Abstract

Sugarcane pests and diseases are still diagnosed manually, which can lead to errors such as data loss or inaccurate data. The goal of this research is to develop an expert system for identifying plant pests and diseases that affect sugarcane yield and quality. This data was obtained through literature study, observation, and interviews. The Case Based Reasoning method is used to find cases by comparing previous cases with recent cases using similarity calculations with the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm to find the best solution from the identified cases. The results of this study indicate that the expert system for diagnosing sugarcane pests and diseases is easy to use, the appearance is easy to reach, and the diagnostic process does not take a long time. Based on testing the accuracy of the system to diagnose according to the expert's mind, it got an accuracy of 96% from 50 cases tested with the system and got a percentage result of 87.33% from 10 respondents including very feasible criteria.

Abstract

State Universities in Indonesia have college performance agreement with Ministry of Education and Culture (MoEC) that consists of performance indicators and target achievements in a year. For assuring the integration, availability, and data validity of performance indicators, good information management with utilized information system is needed by entire working unit. Information management process to support data collection and target achievements on college performance agreement with MoEC in Brawijaya University still has many deficiencies. The process involves many stakeholders because it covers all areas of business in Brawijaya University (UB). Quality Asurance Center in UB as the unit that collects and processes the data of target achievements complained about data collection that takes a long time and it is often incomplete. The faculties, study programs, and other units experience the unavailability of most data and target performance indicators on information system that is used as reference for implementing business processes. The problem responded lightly by Information and Communication Technology Unit in Brawijaya University with consideration that Information System used is in accordance with the needs of the academic community. On the other hand, the responses about the problem from the lecturers, staff, and students are different. This research tries to explore and evaluate the problem and formulate the steps of transformations to refine the situation by using Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) with some additional Root Cause Analysis (RCA) stages. The major contribution of the research is giving the insights about the problem thoroughly comprising various perspective of stakeholders, transforming the refinement of the situation presented in conceptual model, and the stakeholders’ assessment of the conceptual model. This research also visualizes the implementation of RCA to dig up more perspective of the stakeholders and helps identifying the activities to construct conceptual model.

Abstract

Budaya lokal Indonesia merupakan warisan budaya bangsa Indonesia Budaya lokal lebih bermakna karena dapat menumbuhkan semangat kecintaan terhadap kehidupan manusia Nilai-nilai, standar dan etika yang terkandung dalam Aturan Standar tercermin dalam budaya lokal Praja IPDN Kampus Sumbar berasal dari Sabang-Merauke selama menjalani pendidikan, mereka harus mengetahui dan mempelajari tata cara Minangkabau khususnya filosofi “Basandi Sarak Sarak yang tersandi dalam Kitab ullah” agar Praja dapat mengkomunikasikan kepada orang tua, saudara, dan masyarakat ketika kembali ke daerah asalnya. Kegiatan ini mengembangkan pembelajaran mengenalkan dan mengenal prosesi adat Minangkabau dalam kaitannya dengan konteks kekinian. Acara berlangsung di balai adat Kenagarian Lasi. Lasi dipilih sebagai tempat kajian pengenalan budaya lokal karena melihat adat dan budayanya masih terpelihara dengan baik dan lembaga kerapatan adatnya cukup aktif dalam mempertahankan, melestarikan adat dan budaya dengan cara menggelar kegiatan pasambahan dan diskusi tentang adat yang rutin dilaksanakan di balai kerapatan adat. Pengenalan budaya Minangkabau diberikan oleh ketua Adat yang terdiri dari penyambutan tamu Pasambahan, peran Ninik Mumang, ulama dan Bundo Kanduang. Usai pemaparan materi dilanjutkan dengan tanya jawab dari Civitas Akademika IPDN dan diakhiri dengan “Makan Bajamba” yang merupakan tradisi Minangkabau yaitu makan dalam satu piring untuk 4 orang yang disebut “Satu Nampan”.

