microcontroller as well as a wifi module so that the device can connect to the internet network. The website-based application is implemented as a system portal and a place to store customer data. The features provided in the application include recording and checking customer ID and recapitulation of 3KG LPG sales transactions in real time. Customer ID recording is done by entering the name, NIK and address, accompanied by an edit feature if there is a change or update of customer data. The results obtained from the experiment show that the RFID reader sensor can detect e-KTP well at a maximum distance of 0.5 CM with the e-KTP position parallel to the RFID reader. KTP and transactions are limited to 3 purchases per month e-KTP ID.

Abstract

Power factor is used to determine the quality of electric power. The factor has a parameter of 0-1 where the number 1 can be said to be close to perfect power factor while close to 0 can be said to be less good. power can also be affected by load. With the improvement of the power factor close to 1, the power energy will work optimally. A 3 phase induction motor is an inductive load that requires reactive power. If reactive power cannot be controlled, it will cause low power factor. The study uses a 3 phase slip ring motor as a load, a capacitor bank panel with Arduino mega 2560 control as a power factor improvement, with a value of step 1 = 5 F, step 2 = 10 F and step 3 = 15 F. The power factor of the slip ring motor at a load of 0 Nm before repair is 0.24 with a reactive power of 1106.15 Var. After the capacitor is activated automatically in Step 5, step 1 and 3, the power factor increases to 0.97 with a reactive power of 259.63 Var. The results of the power experiment at 0 Nm load with a power factor improvement of 0.97, the reactive power and current tend to decrease as the power factor value increases, thus making electrical energy more efficient and optimal.

Abstract

An expert system is an artificial intelligence program that combines a knowledge base with an inference system which is part of a high-level specialization software that seeks to duplicate the function of an expert in a field of expertise. This system was created with the aim of solving certain problems by imitating the work of experts from a field. Currently handling printer damage takes a long time to repair because there are many other printers that must be repaired. This expert system application uses the forward chaining method and literature studies into the Delphi 7 application which is useful for diagnosing damage and providing solutions to be carried out according to the symptoms given.

Abstract

In human life the use of electrical energy is very important and needed, but over time the use of its consumption is increasing. Therefore, it is necessary to save electricity consumption activities. This effort is known as energy conservation, one of which uses the energy audit method. Energy audit is to calculate the level of use or Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) in the Untirta Integrated Laboratory Building whether it is efficient in the use of electrical energy. Collecting data related to electricity usage, building profiles, and observing lighting loads, air conditioning/air conditioning loads and other loads. The use of the IKE formula as a form of analyzing the data. The results of the study stated that the IKE value in the Untirta Integrated Laboratory Building was 38.019 kWh/m2, from this value it can be seen that the IKE is efficient. This is based on the parameters used by ASEAN-USAID of 240 kWh/m2. There is an addition in saving energy if in the future there are additional burdens such as laboratory equipment or electronic goods. These savings can be made by using LED lamps and replacing TL lamps or using lamps with a lower wattage than the previous lamp and can be done by reducing the duration of usage in consuming electrical energy.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran sistem hukum Indonesia dalam penerapan jarimah ta’zir serta tantangan apa saja yang dihadapi dalam proses tersebut, untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai penerapan jarimah ta’zir di Indonesia dan menjadi salah satu acuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penerapan jarimah ta’zir kedepannya. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif menjadi metode dalam penelitian ini dengan studi kepustakaan (Library Research) sebagai jenis penelitiannya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sistem hukum Indonesia memiliki peran penting dalam penerapan jarimah ta'zir, serta terdapat tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan jarimah ta’jir di Indonesia seperti persepsi masyarakat terhadap kejamnya hukum Islam, ketidakjelasan dalam hukuman ta'zir, dan potensi subjektivitas karena kewenangan hakim
