Abstract

The Impact of Work Period toward The Performance of Employees of Nagoya Plasa Hotel Batam. The purpose of thisstudy is to determine the impact of work period on the performance of employees of Nagoya Plaza Hotel Batam. Theresearch was conducted on 96 employees by using saturated sample method which are employees of Hotel Nagoya PlasaBatam. Based on the results of the study note that the results of items validity test show all indicators are valid , reliabilitytest results indicate that all items reliable, results of adjusted R2 test shows 13.60% the value of the dependent variable isdetermined by the independent variable which means that 86.40% effected by outside factors , the result of Ftest show theregression model is fit to be used and show a significant influence simultaneously, the result of ttest show the work periodhave a significant and a positive impact on the performance of employees. The results of this study can be used asreference materials for hotel management in implementing employee performance improvement strategies.

Abstract

The modern museum management is needed to increase the number of tourists visiting the museum. Museum House of Sampoerna is a museum that has been trying to implement a modern museum management so as to change the public's perception of the museum. In general, people have almost the same perception of museums including that the museum was not clean, has a characteristic odor, poor service, facilities are extremely limited, and the museum only be visited once in a lifetime. This study was conducted to determine the extent of the potential of a modern musem if it is managed as a tourist destination in its efforts to attract foreign tourists and domestic tourists with case study on Museum House of Sampoerna, which is as a major tourist destination of Surabaya. The method used in this research is to analyze the data and information obtained from the field research and documentation using SWOT analysis and describe the results of the analysis to the purpose to be achieved by this research. The results showed that the museum House of Sampoerna has tried to make a modern museum management by providing support facilities are modern that can add convenience and attract tourists to visit this museum. Modern facilities provided by the museum house of sampoerna were art gallery, cafe, souvenir shop, public areas for art events, and bus to Surabaya heritage track program. Modern museum management will increase visits to the museum and even tourists will visit more than one time in a lifetime. This study has limitations that the data and information not obtained from all stakeholders of a museum, but only from researcher observation, documentation and interview with the management. Suggested for further research to use visitors as a respondent to represent the public perception of the museum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai model konseptual yang dapat dikembangkan terkait dengan Leader’s Personalitydengan menggunakan metode studi literatur dan perbandingan penelitian-penelitian terdahulu. Abstract

Sektor pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) di Surabaya sedang berupaya keras untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan jumlah pendaftaran siswa di tengah persaingan yang ketat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari berbagai strategi promosi, seperti penjualan personal, promosi penjualan, media sosial, dan hubungan masyarakat terhadap keputusan memilih PAUD PPT Matahari di Surabaya. Menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif, data akan dikumpulkan melalui survei yang disebarkan kepada orang tua peserta didik di PAUD PPT Matahari Surabaya. Analisis statistik akan diterapkan untuk menentukan signifikansi dan kekuatan pengaruh masing-masing elemen promosi terhadap keputusan memilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penjualan personal, promosi penjualan, iklan, dan hubungan masyarakat, baik secara parsial maupun bersama-sama, memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan memilih PAUD PPT Matahari. Disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian dengan cakupan area yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas e-commerce dalam meningkatkan penjualan produk UMKM binaan BSI UMKM Center Surabaya melalui pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel purposif 35 UMKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan transformasi signifikan pada struktur omzet, berupa penurunan 26,7% pada kategori omzet rendah (<Rp500.000/bulan) dan peningkatan 30% pada segmen menengah (Rp2-5 juta/bulan), dengan faktor pendorong utama meliputi strategi reputasi digital melalui ulasan positif (37%) dan konten interaktif live streaming (27%). Temuan mengidentifikasi hambatan kritis berupa persaingan harga (40%) dan keterbatasan literasi digital (33%), yang memerlukan pendekatan pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung dan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa adopsi e-commerce efektif sebagai katalis transformasi digital UMKM, dengan rekomendasi pengembangan modul pelatihan lanjutan yang terintegrasi dengan platform dominan (Shopee, TikTok) dan monitoring pasca-pelatihan untuk keberlanjutan hasil.

Abstract

Tujuan utama studi ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh signifikan dari tiga variabel kunci - harga produk, evaluasi produk (rating), dan umpan balik pembeli (review) - terhadap perilaku pembelian konsumen di marketplace Shopee. Latar belakang studi ini timbul asal pesatnya perkembangan industri e-commerce yg telah membarui pola perilaku konsumen, pada mana keputusan pembelian sekarang poly ditentukan sang gosip digital mirip harga, rating produk, dan ulasan berasal pengguna lain.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanatif, guna menguji hubungan sebab- dampak antara variabel-variabel yg diteliti. Data dikumpulkan melalui informasi lapangan online yg disebarkan pada pengguna Shopee yang sudah melakukan transaksi pembelian dalam kurun waktu enam bulan terakhir. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode regresi linier berganda guna menganalisis pengaruh gabungan (simultan) maupun individual (parsial) variabel-variabel prediktor terhadap variabel   terikat   keputusan   pembelian.Sesuai akibat analisis, diketahui bahwa secara simultan, harga, rating, serta ulasan mempunyai imbas yg signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen pada melakukan pembelian. namun, ketika dicermati secara terpisah (parsial), hanya variabel harga yg menunjukkan dampak yg signifikan, sedangkan rating dan ulasan tidak memberikan akibat yg berarti. akibat ini menandakan bahwa harga masih sebagai pertimbangan primer konsumen dalam berbelanja di Shopee. Temuan ini bisa dimanfaatkan sang para pelaku bisnis daring buat merumuskan seni manajemen penetapan harga yang lebih kompetitif dan selaras dengan preferensi pasar.

Abstract

Employee productivity plays an important role in determining the success of an institution, especially in government agencies such as the General Bureau within the Regional Secretariat of East Java Province. This study was designed to evaluate the impact of work-life balance, work motivation, and employee satisfaction levels on staff performance. A quantitative method was employed through a survey of 39 permanent employees. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity). Results revealed that work the analysis results showed that work enthusiasm had a significant impact on performance (β=0.893; p=0.000). Meanwhile, work-life balance (p=0.249) and job satisfaction (p=0.406) did not have a significant impact the findings reinforce motivation as the primary driver of bureaucratic performance while challenging conventional assumptions about WLB and job satisfaction. Practically, organizations should prioritize evidence-based policies to enhance intrinsic motivation. Further research should explore mediating variables such as organizational culture.
