Abstract

The discourse on mental health is often an interesting and beneficial discussion across time. There are many developing concepts adopted from western thoughts. The concept offered by Islamic Psychology has not been explored yet. One of them is the concept of mental health from the perspective of Abu Zaid al-Balkhi. This study aims to analyze the concept of Islamic mental health, specifically the thought of Abu Zaid al-Balkhi in the book Maṣāliḥu al-Abdān wa al-Anfus. By using a type of qualitative research with a descriptive-analytical method specifically in describing and analyzing mental health concepts, according to Abu Zaid al-Balkhi. Based on this research, it can be seen that mental health or a healthy soul is the stability of the soul’s strength in humans so that it can defeat the turmoil of psychiatric signs. Al-Balkhi classifies psychiatric symptoms into four groups, namely, sadness and anxiety (al-ḥuzn wal jazʻ), obsession (al-waswas), anger (al-gaḍab), and finally, fear and phobia (al-khauf wa al-fazʻ). To achieve happiness, humans should always try and strive for a balance between the body and soul. The attachment of both (body and soul) is in harmony with human construction, namely physical and spiritual. Caring for and maintaining health as a preventive effort is preferred than treating it if already sick. This is what distinguishes the concept of healing the soul of Islam, according to al-Balkhi, with the concept of western secular psychotherapy

Abstract

Today's work scenario is characterized by a fast rate of change, intense pressure, constant decline, changing demographics, increasing use of technology have affected the lives of employees. A person working aims to find life-work balance in his personal life. Work-life balance has implications for attitudes, behavior, welfare and organizational effectiveness. Therefore, it is necessary to have an attitude of appreciation from a sense of diversity towards a religion and one's belief in the existence of God which is manifested by obeying His commands and prohibitions with all one's heart and soul which is called religiosity. Religious activities are closely related to religiosity, not only when performing rituals (worship), but also other activities including work. Thus, religiosity can predict a person's behavior at work. This article reviews the literature on the role of religiosity in the work-life balance domain for employees, which emphasizes the importance of work-life balance supported by the values of religiosity of the employees.

Abstract

Pembicaraan tentang Syekh Siti Jenar dan ungkapannya Iya Ingsun iki Allahmenimbulkan polemic di kalangan masyarakat, hingga melahirkan kesimpulan bahwaSyekh Siti Jenar mengaku sebagai Tuhan, Allah. Namun membaca teks-teks sufismeJawa, tidak bisa hanya membaca dan memaknai secara harfiah suatu ungkapan yangterpisah. Begitu pula membaca pernyataan Syekh Siti Jenar Iya Ingsun iki Allah.Untuk memahaminya diperlukan rujukan lain seperti Suluk Acih, Serat SulukWalisana, dan tiga Serat Siti Jenar masing-masing karya Raden Sasrawijaya, RadenMas Ngabehi Mangunwijaya, dan Raden Mas Harjawijaya. Berdasarkan pada tigapembacaan terhadap teks-teks tersebut dengan menggunakan pendekatan integrasiinterkoneksitekstual, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ingsun mempunyai arti yang tidaktunggal. Dalam hal ini ingsun berarti, hakikat Tuhan, ingsun sebagai ungkapanpuncak rohani, ingsun sebagai representasi manusia sempurna, dan ingsun sebagaibentuk pembicaraan dua orang yang mempunyai derajat yang sama atau saling marah.Dijatuhkannya hukuman pada Syekh Siti Jenar atas pertimbangan social politiksemata. Karena pada kenyataannya para wali tidak menolak konsep-konsep ingsunyang ada dalam ajaran sufisme Siti Jenar.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the implementation of a project-based learning model in improving meaningful learning in distance learning on PAI sub lesson "Mari Ikhlas Beramal" in SDN Pereng and SDN 2 Cucukan, Prambanan in 2021. The variable of the target of change was meaningful learning seen from the improvement of mastery of concepts, learning activities, responses, and critical thinking skills of the students with a project-based learning model. This research was classroom action research using a cycle model consisting of two cycles. The research subjects were 18 students of grade V SDN Pereng, and 25 students of grade V. Data collection techniques used observation of learning activities and documentation. Data analysis techniques used qualitative analysis models. The research results from cycle to cycle obtained an increase in the meaningful learning at grade V in Sub-Lesson "Mari Ikhlas Beramal” after the implementation of classroom actions using a project-based learning model.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the influence of gadget and parenting pattern on the students’ social behavior at grade V and VI of SD Prembanan Prembulan Pandowan Galur Kulon Progo Yogyakarta, as well as to identify which variable was more influential on students’ social behavior. This research was quantitative research with a total of 55 students of classes V and VI. The data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The linear regression test resulted in the value of Sig 0.000 which indicated that gadget and parenting pattern were simultaneously influential on students’ social behavior; as seen from the percentage of 94.5%. The t-test of the regression analysis resulted in 8.894 which indicated that the variable of gadget gave an influence on the students’ social behavior. Whilst its significance amounted at 0.000 which indicated that gadget usage gave influence to students’ social behavior to the extent of 69.6%. Furthermore, the t-test on the variable of parenting pattern resulted in 3.323 and the significance value of 0.002. The results indicated that parenting pattern gave an influence on students’ social behavior to the extent of 24.9%

