Abstract

State Universities in Indonesia have college performance agreement with Ministry of Education and Culture (MoEC) that consists of performance indicators and target achievements in a year. For assuring the integration, availability, and data validity of performance indicators, good information management with utilized information system is needed by entire working unit. Information management process to support data collection and target achievements on college performance agreement with MoEC in Brawijaya University still has many deficiencies. The process involves many stakeholders because it covers all areas of business in Brawijaya University (UB). Quality Asurance Center in UB as the unit that collects and processes the data of target achievements complained about data collection that takes a long time and it is often incomplete. The faculties, study programs, and other units experience the unavailability of most data and target performance indicators on information system that is used as reference for implementing business processes. The problem responded lightly by Information and Communication Technology Unit in Brawijaya University with consideration that Information System used is in accordance with the needs of the academic community. On the other hand, the responses about the problem from the lecturers, staff, and students are different. This research tries to explore and evaluate the problem and formulate the steps of transformations to refine the situation by using Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) with some additional Root Cause Analysis (RCA) stages. The major contribution of the research is giving the insights about the problem thoroughly comprising various perspective of stakeholders, transforming the refinement of the situation presented in conceptual model, and the stakeholders’ assessment of the conceptual model. This research also visualizes the implementation of RCA to dig up more perspective of the stakeholders and helps identifying the activities to construct conceptual model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi dampak penggunaan Android Auto dan ponsel Android terhadap fokus mengemudi dalam lingkungan simulasi. Fokus utama penelitian adalah membandingkan efektivitas kedua teknologi dalam menjaga konsentrasi pengemudi serta mengidentifikasi skenario penggunaan yang paling berdampak pada penurunan fokus. Sepuluh partisipan berusia 20–30 tahun menjalani empat skenario simulasi, yaitu membaca peta, mengatur musik, membaca pesan, dan menerima panggilan telepon. Setiap skenario diulang tiga kali untuk kedua kondisi. Data berupa waktu reaksi dan jumlah kesalahan dianalisis menggunakan Repeated Measures ANOVA dan Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Android Auto secara signifikan lebih unggul dibandingkan ponsel Android dalam menjaga fokus pengemudi, ditandai dengan waktu reaksi lebih cepat dan jumlah kesalahan lebih rendah. Skenario membaca peta dengan ponsel Android menghasilkan gangguan tertinggi, sedangkan mengatur musik dengan Android Auto menjadi skenario paling minim gangguan. Temuan ini menunjukkan potensi Android Auto dalam meningkatkan keselamatan berkendara melalui interaksi yang lebih aman. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan sistem infotainment berbasis antarmuka minimalis dan peningkatan edukasi keselamatan berkendara berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan dan menganalisis proses bisnis pada UMKM UD Margo Tani Blitar menggunakan pendekatan Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara, ditemukan bahwa proses pengadaan bahan baku serta pemesanan dan distribusi masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga menimbulkan permasalahan seperti ketidaksesuaian data stok, keterlambatan pengiriman, dan miskomunikasi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dilakukan analisis dengan metode Value-Added Analysis (VAA) dan Five Whys Analysis guna mengidentifikasi aktivitas yang tidak bernilai tambah serta akar permasalahannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan model proses bisnis usulan (To-Be) yang disertai digitalisasi pada beberapa titik proses. Digitalisasi tersebut mencakup penerapan sistem informasi internal untuk pengecekan stok secara digital melalui dashboard, pencatatan keluar-masuk barang berbasis form digital, pencatatan pesanan dan pembuatan nota secara otomatis, hingga penjadwalan pengiriman berbasis sistem. Proses ini juga didukung dokumentasi bukti pengiriman dalam bentuk foto dan konfirmasi penerimaan di sistem. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi waktu sebesar 12,83% pada proses pengadaan bahan baku dan 24,55% pada proses pemesanan dan distribusi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa rekomendasi digitalisasi terstruktur yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional UMKM.

Abstract

This study explores user perceptions of Green Information Systems (GIS) at the Directorate of Information Technology (DTI), Universitas Brawijaya, and identifies strategies for enhancing GIS adoption using the Persuasive System Design (PSD) framework. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with four employees from various roles, including system administrators and managerial staff. Using thematic analysis and coding processes (open, axial, and selective), findings reveal positive perceptions of GIS, particularly in energy management through server virtualization, document digitalization, and e-waste management. However, challenges such as the absence of formal policies, central regulations hindering digitalization, and a lack of automated energy monitoring persist. Recommended strategies include automated sleep modes integrated with cybersecurity education, regulatory advocacy for digitalization, and campaigns on e-waste management. The integration of Green IS with cybersecurity offers an innovative approach to accelerate GIS adoption while improving data protection, supporting sustainable IT operations at DTI Universitas Brawijaya.
