Abstract

Martahi tradision is one of crucial moments in wedding party in batak ethnic at kecamatan dalok. It is a tradition that do by the element of society who will held a wedding party of their son. The purpose to earn some money or fund that would be used as of wedding need that asked by the bride candidate to groom's candidate.To complete that thing, the groom's candidate family do the martahi tradition by inviting relatives, peers, and the elements of the close society. In the Islāmic law perception, the agreement in giving money to the groom's family candidate when doing martahi was agreement in helping, a moral debt and its not about debt but, it more approximate to Alms sunnah

Abstract

In every era, there are always social phenomena that arise, and Islamic law has covered and answered them for their legal position. One of the examples of the phenomena is IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), which is an artificial insemination as a shortcut to get children by bringing together sperm cells and egg cells outside the body which are then inserted into the mother's womb, so they can grow into a fetus as usual pregnancy. In this IVF process, there are likely to be 5 parties involved, namely: husband, wife, sperm donor, ovum donor and uterine mother. If there is a third party besides wife and husband involved in the process of IVF, there will be indications of genetic mixing in the fetus.IVF with a system without any third party involvement (sperm and ovum from husband and wife) by transferring into the womb of the wife is permissible and the baby is the descendant of his parents. However, if there is involvement of a third party, it is prohibited. IVF In the concept of Maqashid Shari'ah is one of the media that contributes in realizing 1. Hifdzu ad-din (protecting religion), 2. Hifdzu an-nafs (protecting souls), 3. Hifdzu al-aql (protecting the mind), 4. Hifdzu al-mal (protecting property), 5. Hifdzu an-nasab (protecting descendants). However, IVF is more dominant and looks more transparent in the aspect of Hifdzu an-nasab (protecting desdendants).

Abstract

Sari Laba Jahe Village is a village of Biru-Biru sub-district, Deli Serdang district, North Sumatra province. This village is known as the village of Mualaf because the majority of Muslims in this village are converts. For the data on the religious community itself, Islam is actually a minority. The population in Sari Laba village reaches 1366 peoples. In Sari Laba village, the majority of them are Christians with a population of 759 Protestant Christians and 434 Catholic Christians while only 172 Muslims. When viewed from the Muslims themselves in this village, their number is only around 76 families and of these 76 families, 53 families consist of converts. Community service program student activities or KKL of Stai As-Sunnah began on 5-21 Ramadan 1442 H or 17 April - 3 May 2021. Many activities were carried out by students of Stai As-Sunnah during KKL activities. These activities are religious activities, related to social, related to education and management, as well as community empowerment. The KKL activities of the Stai-Assunnah students in Sari Laba village (mualaf village) are running smoothly and have a positive impact on the community.

Abstract

Many complaints from parents, educators, and the public regarding the behavior of teenagers that are difficult to control, naughty, stubborn, deviant behavior, and others. This problem also occurs in Bulu Bargut Village, Marbao, North Labuhan Batu, North Sumatra. Therefore, community service programs are used as a solution to solve juvenile delinquency by directing them to useful activities. This community service uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, by being directly involved in extracting diverse information, then taking action as a solution to problems that have been identified, and by participating in building the design and implementation of actions based on research results. The basis for doing PAR is the need to get the desired changes. During the seventeen days of activities carried out, it has succeeded in instilling the love of Al-Qur'an in teenagers. With the love of the Qur'an, it is hoped that they can stay away from and reduce the existence of useless activities during the month of Ramadan such as wild racing playing social media, and games. Then the result of the community service program is that the community is enthusiastic to participate in the activities held such as training activities on the nature of the prophet's wudu, lectures before tarawih salat, Friday khatib, and iftar jama’i. So the program carried out is very effective in overcoming and handling juvenile delinquency in Pulo Bargot Village through intensive learning of the Qur'an and teaching Islamic morals. Then what is more important is that the community support is very positive in receiving this program. Likewise, teenagers are very enthusiastic about memorizing the Qur'an and participating in programs implemented during community service programs.

Abstract

This research tries to find out how the concept of kafaah in Islam and its application in marriages in Indonesian Muslim society. In this study, the area used as the research sample was Barus District, Central Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra. The sample used in this study were 3 people or three couples who had their own problems when they were going to get married because of rejection from the families of the bride and groom. In this study, it was found that the problem of kafaah was not caused by religion, but was caused by work and ethnicity. In fact, according to madhhab scholars, kafaah in Islam which is very important is a matter of religion.

This study aims to determine the form of Islamic communication ethics of students to teachers used by Ibn Jama'ah and as a solution to solving problems of communication between students and teachers. This type of research is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach, the primary data source is the book Tazkirah As-Sami‘ Wa Al-Mutakallim Fi Adab Al-‘Alim Wa Al-Muta‘Allim”", From the results of this study, namely the ethics of Islamic communication between students and teachers, occurs in two places, namely in lessons and outside lessons and there are 22 forms of Islamic communication ethics and Qaulan Karima dominates almost all of the other Qaul in every place, and there is no Qaulan Baliga which used by Ibn Jama'ah

Abstract

This research aims to identify the communication strategies used by dormitory caregivers in facilitating the mastery of foreign languages ​​by students at the At-Tibyan Tanjung Morawa Islamic Boarding School, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. This research also aims to analyze the factors that influence the implementation of these communication strategies in the Islamic boarding school environment. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and documentation. The findings show that the At-Tibyan Islamic Boarding School is not only an educational institution that shapes character and morality, but also a place where the younger generation can master world knowledge through mastering foreign languages. The communication strategies implemented by the dormitory caregivers have proven to be effective and have resulted in students' achievements in the field of language. However, dormitory caregivers continue to carry out evaluations to correct deficiencies in language mastery.
