Abstract

Abstract - Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are business activities that support economic growth and enhance Indonesia's economy. Garut Regency is one of the areas known for culinary, handicraft, tourism and household processed products in the District of Samarang, there are traditional food processing products. The purpose of this study is to find out what factors are driving the performance of SMEs in the wajit industry in Samarang district. The method used is descriptive analysis and exploratory factor analysis. Data collection techniques used were library studies and field studies. The sampling method used in this study is a nonprobability sampling technique that is saturated samples of 45 respondents. Factors that drive the performance of SMEs 24 factors that are examined by the reduction process there are only 10 factors that can be used as new factors, after extraction and rotation, which have a correlation value of only three components that are formed correctly. Wajit industry players should be able to implement the factors that drive these performance in order to survive and thrive in improving the economy and introduce Sundanese traditional food, one of which is wajit. Abstrak– Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) adalah kegitan usaha yang menunjang pertumbuhan ekonomi dan meningkatkan perekonomiaan Indonesia. Kabupaten Garut merupakan salah satu daerah yang dikenal karena kuliner, kerajinan, parawisata dan produk olahan rumah tangga di Kecamatan Samarang terdapat produk olahanan makanan tradisonal. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui fakto-faktor apa yang mendorong kinerja UKM pada industri wajit di kecamatan Samarang. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis faktor eksploratori. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan dan studi lapangan. Penarikan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik nonprobability sampling yaitu sampel jenuh sebanyak 45 responden. Faktor-faktor yang mendorong kinerja UKM 24 faktor yang diteliti dengan proses reduksi maka hanya terdapat 10 faktor yang dapat dijadikan faktor baru, setelah melakukan proses extraction dan rotation, yang memiliki nilai korelasi hanya terdapat tiga component yang terbentuk dengan tepat. Para pelaku industry wajit sebaiknya dapat mengimplementasikan faktor-faktor yang mendorong kinerja tersebut agar bertahan dan berkembang dalam meningkatkan perekonomian dan memperkenalkan makan tradisional khas sunda yaitu salah satunya wajit.

Abstract

This research purpose to analyze the strategic and technical to encourage the potential of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) from the Groundwater Tax sector owned by Garut Regency. In this research used the descriptive method of research and qualitative approach to obtain the illustration of groundwater tax potential in Garut Regency. The primary and secondary data obtained by depth-interview technique to The Regional Revenue Office of Garut Regency. The data analysis using the formula on the growth, contribution and potential. Besides that, in this research use SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors that influence the achievement of organizational goals based on strengths, weakness, opportunity, and threatness. The result of this research based on the growth measurement obtained the average of the ground water tax reached -13.65% while the contribution of ground water tax to the regional tax was 0.83%. Thus, to repair this condition based on the SWOT analysis the government of Garut Regency needs to conduct the intensification and extensification to increase groundwater tax revenues in Garut Regency as rejuvenating the policy of groundwater tax strategy in Garut Regency.

Abstract

Aim: This research aims to provide a detailed account of Muslim behavior according to Mudik norms. This is done to learn more about Mudik, the local wisdom that plays an important role in maintaining social harmony, by extracting precise data from its natural habitat.Method: This study used a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and written records. Purposive sampling was used in this study, and 27 participants from the Garut Bus Terminal and Garut Train Station were selected randomly as interviewees. Reduction, presentation, analysis, and interpretation were all used to parse and draw conclusions from the data.Findings: The findings demonstrate that Mudik, as indigenous knowledge, is still practiced for the same reason it was originally developed: to promote social cohesion and unity in the modern, interconnected world. According to in-depth interviews, most participants enjoyed the well-planned celebration of Eid. It turns out that the only place in the world where Muslims "over" celebrate Eid al-Fitr is Indonesia, where the holiday is associated with the end of a month-long fasting period that begins on the first day of the Islamic lunar calendar month of Shawwal.Implications/Novel Contribution: Insights into the complexities of the Mudik phenomenon can be gained from various disciplines, including sociology, religion, and economics, making this discussion all the more vital. In light of these findings, the recommendations made for future research into the positive economic effects of Eid homecoming are intriguing.
