Abstract

ABSTRACTCases of speech delay in children under five in Indonesia have increased during the pandemic. Cases of increasing speech delay are not only in urban areas but also in rural areas. One of the causes of the increase in speech delay cases among toddlers in Panusupan Village, Rembang District, Purbalingga Regency is the number of mothers who provide their children with devices to listen to videos and play games. The use of gadgets in these children is not accompanied by their parents. When playing on mobile devices, children only focus on the screen so they don't interact with the environment. In addition, the use of gadgets in children is also not given a time limit. Because children lack interaction with other people and the environment, their speaking skills do not develop. This causes speech delay in toddlers. However, parents, especially mothers, do not realize that their children have speech  delays, so they assume that there is no problem giving their children a device to watch videos or play games. Therefore, it is necessary to disseminate speech delay prevention to mothers, especially the Aisyiyah recitation group in Panusupan Village, Kec. Rembang, Kab. Purbalingga. The purpose of this outreach is to provide an understanding of the dangers and ways to prevent speech delay in children under five. Speech delay can be prevented by utilizing the videos seen by toddlers on devices using speech therapy methods. Speech therapy methods with the help of educational video media can be used to train toddlers to talk to avoid speech delay. The socialization was carried out in 6 stages, namely 1) preparation (situation analysis), 2) planning (needs analysis), 3) developing materials (instruments), 4) implementation, 5) evaluation, and 6) reporting and dissemination. After participating in the PKM activities, the mothers of the Aisyiyah recitation group had knowledge about the dangers, causes, and ways to prevent speech delay in children under five. In addition, the mothers of the Aisyiyah study group have the skills to apply speech therapy methods with educational video media to prevent children under five from experiencing speech delay. Keywords: speech delay, speech therapy, educational video, aisyiyah mothers  ABSTRAKKasus speech delay pada anak usia balita di Indonesia meningkat selama pandemi. Kasus meningkatnya speech delay tersebut tidak hanya di daerah perkotaan, tetapi juga di daerah pedesaan. Salah satu penyebab naiknya kasus speech delay pada balita di Desa Panusupan, Kecamatan Rembang, Kabupaten Purbalingga adalah banyaknya ibu yang memberikan gawai untuk menyimak video maupun bermain game kepada anak-anaknya. Penggunaan gawai pada anak-anak tersebut tidak didampingi oleh orang tuanya. Ketika sedang bermain gawai anak-anak hanya fokus pada layar sehingga membuat kurang berinterkasi dengan lingkungan. Selain itu, penggunaan gawai pada anak juga tidak diberi batasan waktu. Oleh karena anak kurang berinterkasi dengan orang lain dan lingkungan maka keterampilan berbicaranya tidak berkembang. Hal tersebut yang menyebabkan speech delay pada anak balita. Akan tetapi, para orangtua khususnya ibu tidak menyadari bahwa anaknya mengalami speech delay sehingga menganggap bahwa memberikan gawai pada anak untuk menyimak video atau bermain game tidak ada masalah. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan sosialisasi pencegahan speech delay pada ibu-ibu khususnya kelompok pengajian Aisyiyah di Desa Panusupan, Kec. Rembang, Kab. Purbalingga. Tujuan sosilisasi tersebut untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang bahaya dan cara pencegahan speech delay pada anak balita. Speech delay dapat dicegah dengan memanfaatkan video-video yang dilihat balita di gawai dengan metode terapi wicara. Metode terapi wicara dengan berbantuan media video edukasi dapat dimanfaatkan untuk melatih bicara balita agar terhindar dari speech delay.  Sosialisasi tersebut dilaksanakan dengan 6 tahap, yaitu 1) persiapan (analisis situasi), 2) perencanaan (analisis kebutuhan), 3) mengembangkan materi (instrument), 4) pelaksanaan, 5) evaluasi, dan 6) pelaporan dan diseminasi. Setelah  mengikuti kegiatan PKM ibu-ibu kelompok pengajian Aisyiyah memiliki pengetahuan tentang bahaya, penyebab, dan cara mencegah speech delay pada anak balita. Selain itu, ibu-ibu kelompok pengajian Aisyiyah juga memiliki keterampilan mengaplikasikan metode terapi wicara dengan media video edukasi untuk mencegah anak-anak usia balita mengalami speech delay. Kata Kunci: speech delay, terapi wicara, video edukasi, ibu-ibu aisyiyah