Abstract

Lingkungan keluarga dan sosial mempengaruhi karakter anak-anak. Nilai-nilai religiusitas sangat dibutuhkan oleh anak-anak. Karenanya, artikel ini membahas sebuah penelitian mengenai strategi keluarga muslim dalam penguatan religiusitas anak pada masyarakat multi agama gunungkidul, untuk mengkaji bagaimana keberhasilan keluarga muslim dalam penguatan religiusitas anak, untuk menemukan faktor penghambat dan strategi mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian fenomenologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah keluarga muslim yang mempunyai anak usia 6-12 tahun. Selain itu, berdasarkan karakteristik latar belakang pendidikan agama orang tua, pekerjaan, dan ketokohan dalam masyarakat kuwangen lor. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teori dari Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 1. Strategi keluarga muslim dalam penguatan religiusitas anak: Keteladanan dalam penguatan aqidah, pembiasaan dalam ibadah, pemberian nasehat, pengawasan terhadap pergaulan anak, keteladanan dalam berperilaku, serta penerapan hadiah dan hukuman yang mendidik. 2. Keberhasilan keluarga muslim dalam penguatan religiusitas anak yaitu terdapat tiga tingkatan. Kategori sangat baik terdapat pada aspek pengetahuan agama, praktik agama dan konsekuensi karena menggunakan empat strategi yaitu keteladanan, nasehat, pembiasaan, hadiah dan hukuman mendidik. Kategori baik terdapat pada aspek keyakinan, karena menggunakan tiga strategi yaitu keteladanan, pembiasaan dan nasehat. Kategori cukup terdapat pada aspek penghayatan karena menggunakan dua strategi yaitu nasehat dan keteladanan.3. Faktor penghambat yaitu kurangnya ilmu pengetahuan, pemahaman agama, pola pengasuhan anak oleh orang tua, penggunaan HP dan televisi yg berlebihan serta pergaulan teman sebaya. Strategi mengatasi hambatan yaitu membuat jadwal kesepakatan antara orang tua dengan anak, memberikan hadiah dan hukuman yang mendidik, dan memberikan fasilitas penunjang untuk penguatan religiusitas anak.

Abstract

Justice (‘adl) is a foundational value in Islamic teachings and constitutes the core pillar of political leadership within the concept of khalifah (caliphate). This article aims to examine the normative meaning, position, and function of justice in the concept of khalifah, based on primary Islamic sources, namely the Qur’an, Hadith, and classical works of fiqh siyāsah. This study employs a qualitative research method with a normative-descriptive approach, utilizing library research as the primary data collection technique. The analysis is conducted through content analysis and thematic interpretation of normative texts and historical practices of Islamic governance. The findings indicate that ‘adl is not merely an ethical value, but a fundamental prerequisite that determines the legitimacy and moral authority of leadership in Islam. Historical evidence from the era of the Khulafā’ al-Rāshidūn demonstrates that justice was systematically implemented in legal administration, public accountability, and equitable distribution of wealth. Classical scholars such as al-Māwardī explicitly emphasized justice as an indispensable requirement for a caliph. Furthermore, this study argues that the normative concept of ‘adl within the caliphate framework remains highly relevant in contemporary Islamic leadership discourse, particularly in promoting accountable, inclusive, and ethically grounded governance. Therefore, justice as the pillar of the caliphate must be continuously recontextualized as a living principle capable of guiding modern political systems in Muslim societies.
