Abstract

Abstrak Balita yang mengalami stunting akan memiliki tingkat kecerdasan yang tidak maksimal, serta menjadikan anak menjadi lebih rentan terhadap penyakit dan di masa depan dapat berisiko pada menurunnya tingkat produktivitas. Salah satu cara menurunkan angka stunting yaitu dengan meningkatkan asupan protein. Olahan nugget ikan kakap dibuat agar dapat dikonsumsi dan diterima oleh balita stunting. Kemudian dilakukan uji hedonik kepada 10 panelis terlatih. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 16 balita kelompok kasus dan 16 balita kelompok kontrol yang sudah sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan dan diukur tinggi badannya sebagai tinggi badan awal serta dilakukan recall protein awal. Kelompok kasus diberikan intervensi nugget ikan kakap, sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan intervensi. Penelitian dilakukan selama 1 bulan penuh dan dilakukan pengukuran tinggi badan kembali sebagai tinggi badan akhir dan recall protein akhir. Analisis pengaruh nugget ikan kakap dilakukan uji statistik General Linear Model (GLM). Hasil uji statistik diperoleh data yang berdistribusi normal dan homogen (α > 0,05). Hasil uji paired sample t test diperoleh nilai sig. < 0,05, artinya ada perbedaan tinggi badan yang bermakna antara kelompok kasus dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil uji GLM diperoleh nilai adjusted r square=0,361 dan p value=0,146, yang berarti tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan, hanya sebesar 36% pengaruh nugget ikan kakap terhadap perubahan tinggi badan balita stunting. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak ada pengaruh nugget ikan kakap terhadap perubahan tinggi badan balita stunting. Kata Kunci: Nugget Ikan Kakap, Balita Stunting, Tinggi Badan

Abstract

Kelor merupakan tanaman yang memiliki banyak manfaat sebagai bahan makanan dan obat – obatan. Kelor berkhasiat sebagai stimulan jantung dan perdaran darah, antitumor, antihipertensi, antihiperlipidemia, antioksidan, anti diabetik antibakteri, dan ant jamur. Komponen proksimat meliputi kadar air, kadar abu, karbohidrat, protein dan lemak. Serat pangan meliputi bagian bahan makanan yang tidak dapat di hidrolisis oleh enzim-enzim pencernaan. Komponen proksimat dan serat pangan merupakan dasar dari pengembangan suatu pangan fungsional. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi dan menentukan kadar komponen proksimat dan serat pangan yang terdapat pada tepung daun kelor yang berasal dari kabupaten kupang-NTT. Metode pembuatan tepung daun kelor dengan cara daun kelor di blansing kemudian dikeringkan dibawah sinar matahari lalu di blander dan di ayak. Analisis kandungan proksimat di lakukan di Laboratorium SIG, Bogor. Hasil analisis kandungan proksimat diperoleh hasil kadar air 6,96%, kadar abu 10,59%, kadar lemak 7,28%, kadar protein 27,27%, kadar karbohidrat 47,96%. Hasil analisis kandungan serat pangan diperoleh hasil 35,34%.

Abstract

The description of the nutritional status of children under five represents the degree of public health. Indonesia is experiencing multiple nutritional problems, namely the problem of undernutrition has not been completely resolved, the problem of overnutrition (obesity) appears. Nutritional status is influenced by unbalanced energy intake and infectious diseases. This is due to the level of education, knowledge, parenting patterns that are inappropriate and bad environmental sanitation. The biggest problem faced by the community is the low level of knowledge and skills of mothers about nutrition. This study aims to determine the relationship between mother's level of knowledge about nutrition and the nutritional status of children under five in Lembah Sari Village, West Lombok. This type of research is an observational study with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were mothers who have toddlers (aged 6-60 months) and their babies, totaling 55 people. Sampling technique with cluster random sampling. The results obtained based on the chi square test showed that there was a significant relationship between the mother's level of knowledge about nutrition and the nutritional status of children under five in Lembah Sari Village, West Lombok Regency with a p-value of 0.015. The results of the analysis of the relationship between the level of knowledge related to nutrition and the nutritional status of children under five, that was found that 7 respondents with less knowledge had poor nutritional status (46.67%). Two respondents with good knowledge had poor nutritional status (5%), while 8 respondents with poor knowledge had good nutritional status (53.33%) and 38 respondents with good knowledge had good nutritional status (95%). Conclusion: there is a relationship between the mother's level of knowledge about nutrition and the nutritional status of children under five in Lembah Sari Village, West Lombok Regency. Suggestion: it is necessary to add other variables that can affect the level of knowledge of mothers and caregivers regarding the nutritional status of children under five years.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious public health problem and its prevalence remains high, especially in developing countries. Stunting is caused by a lack of nutritional intake for a long time in the first 1000 days of life, which is a critical period. Posyandu is a form of Community Based Health effort (UKBM) carried out by, from, and with the community, to empower and provide convenience for the community to obtain health services for mothers, infants, and toddlers. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of cadres in preventing stunting and in Baby and Child Feeding counseling. This activity was carried out on February 21, 2022. The activity lasted for 3 hours and the participants who attended the training were 40 training cadres located in the Kuripan Utara Village Office Hall. The participants were very enthusiastic about participating in every material given in the training. The cadres of the training participants received clarification on various questions regarding nutrition that had been developing with an inaccurate understanding. Participants also became more aware of Baby and Child Feeding toddlers and could do counseling.

