Abstract

Background : The status of the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on daily activities, the existence of social restriction policies has resulted in more people staying at home and has an impact on physical fitness. Adolescents’' physical activity has been related to activities at school, because schools were closed by the government during the Covid-19 pandemic, adolescents did a lot of activities in a sitting position such as studying online, playing online games, reading, watching television / cellphones. Behavior at home alone will be dangerous if it is not accompanied by active physical activity. This study aims to look at the description of physical activity during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods : The research design used a cross sectional study, with adolescent respondents in the city of Mataram. Respondents were taken by random sampling and were willing to fill out informed consent. Physical activity questionnaire related to activities during the pandemic, frequency of sitting/lying down, frequency of standing/walking, frequency of lifting heavy weights, exercise habits, type of exercise, frequency of exercise, duration of exercise time, behavior of watching TV/mobile, length of time watching TV/mobile, habits cycling. Data were analyzed based on gender differences by univariate test, and using Chi Square test on physical activity. Results : Adolescent girls in this study were 85.14%, aged 19 years were 45.9%, and nutritional status was 5.4% underweight and 8.1% overweight. The results of the research showed that 90.5% of female adolescent girls were active at home, 54% of girls were sitting/lying down, while 63.6% of boys were standing/walking. The activity of lifting heavy weights is rarely carried out by teenage boys at 54.5%. Exercise habits were carried out by 90.9% male adolescents with 18.2% exercising 4-6 times/week, with a duration of 30 -60 minutes as much as 36.4%. Adolescent girls never cycled during the pandemic as much as 50.8%.Latar Belakang : Status pandemi Covid-19 berdampak terhadap aktivitas sehari-hari, adanya kebijakan kebijakan pembatasan sosial mengakibatkan masyarakat lebih banyak berdiam di rumah saja dan berdampak pada kebugaran fisik. Kuesioner aktivitas fisik terkait aktivitas selama pandemi, frekuensi duduk/berbaring, frekuensi berdiri/berjalan, frekuensi mengangkat beban berat, kebiasaan olahraga, jenis olahraga, frekuensi olahraga, durasi waktu olahraga, perilaku nonton TV/Hp, lama waktu nonton TV/Hp, kebiasaan bersepeda. Abstract

Background: Counseling on the practice of feeding infants and children to mothers with babies 0-24 months is an educational effort that can produce community behavior to increase knowledge (Suharjo, 2003). Counseling often carried out in the community by nutrition officers and posyandu cadres about feeding practices usually uses the lecture method and question and answer discussion. However, the method above makes the target bored quickly and less interested, so the results are not optimal. Another method that can help is participatory counseling or adult learning (POD), which emphasizes that participants are directly involved and carry out two-way communication and share experiences from each participant (Kemenkes, 2015). One of these methods is the participatory extension method. Research Methods: The study was carried out in the working area of the Kediri Health Center, West Lombok Regency, with 15 case groups and 15 control groups and had the same characteristics for three months, from September to November 2018. The study used a quasi-experimental method, pre-test post-test control group design. The data collected included data on characteristics, body weight, level of knowledge, and intake before and after giving participatory counseling interventions. Data analysis used an independent t-test to see the effect of participatory method counseling on children's growth status. Research Result: The results showed that the education level of all respondents (100%) achieved primary education, namely Elementary School (SD) and Junior High School (SMP). The results showed that the samples' average weight gain or growth status, treatment, and control, was 0.4 Kg. There is a significant effect on the growth status of children aged 12-24 months for weight gain in both cases and controls. Both have increased. Viewed from the level of knowledge, most of the respondents have a sufficient level of expertise, and the increase in the knowledge possessed by respondents in the treatment is not better than control. Conclusion: There is no effect of participatory method counseling on the level of knowledge of the case and control groups. Results counseling with participatory methods can change the eating patterns of children aged 12-24 months in the treatment group, as seen from the number, frequency, and variety of menus served by mothers of toddlers.  Suggestion: There needs to be a continuation of research with the same method, but the dependent variable is diet (amount, frequency, variety, and cleanliness)

Abstract

Background: Based on data from the 2022 Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI), the prevalence of stunting in West Nusa Tenggara reached 32.7%. Efforts to overcome stunting using a holistic approach must be carried out, including through the Family Posyandu. Various policies have been issued, one of which is the instruction of the Governor of West Nusa Tenggara No. 050.13/01/KUM of 2022 concerning the Optimization of Family Posyandu to accelerate stunting reduction in West Nusa Tenggara Province, but its implementation has not been widely evaluated. Therefore, it is necessary to study the effectiveness of its implementation to provide constructive suggestions for policymakers.Research Objective: This research aims to identify the implementation of family posyandu, identify factors that influence its success and hinder its implementation, and produce a policy brief related to optimizing family posyandu to accelerate stunting reduction.Research Methods: The research was conducted based on the criteria for an active posyandu, a stunting locus located in the Family Posyandu in the Parampuan Health Center Working Area, West Lombok Regency. Data was collected through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), in-depth interviews, and observations of the implementation of family posyandu.Research Result: The research results show that there needs to be more disclosure regarding foster parents' involvement in optimizing family posyandu to support efforts to accelerate stunting reduction. Several parties' roles involved in implementing family posyandu could be more optimal. Not all targets come to Posyandu, especially teenagers because it is held in the morning when teenagers are at school. Not all family posyandu cadres have received training that meets standards to meet cadre competencies. Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of family posyandu have yet to be carried out systematically and routinely. Optimizing the role of all parties involved in family posyandu needs to be carried out through increasing the number and capacity of family posyandu cadres on an ongoing basis, massive socialization through various media, systematic and routine monitoring and evaluation accompanied by follow-up efforts, and a well-developed family posyandu information system integrated to be implemented, starting from several pilot family posyandu, so that it can initiate the creation of a village health profile.