Abstract

Smart City is a solution to overcome various problems in urban areas through interactive internet-based applications that provide various services that can be accessed by the public online. By 2020, more than 50% of the population in Indonesia live in urban areas, and this number will continue to increase in the future. To facilitate urban population services, the government has developed smart city services in various cities since the last 5 years. Such development needs to be supported from various fields, including from the technical side of system development. Smart city applications must be reliable so that they can be used properly by the community. In this study, reliability testing was carried out on six smart city applications in six cities, namely Live Tangerang, Sadayana Bandung, Jogja Smart Services, Cimahi SmartCity, Nganjuk Smart City and Tuban Smart City using tour-based exploratory testing techniques. The test results show that there are deficiencies or bugs found in the form of inconvenience to use because there is no error handling on the input form, an unresponsive interface, unavailability of information, and imperfect navigation. In addition, there are some bugs that are quite annoying, namely the sudden closing of the application when the user uses certain features.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam pembayaran Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB) di Kabupaten Brebes, Jawa Tengah dengan pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana kampanye dan sosialisasi. Teknik kampanye yang dilakukan dengan mengembangkan konten Instagram dan Tiktok. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Selain melalui pemanfaatan media sosial, dalam pengabdian ini juga dilakukan upaya pendataan dan validasi data pembayaran pajak door to door selama 30 hari. Tantangan yang dihadapi selama melakukan pengabdian antara lain konten yang dibuat kurang variatif dan interaksi yang terbatas dengan masyarakat baik via media social maupun langsung. Tantangan tersebut diatasi dengan melakukan perbaikan konten dengan mengembangkan konten lebih kreatif serta melakukan pendekatan langsung kepada masyarakat dari rumah ke rumah membantu meningkatkan partisipasi. Media sosial terbukti menjadi alat yang ampuh ketika dipadukan dengan pendekatan langsung. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa media sosial efektif digunakan sebagai sarana kampanye dan sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan wajib pajak. Seluruh rangkaian kegiatan yang dilakukan baik melalui pemanfaatan media sosial serta keterlibatan dan kesadaran publik yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Perangkat lunak saat ini menjadi salah satu kunci dalam pelayanan digital pemerintah kepada masyarakat. Namun, kualitas layanan digital tersebut tidak banyak diperhatikan oleh pemerintah. Ditandai dengan banyaknya layanan digital yang belum pernah mengalami analisis kualitas secara berkala. Fenomena tersebut terjadi pula kepada website MATIC milik Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Malang yang menjadi bahan penelitian saat ini. Penelitian ini berfokus pada evaluasi kualitas website MATIC dengan menggunakan standar ISO 9126 untuk mengetahui potensi kekurangan dan akhirnya manghasilkan bahan rekomendasi perbaikan agar dapat digunakan oleh pihak terkait, agar kedepannya dapat membuat website MATIC berkualitas lebih baik dan supaya semakin banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk memperkuat hasil, peneliti juga melakukan pengujian kualitas dengan dimensi ISO 9126 dengan bantuan tool s tambahan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menemukan hasil bahwa website MATIC telah menjadi perangkat lunak unggulan DISPARBUD Kabupaten Malang sebagai media promosi pariwisata. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan analisis kualitas berdasarkan standar ISO 9126, website ini menunjukkan performa yang baik dengan terpenuhinya hampir seluruh indikator. Namun, ada beberapa indikator yang harus ditingkatkan, yakni indikator Security, Complience, Understandability, Learnability, Attractiveness, Time and Resource Behaviour, dan Analyzability.

Abstract

The tourism sector is an industry that is able to contribute to improving the economy and public welfare, and has even defeated the oil and coal sectors which have been the leading sectors. Digital services in the tourism sector have been developed by several regional governments, both in the form of mobile applications and websites for the promotion and marketing of tourist destinations, as well as various tourism information services, such as infrastructure, accommodation, cultural activities, locations, and so on. Malang Regency Tourism Intelligence Center (MATIC) is one of the digital public services in the tourism sector developed by the Malang Regency Government. MATIC is a big data and intelligence-based tourism service application that manages and analyzes tourism data comprehensively, which is developed into a one-stop application for tourism and creative economy information. Public service software is an Electronic-Based Command System (SPBE) which has the function of disseminating and providing public services, so it should have good and reliable performance in order to provide the best service to the public as application users. This study aims to support the implementation of MATIC by ensuring the reliability or provision of applications through software testing with tourism tour metaphor exploration testing techniques. The study presents exploration testing steps starting from the test preparation stage, test implementation, and test results that show the findings of 22 deficiencies or defects. The level of defects found were 14 low errors, 5 medium errors, and 3 high errors. Defects were found from three variations of tourism tour metaphor testing techniques, namely money tours, supporting actor tours, and supermodel tours.
