Abstract

Ikatan Alumni FKIP  adalah mitra masa depan bangsa dengan membawa marwah fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan dimana almamater mereka berasal karena di era digital dan sulitnya menempuh dunia kerja maka sangat diperlukan skill berbahasa inggris agar dapat berkomunikasi secara international di era globalisasi. Permasalahan mitra yang sangat komplek adalah keterampilan bahasa inggris dalam hal skor TOEFL yang memadai untuk menempuh pekerjaan hanya aktif selama dua tahun. Metode pendekatan guna menyelesaikan permasalahan terdiri dari persiapan, penjelasan, pelatihan dan evaluasi. Justifikasi masalah yang telah diterima bersama antara tim dosen dan mitra adalah tim pengabdian akan memberikan pelatihan dan pengajaran dalam memanfaatkan bahasa inggris berbasis poster stiker pada alumni FKIP yang berkaitan dengan TOEFL TPT sebagai cara untuk membentuk skill berkomunikasi berbahasa internasional. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah setiap tahapan yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini terlaksana dengan aman, baik, dan harmonis. Instruktur dapat memberikan pengarahan dan pembelajaran yang menarik tentang tes TOEFL TPT melalui bantuan poster stiker yang berisikan informasi berupa trick dan kita dalam menyelesaikan te TOEFL TPT secara cermat, tepat dan mudah

Abstract

Kegiatan untuk melanjutkan studi ke luar negeri sangat didambakan dan menjadi primadona bagi kalangan masyarakat di Kota Langsa. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu alumni lulusan Universitas Samudra serta masyarakat kota langsa secara umum adalah kurangnya pengetahuan ataupun sosialisasi yang diadakan berkaitan dengan informasi baik dalam hal persiapan untuk pendaftaran, beasiswa yang tersedia beserta persyaratan dokumen untuk berangkat ke negara tujuan. Metode penyelesaian masalah  dalam menangani permasalahan mitra berkaitan dengan motivasi untuk dapat melanjutkan studi ke luar negeri adalah dengan melakukan pelatihan persiapan melanjutkan studi ke luar negeri secara formal dengan mengundang peserta mitra yang berasal dari alumni dan masyarakat di Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Samudra. Metode yang digunakan berupa tiga tahapan yaitu tahapan persiapan, tahapan pelaksanaan dan tahapan evaluasi. Hasil dari monitoring ini diperoleh telah ada mitra yang menembus beasiswa dan mayoritas masih berusaha untuk memilki persyaratan wajib berupa pemenuhan skors ambang batas persyaratan beasiswa dari tes TOEFL ITP.

Abstract

The urgency of this research lies in the importance of studying the impact of artificial intelligence (AI)-based ornamental plant photography applications by wives on the mental health of civil servants because the crisis of mental illness such as stress, anxiety, and depression has taken a toll on the psychology and led to physical illness of civil servants in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to develop the usefulness of the function of AI-based photography applications to reduce the crisis of mental illness of civil servants through wives' hobbies for ornamental plants which can be an alternative cure. The method in this study uses an ethnographic approach which functions to determine the effect of AI-based photography applications on ornamental plant hobbies by wives in minimizing the influence of mental illness of civil servants in accordance with the views embedded in the minds of the people in Aceh. The steps of the critical ethnographic approach include: determining the research location, determining research informants, interviewing informants, making ethnographic notes, asking descriptive questions, analyzing interview results, submitting domain analysis, utilizing interpretive approaches and critical findings, actively involving participants, and emphasizing reflexivity and ethical responsibility. The conclusion of the study of 50 respondents in the activity of photographing and obtaining information from three types of ornamental plants is that this can suppress mental illness, make people happy, and relieve stress.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to develop digital-based learning media in the form of Disaster Mitigation Maps as a learning resource in identifying disaster-prone areas in Langsa City. With the increasing risk of natural disasters such as floods, landslides, tsunamis, earthquakes, forest and land fires, and thawing disasters, innovation is needed in delivering disaster mitigation information that is more interactive and easily accessible. Methodology: The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires involving disaster experts, educators, and students as the main respondents. Main Findings: The results of the study show that the Digital Disaster Mitigation Map can improve students' understanding in identifying disaster-prone areas and mitigation measures that need to be taken. This media is also considered effective and attractive based on the results of expert validation and user trials. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study found that the Digital Disaster Mitigation Map was effective in increasing students' understanding of disaster-prone areas in Langsa City with an increase in understanding from 60% to 85%, and was considered innovative and effective by 90% of teachers compared to conventional methods.
