Mothers have multi-task that must be done every day. Household problem, work problem and also the economic problem experienced by many mothers in the District of Kepulauan Meranti became the causes of stress experienced by mothers that affect how she respond the environment, also affect the child rearing. The ability to deal with problems is called resilience. This study aims to examine the resilience of mothers who come from low income families in the District of Kepulauan Meranti. This study used descriptive quantitative method. Sampling method used is random sampling and there are 70 mothers as sample. It was found that the mother's resilience was 73,03%. Mothers in Kepulauan Meranti District is resilience eventough they have ti struggle with many stressfull condition. The support from spouse and relatives which offer the positive relationship help mothers to overcome stress and become resilience. Mother need to be resilient to deal with her multi-task, mainly in child rearing.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, school from home (SFH) policy was regulated with the aim of inhibiting the spread of the virus. The SFH process makes children interact frequently with gadgets because learning is occurred online, however in practice, they must refer to the national curriculum. This study aims to find out the effects of using gadgets during the Covid-19 pandemic on children's behavior. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population of the study were 74 kindergarten’ students in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. Researchers took 50% of the population so that from 74 people, 30 children were taken to be the trial sample and the rest were the research samples, as many as 37 children. The results showed that the most dominant effect of using gadgets during the Covid-19 pandemic on children's behavior was in the compulsion indicator. For further research, it can be investigated the influence of these aspects with parenting styles.

The general objective in this study was to determine the description of the use of devices in alphageneration children in Pekanbaru City. The gadget comes from English which means small electronic devices that havespecial functions. Among smartphones like the iPhone and Blackberry, and netbooks (a combination of portablecomputers such as notebooks and the internet). In Indonesian the word gadget is often also referred to as a gadget.This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City in 12 Districts. The results of the study explained that the gadget devicesthat children use are still borrowing parents, the type of gadget that children use the most is smartphones, the activitiesthat children do other than using gadgets most often are playing outside the home, the places where children use themost gadgets use the family room , the time to use the gadget for children is not every day, namely on certain days suchas holidays, the application that is often used by children is Youtube, complaints from children after using the gadgetare raging if not given a gadget, and accounts that most children have are YouTube channels.

Peran orang tua sangat diperlukan dalam proses pembelajaran dirumah salama pandemic Covid-19 dalam memberikan edukasi dan pemahaman kepada anak yang untuk beraktivitas didalam rumah. Peran orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran dirumah adalah mendampingi anak dalam belajar dan beraktivitas pada kegiatan postif dan konstruktif. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran orang tua anak usia dini dalam menerapkan pembelajaran di rumah saat pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang dilakukan di Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau. Sampel penelitian ini memfokuskan pada orang tua yang memiliki anak usia dini yang berjumlah 69 orang tua. Adapun penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Setelah data terkumpul, maka akan dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penyajian data dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran orangtua dalam menerapkan pembelajaran di rumah saat pandemi Covid-19 ditinjau dari aspek orang tua sebagai guru di rumah, sebagai fasilitator, sebagai motivator, dan sebagai pemberi pengaruh atau director. Secara keseluruhan diperoleh persentase sebesar 82,8% dan termasuk ke dalam kriteria sangat baik. Artinya orang tua telah berperan bagi anak dalam menerapkan pembelajaran di rumah saat pandemi Covid-19

Saat ini orang tua membutuhkan platform baru yang dapat diakses di mana saja dan kapan saja untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang bullying. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua tentang bullying menggunakan aplikasi smart parenting melalui penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy exsperiment) dengan desain the posttest-only control-group desain. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah orang tua anak usia dini yang berjumlah 30 orang di Kota Pekanbaru. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel ini adalah teknik random sampling. Menggunakan dua kelas yakni kelas eksperimen untuk diberikan perlakuan dan kelas kontrol. Alat pengumpulan data berupa angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan penggunan aplikasi smart parenting dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua tentang bullying dengan hasil rata-rata eksperimen 77,77 dan kontrol 70,83. Dengan demikian, aplikasi smart parenting dapat membantu orang tua memahami definisi bullying, bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying, hingga pencegahan dan solusi menghadapi permasalahan bullying

This study utilized a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. This study aimed to determine the parents’ involvement in early childhood learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. Early childhood needs assistance during the learning process from home; therefore, the role of parents is very crucial since it gives a long-term impact on children's development. Changes in the atmosphere and climate of learning activities from the classroom to the home centainly bring new challenges. Respondents in this research were 102 parents with 4-6 years old-children in Pekanbaru. The samples were selected by using random sampling technique. The data analysis was presented in table. Overall, the results of the study on parents’ involvement which consisted of three indicators (parents' motivation, parents' perceptions of other people's invitations to be involved in children's education, and parents’ feeling) was generally high. This indicated that parents possessed good motivation to assist children in learning by understanding their important role and having confidence in accompanying childrens’ learning activities.

Kejujuran sangat penting ditanamkan sejak dini. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan jujur pada anak melalui permainan congklak di Kampung Maredan Barat. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan action research dengan 2 siklus . Yang menjadi subjek pada penelitian ini adalah anak-anak Kampung Maredan Barat sebanyak 6 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan secara langsung, melaksanakan wawancara dan mendokumentasikan. Teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa permainan congklak dapat meningkatkan character value jujur anak, karena dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap perilaku jujur anak. Karakter jujur anak dapat dilihat dari setiap siklus, yang mana setiap siklusnya mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Pada tahap pra-tindakan diperoleh persentase 26,67% dengan kriteria Mulai Berkembang (MB). Pada siklus pertama diperoleh persentase 43,33% dengan kriteria Mulai Berkembang (MB). Pada siklus kedua terjadi peningkatan dengan persentase 79,6% dengan kriteria Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB).

Making and compiling teaching materials is a must for teachers to be able to present exciting learning. Tambang District is one of the sub-districts in Kampar Regency, Riau Province, that requires online training in teaching materials for early childhood. This is because many teachers still have not been able to present exciting teaching materials when doing online learning. Teachers only tend to give assignments to children through the WhatsApp platform media. If this condition is allowed to drag on, it may significantly affect early childhood development. The training is carried out using an information discussion approach and practicing making and preparing teaching materials. Early childhood education teachers are guided in making and compiling teaching materials. Based on the output of IBM SPSS Ver.23, it is known that tcount > t table (16.492> 2.11) and Sig (0.000 <0.05) then H0 is rejected, which means that there is a significant effect of training in making online-based early childhood teaching materials on the teacher's ability to make teaching materials. Based on the service activities that have been carried out, it can be recommended that training activities for the preparation of online-based early childhood teaching materials are needed.

Pendidik yang profesional dibuktikan dengan kompetensi dan kinerja yang dapat mendukung kualitas pendidikan. Salah satu faktor terpenting dalam meningkatkan kualitas Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini adalah pengembangan pribadi, ilmiah, dan pengembangan professional. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan profesional pendidik dilihat dari tren, riset dan praktik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan studi literature review. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan profesional guru dilakukan dengan cara melibatkan guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, pekerjaan, fokus instruksional, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan sehingga menjadi tolak ukur perbaikan dalam praktik belajar dan mengajar. Di Indonesia, pendidik yang kompeten dan profesional dapat dibuktikan dengan perolehan sertifikasi guru mengikuti tunjangan yang memadai sesuai dengan ukuran Indonesia. Sedangkan di Eropa dan USA adanya beasiswa bersama dalam pendidikan guru untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi dalam pengembangan professional. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk menjelaskan kerangka desain untuk menganalisis pengembangan professional pendidik anak usia dini yang dapat diimplementasikan dalam konteks studi empiris dengan negara yang berbeda.