Abstract

Novel Janji is one the novels that tell the story of the journey of a religious school child who is looking for a former religious school student decades ago. The author describes religious school children being able to search for someone who disappeared decades ago according to their teacher’s instructions. This study uses a literary sociological analysis approach. The results of the study show that the story in the novel Janji contains five dimensions of religiosity, namely the dimension of belief, the dimension of ritual, the dimension of experience, the dimension of knowledge, and the consequential dimension. In the dimension of belief, it can be seen in the character's belief in doing good, not committing acts of corruption, and the belief in using money to worship. In the ritual dimension, religiosity is seen in the implementation of the five daily prayers, ablution before prayer, Friday prayers, daily expressions, and Idul Fitri prayers. In addition, in the dimension of experience, religiosity is seen in the character's experience of doing bad things, the experience of the character studying at a religious school, and the experience of the character eating inappropriate food for five years. In the knowledge dimension, the value of religiosity can be seen in the concept of sin, the concept of halal and haram, the obligation to pray five times a day, treasures as entrusted in the world, and stories of prophets in the past. At the end, the consequential dimension appears in the actions of the characters in the present which are based on the experiences of the characters in the past.

Abstract

Bahasa mempunyai peran vital dalam kehidupan manusia. Komunikasi yang dilakukan manusia dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahasa. Film merupakan jenis komunikasi secara tertulis. Dalam film terjadi bentuk komunikasi dan interaksi yang dilakukan tokoh melalui tuturan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur direktif dalam film Aku Ingin Ibu Pulang karya Monty Tiwa serta mendeskripsikan implementasi tindak tutur direktif yang terdapat dalam film Aku Ingin Ibu Pulang karya Monty Tiwa sebagai alternatif bahan ajar teks drama kelas XI SMA. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data ini adalah simak dan catat. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri (human instrument) dibantu dengan alat bantu berupa kartu data. Sedangkan teknik analisis data penelitian ini meliputi, (1) pengumpulan data, (2) reduksi data, (3) penyajian data, dan (4) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, 1) tindak tutur direktif tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kelangsungan hidup manusia dan 2) tindak tutur direktif dalam film Aku Ingin Ibu Pulang karya Monty Tiwa dapat diimplementasikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar pada pembelajaran teks drama kelas XI SMA.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Storytelling is a very beneficial activity for children because it can teach children about morals, like language, help achieve development in emotional learning, improve the learning atmosphere, and introduce new values and cultural values to children. Apart from that, storytelling can also foster an interest in reading in children from an early age so that it can foster a culture of literacy in Indonesia. Therefore, storytelling skills are very important for parents, especially mothers who have children under five. To foster a culture of literacy in children, it must be done from an early age and starting from the family environment. Therefore, this PKM was carried out to provide storytelling skills training to the women of the Dawis Kacang Tanah III group in Bangetayu Kulon Village, Genuk District, Semarang City. This training was attended by 13 members of the Dawis Kacang Tanah III group. The method used is training with four stages, namely 1) planning, 2) implementing actions, 3) observation and evaluation, and 4) reflection. The results obtained from the training include mothers who have 1) knowledge about the benefits of fairy tales for young children, 2) storytelling skills using storybooks and finger puppets, and 3) a growing love of storytelling in young children.  Keywords: storytelling, literacy culture, early childhood  ABSTRAK Mendongeng merupakan aktivitas yang sangat bermanfaat bagi anak karena dapat mengajarkan anak tentang moral, menyukai bahasa, membantu pencapaian perkembangan dalam pembelajaran emosi, meningkatkan suasana belajar, dan mengenalkan nilai-nilai baru serta nilai-nilai budaya pada anak. Selain itu, mendongeng juga dapat menumbuhkan minat baca pada anak sejak dini sehingga mampu menumbuhkan budaya litersi di Indonesia. Oleh karenanya keterampilan mendongeng sangat penting dimiliki oleh orang tua khususnya ibu yang memiliki anak balita. Untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi pada anak harus dilakukan sejak dini dan dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga. Oleh karena itu, PKM ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan pelatihan keterampilan mendongeng pada ibu-ibu kelompok Dawis Kacang Tanah III di Kelurahan Bangetayu Kulon, Kecamatan Genuk, Kota Semarang. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh anggota kelompok Dawis Kacang Tanah III sebanyak 13 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dengan empat tahapan, yaitu 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi dan evaluasi, dan 4) refleksi. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari hasil pelatihan tersebut antara lain ibu-ibu telah memiliki 1) pengetahuan tentang manfaat dongeng bagi anak usia dini, 2) keterampilan mendongeng dengan media buku cerita dan boneka jari, dan 3) tumbuhnya rasa suka terhadap mendongeng pada anak usia dini.      Kata Kunci: mendongeng, budaya literasi, anak usia dini

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the gap between teachers' and students' understanding of language literacy and mathematical symbols. The study was designed with a concurrent triangulation strategy. The research respondents consisted of 20 teachers and 120 class VII students. Data collection through questionnaires, interviews, and cognitive tests. Qualitative data was analyzed descriptively, and quantitative data was analyzed inferentially. The results of the analysis of quantitative data show that there is a linear (significant) relationship between understanding language and mathematical symbols and mathematical literacy skills. The results of the qualitative data analysis describe that the teacher's understanding of language and mathematical symbols (high criterion) does not necessarily support the students' understanding of language and mathematical symbols. We confirm the suspicion that there is a gap in the ability of teachers and students to understand language and mathematical symbols. Students need to improve their understanding of mathematical language and symbols. The pattern of errors is based on the teacher's conception of learning in the previous class, so the process of transitioning the teacher's knowledge to students' understanding of mathematics experiences obstacles. The implication is that the process of transitioning meaning from mathematical symbols to written and spoken language must be carried out when the teacher introduces or teaches new topics to students, and the context in which mathematical symbols are used must be followed by clarification.

