Abstract

Production activities at manufacture companies are often inconvenient. One of them is due to the incompatibility of workersanthropometry with the work facilities used. Disergonomics like this will cause complaints in the skeletal system. Complaints to this damage are termed musculoskeletal disorder (MSDS). The production process of making shoes at UD. Kurnia at the subordinate work station identified that work posture has the potential to cause injury to the arm, back and leg muscles with a percentage of 66.67%, 68.89% and 30%. So it is necessary to improve work posture. In this study, the OWAS method was used to identify and evaluate hazardous work postures. Meanwhile, to improve work posture, work facilities are designed using anthropometric data for subordinate work station workers. Owas identification results show that the work posture is more ergonomic. Then the results of the WinOwas software show that the improvement of work posture with the design of work facilities is included in category 1. Which means that the work posture is not dangerous. So it is directly believed that workers complaints on skeletal muscles or MSDs at subordinate work stations can be minimized.

Abstract

One of the companies in East Bekasi is a company engaged in the bread industry, with the product being sandwiches. The purpose of this research is to perform raw material efficiency and cost savings of raw material inventory. In this study, identified the bread production process for 1 period (3 months). It is known that this company ordered raw materials, namely 2100 kg of flour and 480 kg of granulated sugar. However, in reality, only 1537 kg of wheat flour was used and 379 kg of granulated sugar. There is a difference between ordering raw materials and using raw materials so that the costs incurred in carrying out raw material inventory exceed the limits of the costs that have been determined by the company. The method used is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The goal is to control the number of raw material orders made by this company and indirectly to save raw material inventory costs. The findings are comparing calculations by companies using EOQ, the efficiency of raw materials after using the EOQ method for wheat flour is 542 kg and granulated sugar is 93 kg and savings in raw material inventory costs for wheat flour is Rp. 156,437 and granulated sugar is Rp. 212,092.

Family Farma Pharmacy is a pharmacy that provides pharmaceutical services in Bekasi Regency. There are 50 types of medicines provided in this pharmacy, but there is no medicine grouping yet. Medicine inventory control is still done manually or by monitoring medicine stocks one by one. So there is no precise and effective calculation to determine total reorders. Therefore, the aim of this research is to grouping medicines, control medicine supplies and reorder it. The methods used are Always Better Control (ABC), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and Reorder Point (ROP). The findings obtained were by grouping 50 types of medicines to obtain 10 types of medicines belonging to group A, 10 types of medicines in Group B, and 30 types of medicines in Group C based on the results of the ABC method. Then the EOQ results showed that the optimal order for Cataflam 50 Mg was made for 158 strips. By reordering the Cataflam 50 Mg medicine when the medicine stock reaches 15 strips in each product inventory which still has 23 strips remaining based on the ROP results
