Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the principal in fostering the professional competence of teachers at Ekatama SMKS Pekanbaru. This research uses descriptive methods and a qualitative approach. Research data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity analysis technique was performed by triangulation. The data analysis technique uses the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the role of the principal in fostering the professional competence of teachers at Ekatama SMKS Pekanbaru was as an educator, administrator, supervisor, leader, manager, innovator, and motivator. One of the principal roles is as manager. As a manager, thinks conceptually and analytically, is able to face various problems at school, always tries to be an intermediary in solving problems. To improve the competence of teachers, it is important to carry out a system of testing teacher competencies. The existing regional autonomy policy can be used to conduct teacher competency tests. Competency tests are conducted in order to develop and demonstrate the complete competence of a teacher. The complete competence possessed includes the integration, application of knowledge and skills, as well as interrelated attitudes.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang aktivitas pengembangan motorik kasar anak. Taman Kanak- Kanak Negeri Pembina Painan memiliki keunikan dalam pengembangan motorik kasar anak melalui pembelajaran sentra olah tubuh. Jenis penelitian ini ialah deskriptif dengan memakai pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai ialah observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian secara umum menunjukkan pengembangan motorik kasar anak di Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Pembina Painan, guru telah melakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru berpedoman kepada Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Mingguan (RPPM) dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Harian (RPPH) dengan kegiatan sesuai tema serta sub tema yang telah dirancang. Kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan setiap harinya guru melakukan sesuai yang telah direncanakan serta memakai metode yang bermacam-macam serta media yang menarik. Kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan seperti lari lurus, lari menyusun balok (meja pedagang), lari ziqzaq melewati balok, elo pukek, memindahkan bola kebelakang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif penggunaan rebana terhadap kecerdasan musikal anak di TK Wahana Harapan Bangsa 1 Padang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kecerdasan musikal anak yang belum berkembang secara optimal, seperti kemampuan musik anak yang kurang baik untuk mengikuti tempo ketika bernyanyi. Jenis penelitian yaitu kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dalam bentuk Quasi Eksperimen. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh anak di TK Wahana Harapan Bangsa 1 Kota Padang, dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya purposive sampling, yaitu kelas B1 dan kelas B2 masing-masingnya 15 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, berupa pernyataan dalam lima butir pernyataan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis, dan uji pengaruh (effect size). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menemukan bahwa varians data N-gain adalah sama atau seragam di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kemudian berdasarkan uji hipotesis diketahui nilai sig (2-tailed) yaitu sebesar 0,00<0,05. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan rebana berpengaruh dalam peningkatan kecerdasan musikal anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh beberapa anak kurang tertarik belajar geometri, dengan ketidaktertarikan tersebut, masih banyak anak yang belum mampu menyebutkan bentuk-bentuk geometri sesuai dengan bentuknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh bermain playdough terhadap pengenalan geometri pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak kanak Sabbihisma 4 Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksprimen. Sampel penelitian ini masing-masing berjumlah 11orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang berupa pernyataan sebanyak 20 item pernyataan dan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis dengan bantuan komputerisasi SPSS 25. Hasil dari penelitian terlihat bahwa varians data N-gain untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah berdistribusi normal,   dan hasil uji homogenitas  kelas eksperimen dan kelas control adalah sama atau homogen. Kemudian berdasarkan tabel diatas diketahui nilai sig (2- tailed) adalah sebesar 0,012 dan di nyatakan < 0,05. Dengan demikian disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara bermain playdough dengan pengenalan geometri pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak Kanak Sabbihisma 4 Padang.