Abstract

                                                          ABSTRACTCurriculum changes are a challenge felt by all educational institutions, especially Madrasah Aliyah (MA). The Independent Curriculum gives teachers the freedom to develop teaching tools, both in the form of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and teaching modules. However, the complexity of teaching modules, which are sometimes more detailed than lesson plans, often becomes an obstacle for teachers in designing learning tools. This obstacle is especially felt by Indonesian language teachers who are members of the Indonesian Language Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP). Some of the problems that arise include: (1) lack of knowledge regarding the preparation of Indonesian language teaching modules in MA in the context of the Independent Curriculum; (2) Indonesian Language MGMP MA Demak Regency has never participated in mentoring activities related to the preparation of Indonesian Language teaching modules in the Independent Curriculum; (3) the unavailability of Indonesian language teaching modules in MA according to the needs and characteristics of the school. To overcome this problem, several solutions are proposed, namely: (1) organizing mentoring activities regarding the preparation of Indonesian language teaching modules for the Indonesian Language MGMP Independent Curriculum MA Demak Regency; (2) implementation of learning and training activities related to the preparation of Indonesian language teaching modules for the Indonesian Language Independent Curriculum MGMP MA Demak Regency; (3) preparation of Indonesian language teaching modules in the Independent Curriculum MA in accordance with the needs and characteristics of the school.Keywords: mentoring, preparation of teaching modules, independent curriculum                                                           ABSTRAKPerubahan kurikulum menjadi suatu tantangan yang dirasakan oleh seluruh lembaga pendidikan, khususnya Madrasah Aliyah (MA). Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan kebebasan kepada guru untuk menyusun perangkat ajar, baik berupa Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) maupun modul ajar. Namun, kompleksitas modul ajar, yang kadang lebih rinci daripada RPP, sering menjadi hambatan bagi guru dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran. Kendala ini khususnya dirasakan oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Bahasa Indonesia. Beberapa permasalahan yang muncul antara lain: (1) minimnya pengetahuan tentang penyusunan modul ajar Bahasa Indonesia di MA dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka; (2) MGMP Bahasa Indonesia MA Kabupaten Demak belum pernah mengikuti kegiatan pendampingan terkait penyusunan modul ajar Bahasa Indonesia pada Kurikulum Merdeka; (3) belum tersedianya modul ajar Bahasa Indonesia di MA sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik sekolah. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, beberapa solusi diajukan, yakni: (1) penyelenggaraan kegiatan pendampingan tentang penyusunan modul ajar Bahasa Indonesia pada Kurikulum Merdeka untuk MGMP Bahasa Indonesia MA Kabupaten Demak; (2) pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran dan pelatihan terkait penyusunan modul ajar Bahasa Indonesia Kurikulum Merdeka untuk MGMP Bahasa Indonesia MA Kabupaten Demak; (3) penyusunan modul ajar Bahasa Indonesia di MA pada Kurikulum Merdeka yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik sekolah.Kata Kunci: pendampingan, penyusunan modul ajar, kurikulum merdeka

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Gemini AI-assisted storytelling therapy as an innovative approach to addressing speech delays in early childhood. Through qualitative methodology incorporating case studies, literature review, and action research with children aged 6-8 years, participants engaged in therapeutic storytelling sessions facilitated by Gemini AI, which generated personalized narratives based on individual abilities while providing real-time analysis of verbal responses. The AI system's adaptive algorithms continuously refined story content to match each child's developmental progress, creating an engaging learning environment throughout the intervention period. Sessions gradually increased linguistic complexity while incorporating children's preferences, fostering both communicative skills and emotional investment. Data collection included pre- and post-intervention assessments, recorded therapy sessions, parental interviews, and AI-generated progress reports tracking specific speech parameters. Results demonstrated significant improvements in vocabulary acquisition, sentence structure, and speaking confidence, with children exhibiting increased engagement during sessions while scheduling flexibility enhanced parental involvement. The findings confirm that AI-assisted storytelling therapy represents an effective intervention for speech delays, as the personalized content and real-time assessment capabilities complement traditional speech therapy approaches, potentially expanding accessibility to quality intervention while providing a scalable solution for the growing demand for specialized speech services.