Abstract

Abstract  Primary school-age children are the age in which children are growing and developing both thinking and emotional abilities. The growth and development of a child are influenced by the intake of good nutrients obtained through dietary adjustments. This study aims to analyze the relationship between parental characteristics  (education, employment, and parental income) with the eating patterns of public primary school-age children in East Praya District, Central Lombok Regency. This research is an observational study with a cross-sectional design, data analysis using chi-square, and one way-ANOVA test.  The results of this study found that the eating patterns of primary school children were mostly in the sufficient category of 39,3%, and less in the category of 38,1%. P-value <0,05 which means that there is a significant relationship between parental characteristics (education, employment, and parental income) with the eating patterns of public primary school-age children. R square value of 29,0% shows that primary school-age children's eating patterns are influenced by 29,0% of the characteristics of parents (education, employment, and parents income). Parents need to pay attention to the quality of their primary-school-age children's eating patterns in a better direction.AbstrakUsia anak sekolah dasar merupakan usia dimna anak-anak mengalami tumbuh kembang baik kemampuan berfikir maupun emosional. Tumbuh kembang seorang anak dipengaruhi oleh asupan zat gizi yang baik yang diperoleh melalui pengaturan pola makan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara karakteristik orang tua (pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan pendapatan orang tua) dengan pola makan anak sekolah dasar negeri di kecamatan Praya Timur, kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan desain cross sectional, analisis data menggunakan chi square dan uji one way-ANOVA. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan pola makan anak sekolah dasar sebagian besar dalam kategori cukup 39,3%, dan kategori kurang 38,1%. Nilai p<0,05 yang artinya ada hubungan yang signifikan antara karakteristik orang tua (pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan pendapatan orang tua) dengan pola makan anak sekolah dasar negeri di kecamatan Praya Timur, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah.. Nilai r square 29,0% menunjukkan bahwa pola makan anak sekolah dasar di pengaruhi sebanyak 29,0% oleh karakteristik orang tua (pendidikan, pekerjaan dan pendapatan orang tua). Orang tua perlu memperhatikan kualitas pola makan ana- anak sekolah dasar mereka kearah yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Anemia merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan di dunia, terutama pada negara berkembang. Menurut WHO 2015 dua miliar penduduk dunia mengidap anemia. Sekitar 50% kasus anemia diakibatkan karena kekurangan zat besi. Prevalensi anemia pada remaja putri di dunia berkisar 40-88%. Angka kejadian anemia di Indonesia terbilang masih cukup tinggi. Berdasarkan data Riskesdas 2018, prevalensi anemia pada remaja putri sebesar 48,9% yang berarti 3-4 dari 10 remaja menderita anemia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan zat besi dan konsumsi tablet tambah darah terhadap kadar hemoglobin remaja putri anemia di SMAN 9 Mataram. Metode penelitian ini bersifat analitik kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah bagian dari populasi yang dilakukan dengan cara stratified random sampling. Sedangkan jumlah sampel penelitian didapatkan dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Dari 118 siswi, didapat sebanyak 55 responden. Pengumpulan data meliputi pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin, pengisian kuesioner, dan wawancara asupan zat besi menggunakan metode Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan zat besi (p= 0.000), dan konsumsi tablet tambah darah (p= 0.000) dengan kadar hemoglobin remaja putri anemia di SMAN 9 Mataram. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu remaja putri kelas XI di SMAN 9 Mataram yang menderita anemia sebanyak 85.5% dengan asupan zat besi kurang sebanyak 69.1% dan konsumsi tablet tambah darah tidak pernah sama sekali sebanyak 41.6%.