Abstract

Indonesia menempati posisi ke-3 untuk jumlah stunting terbanyak. Provinsi Sumatera Barat juga memiliki kasus stunting tinggi, salah satu daerahnya adalah di Nagari Bayua, Kecamatan Tanjung Raya, Kabupaten Agam. Berdasarkan hasil survey dilakukan kepada anggota kader posyandu, Tim Penggerak PKK serta Wali Nagari di Nagari Nagari Bayua, Kecamatan Tanjung Raya, Kabupaten Agam memperlihatkan bahwa: 1) Nagari Bayua merupakan salah satu daerah tertinggi kasus stunting di kabupaten agam. 2) 25% anak usia dini mengalami stunting di Nagari Bayua, Kecamatan Tanjung Raya, Kabupaten agam, data ini di atas batasan yang ditetapkan WHO (20%), 3) Pola Asuh orang tua yang belum memahami pentingnya gizi bagi tumbuh kembang anak,4) Masyarakat khususnya kader posyandu dan PKK belum mampu mengolah hasil olahan makanan bergizi yang mampu mencegah terjadinya stunting pada anak usia dini, 5) Belum ada pendampingan untuk pencegahan stunting pada anak usia dini pada kader Posyandu dan TP-PKK di Nagari Bayua, Kecamatan Tanjung Raya, Kabupaten agam . Solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan diatas ini adalah melalui pemberian pendampingan kepada kader posyandu dan PKK pada Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dalam Pencegahan Stunting Bagi Anak Usia Dini melalui Hasil Olahan Rinuak Dan Pensi di Nagari Bayua, Kecamatan Tanjung Raya, Kabupaten Agam. Rinuak dan pensi dapat diolah menjadi berbagai makanan yang menarik, seperti Nugget, dan bakso. Nugget dan Bakso merupakan jenis makanan olahan yang digemari oleh anak, sehingga anak akan tertarik untuk mengkonsumsi makanan bergizi. Pengolahan Rinuak dan Pensi tidak hanya menguntungkan untuk kesehatan gizi anak, Namun dengan olahan ini juga dapat memperbaiki pendapatan masyarakat setempat. Nagari bayua berada di sekitar Danau Maninjau yang mana salah satu daerah penghasil ikan rinuak dan pensi terbesar di Sumatera barat. Ikan Rinuak merupakan satwa endemik khas Danau Maninjau, Agam. Ikan rinuak memiliki kandungan protein yang tinggi, dan begitupun dengan Pensi memiliki kandungan protein 45% yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan daging sapi yang harganya relative lebih mahal. Namun masyarakat sekitar danau maninjau hanya membuat olahan rinuak dan pensi seperti palai rinuak, rinuak goreng, peyek rinuak sedangkan pensi hanya di tumis dan diberi bumbu. Metode yang akan digunakan memiliki beberapa tahapan antara lain : (1) Pembuatan Modul “cara dan antisipasi” pencegahan stanting (2) Pembuatan Resep olahan rinuak dan Pensi (3) Persiapan bahan olahan rinuak dan pensi (4) Pelatihan pembuatan hasil olahan rinuak dan pensi, (5) Pendampingan memasak olahan rinuak dan pensi (6) Praktek pengemasan hasil olahan rinuak dan pensi.

Abstract

Sangir Regency which is located in South Solok Regency, West Sumatra, Indonesia is potential for culinary tourism because the data obtained by the number of local entrepreneurs in the Sangir Nagari Sungai Kunyit area reveal that several communities of local entrepreneurs engaged in home-based culinary businesses. The lack of use of technology to grow the selling value of regional products is an obstacle for local business communities to develop their businesses. Local entrepreneurs lose competitiveness if they want to market their products more broadly. The demographic location of Nagari Sungai Kunyit, which is quite far from the city of Padang Aro, also makes the inclusion of marketing trend technology not well utilized by the community. The method used in this service activity is the following: the first step was preparation, including observation and licensing administration; the second step was training in a 2-day successive workshop; the third step was 1-day evaluation; and the last step was product marketing assistance through the UNP Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality. The existence of skills development training activities has succeeded in increasing the resources of the local Nagari Sungai Kunyit business community in the field of making logos, which have become reinforcements, providing added value to the products produced. Furthermore, it helps small entrepreneurs to make products more attractive because they have the characteristics of their respective logos. Increasing human resources in the field of branding design is expected to spur an increase in the people's economies in South Solok Regency. It is proven that this activity has increased local business sales turnover and entrepreneurs are more confident in marketing their products outside the region.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi belum optimalnya kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak usia 4-5 tahun dan kurang menariknya media yang digunakan oleh guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh media kantong bilangan terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak usia dini di taman kanak-kanak putih asri kamboja sumedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dalam bentuk Quasi Eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 39 anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Putih Asri Kamboja Sumedang. Teknik Pengambilan sampelnya yaitu purposive Sampling anak kelas A1 dan kelas A2, masing-masing berjumlah 11 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument penelitian berupa indikator-indikator yanag akan dicapai sebanyak 8 butir item, yang dilakukan melalui tes perbuatan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis, alat pengumpulan data menggunakan lembaran pernyataan. Data diolah dengan uji perbedaan (t-test) menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 15.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan mean yang diperoleh kedua kelompok, yaitu mean dari kelompok eksperimen sebesar 25,18 sedangkan untuk kelompok kontrol memperoleh nilai mean sebesar 23,63. Pada pengujian independent sampel t test diperoleh nilai sig (2 tailed) yakni sebesar 0,027 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penggunaan media kantong bilangan terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak usia dini di Taman Kanak-kanak Putih Asri Kamboja Sumedang Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