Abstract

Abstrak HUBUNGAN STATUS GIZI DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN ANAK USIA 1-5 TAHUN DI KELURAHAN CAKRANEGARA SELATAN Aloysius Adhi Pratama Latar belakang: Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak merupakan suatu periode yang menentukan kualitas anak di masa depan. Kualitas gizi yang baik merupakan faktor kunci dalam memastikan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang optimal pada masa anak-anak. Status gizi yang memadai memberikan dasar yang kuat bagi perkembangan fisik, kognitif, dan emosional anak. Sebaliknya, kekurangan gizi atau malnutrisi dapat memiliki dampak negatif yang serius terhadap perkembangan anak. Metodologi: Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian analitik dengan tipe korelasional dengan desain cross sectional yang merupakan penelitian berorientasi pada waktu serta observasi pada kedua variabel. Sampel sebanyak 90 orang diperoleh dengan teknik simple random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji analisa chi-aquare. Hasil Penelitian: Responden yang memiliki status gizi kurang sebanyak 13 anak (14,4%), status gizi normal sebanyak 74 anak (82,2%), status gizi lebih sebanyak 3 anak (3,3%) dan yang memiliki perkembangan penyimpangan sebanyak 5 anak (5,6%), perkembangan meragukan sebanyak 17 anak (18,9), perkembangan sesuai sebanyak 68 anak (75,6%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan p value < 0,05 sebesar 0,000 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara status gizi (BB/U) dengan perkembangan anak usia 1-5 tahun di Kelurahan Cakranegara. Kesimpulan: Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa status gizi memiliki hubungan dengan perkembangan anak. Aloysius Adhi Pratama Background: Growth and development in children represent a critical period that determines their future quality of life. Adequate nutritional quality is a key factor in ensuring optimal growth and development during childhood. Proper nutritional status provides a strong foundation for the physical, cognitive, and emotional development of children. Conversely, nutritional deficiencies or malnutrition can have serious negative impacts on child development. Methods: This research design employs an analytical research design with a correlational type and a cross-sectional design, which focuses on time-oriented and observational study of two variables. The sample consists of 90 individuals obtained using a simple random sampling technique. The study utilizes the chi-square analysis test. Results: Respondents who had malnutrition status were 13 children (14.4%), those with normal nutritional status were 74 children (82.2%), those with overnutrition were 3 children (3.3%), those with developmental deviations were 5 children (5.6%), those with questionable development were 17 children (18.9%), and those with appropriate development were 68 children (75.6%). The research results showed a p-value < 0.05 of 0.000, indicating a significant relationship between nutritional status (weight/age) and the development of children aged 1-5 years in Cakranegara Village. Conclusion: From the research results, it can be concluded that nutritional status is associated with child development. Keywords : Toddlers; Nutritional Status; Child Development.

Abstract

Early marriage still needs to be a concern due to the high incidence of cases and the impact it has on the health and nutritional status of toddlers. One of the long-term effects of early marriage is stunting, namely impaired growth and development in toddlers due to malnutrition. This study aims to explore the relationship between maternal age at marriage and nutrition knowledge levels with the nutritional status of toddlers. This research uses observational research with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study was 48 mothers of toddlers with a history of early marriage. Data analysis used Spearman’s Rank test. The results showed that most of the mothers of toddlers married in their early adolescence (14 to 18 years), namely 29 people (60.4%). As many as 58.3% of toddlers have poor nutritional status, and 1.7% are in the good nutritional status category. The majority of mothers’ knowledge related to nutrition is lacking, as many as 24 (50%). There is a significant relationship between levels of a mother’s knowledge about nutrition and the nutritional status of toddlers with a p-value of 0.001. However, mothers who marry early need to increase their understanding of balanced nutrition in toddlers to prevent malnutrition. Future research needs to look at the nutritional status of toddlers based on the education level of mothers of toddlers who marry early, which may be one of the causes of malnutrition status in toddlers.