The development of children's creativity has not developed optimally, this can be seen from children's activities in generating new ideas and problem solving that have not been seen. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of inquiry-based collage activities using colored shells on the development of early childhood creativity. This type of research uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were all students in Adzkia Air Bangis Kindergarten with a sample of 60 students which included 30 students in B1 and 30 students in B2. Data collection techniques in this study is by observation. The data analysis technique used normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing, namely the independent sample test. Based on the results of this study, it was found that in the normality test the data were normally distributed with a significant value of Kolmogrov-Smirnov in each class, namely 0.05. In the homogeneity test, it was found that the value based on the mean was 0.789 0.05, which means the data is homogeneous. Meanwhile, in hypothesis testing, the value of sig (2 tailed) is 0.001 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that inquiry-based collage activities using colored shells have an effect on the development of creativity in early childhood

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of early childhood kinesthetic intelligence in State Kindergarten (TK) II Padang Pasir which uses a variety of strategies different from other kindergartens. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with the aim of describing the implementation of early childhood kinesthetic intelligence in State Kindergarten II Padang Pasir. The data collection technique is by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study in general that the implementation of early childhood kinesthetic intelligence in State Kindergarten II Padang Pasir is carried out as expected by referring to the standard indicators of children's development achievement levels. The implementation of kinesthetic intelligence in early childhood begins with designing learning, making and providing learning media. The teacher in using the strategy is in accordance with what has been planned. Strategies carried out by demonstration, direct practice, child-centered, guided inquiry, integrated learning and according to the needs of children. Evaluation in kinesthetic intelligence to see what indicators have developed in children using anecdotal record techniques, rating scales, and children's work. The results of research conducted at State Kindergarten II Padang Pasir on the implementation of children's kinesthetic intelligence in State Kindergarten II Padang Pasir can be concluded that the implementation of children's kinesthetic intelligence is in accordance with the beginning of learning which includes determining subjects, sub-topics, learning materials and program planning, creating and providing learning materials related to subjects and sub-sub topics. Teachers as strategic developers use methods and materials and research that are in accordance with the application of positive kinesthetic intelligence that has been determined.

Abstract

Early childhood is very fond of play activities. Based on observations in kindergarten group B, it was seen that 85% of children were not able to interact with friends and even teachers. This will have an impact on early childhood social development. The study aimed to analyze the use of percussion bottles filled with water on social development in children. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method uses a quantitative approach in the form of experimental quasi. The method used in collecting data is a test with early childhood research subjects. The instrument used in collecting data is the test question sheet. The technique used in analyzing data is inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results of the study werethat children in the experimental class who used percussion bottles filled with water had a higher average score when compared to children in the control class who used applause. It was concluded that percussion bottles filled with water are effectively used to develop social development in early childhood. Simple percussion ensembles can help improve the pleasant learning atmosphere in students so as to improve social development in children.
