Abstract

The impact of climate change caused by global warming is currently one of the trending topics in various media and it is an extremely serious threat to human security. Forest fires, floods, landslides and changes in lifestyles to survive natural disasters are the very significant contributing factors to poverty rates in various parts of the world. The London School of Economics and Political Science conducted a study of 141 countries affected by disasters in the 1981-2002 period and found a close link between natural disasters and women's socioeconomic status. Data from the National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB) states that women have 14 times of risk for becoming victims of disasters compared to adult men. Women become the most victimized because women prioritize children and their families rather than saving themselves. Although women bear more risks to climate change, women can also have the principal opportunity and role in implementing climate change mitigation adaptation, namely by making women actors in disaster mitigation and drivers of change in parallel to their strong responsibilities to their families. By providing adequate knowledge for women about adaptation and mitigation of disasters, the women can turn themselves to be the strategic activists in coping with disasters for communities living in disaster-prone areas.This study is a comparative discussion of three research results to obtain an overview and find solutions to women's problems from the consequences of climate change, which is a study by changing women from being the most victims of natural disasters to becoming the driving actor for families and communities in overcoming disaster and her ability to survive the post-disaster situation. The conclusion is the three levels of gender roles related to climate change to increase women's adaptive capacity. An adaptation strategy needs the form of 1. Increasing the role of women in the political arena. It is a crucial issue because women's rights can be protected by their presence and role, as well as women in guarding policies. 2. Increasing the role of women in the realm of education. Education is no less important than politics because education will provide a foundation for understanding and self-confidence, bargaining and personal branding for women so that their presence in society will be recognized and will no longer be discriminated. 3. Cultural reconstruction based on gender equality is very important because so far, the notion of patriarchy is still inherent in our culture. Many perspectives are cooptated on the statement that superior (men) are stronger then give rise women mythos that is said to be weak (women). In reality, the presence of women is still fundamental to the aspect of maintaining the economy and education for the continuation and the quality of the life in the society.

Abstract

Parenting for early childhood should be prioritized due to the importance of both physical and psychological aspects of children’s growth and development. A parenting model accompanied by parents, teachers and also psychological experts will result the balance oh physical and psychological health of the children. The development of social media like WhatsApp Messenger which has not been used optimally for parenting support socialization could be mentioned as an unfortunate chance. Due to that matter, the purpose of this research, thus: to describe the existing communication flow between parents and the school of TK Islam Mutiara Hikmah dan TK Lalita Kita Bintaro, to describe the result of parenting support model development in the teachers’ and parents’ behavior, and to find supporting and challenging factors to the communication development of the parenting model support that uses the WhatsApp Messenger. Methodology used in this research is descriptive methodology by the qualitative approach. Furthermore, the informants are invited by purposive and accidental methods. The informants consisted of two educators at TK Mutiara Hikmah, two psychologists from both schools, two educators at TK Lalita Kita Bintaro, eight students’ guardians from TK Mutiara Hikmah and nine students’ guardians from TK Lalita kita Bintaro. Data collection is conducted by doing in- depth interviews, documentations, and observation. The data analysis technique is conducted by using qualitative analytical method and descriptive method periodically since the beginning of data collection to the end of the research. To create the meaning of concluded data, researchers did the data analysis and the interpretation. The validity of data is tested by implementing source triangulation. Research output is to develop the communication model of parenting support by using WhatsApp Messenger. Theoretical basis used in this research is Osgood and Schramm’s Circular Communication Model. This model of communication is laid on the understanding that communication is conducted by two sides. Osgood explains that communication exists circularly rather than in linear way. The research is done for 6 months from January 25–July 25 2018. The results show: 1. The description of communication flow between teachers and parents has not been carried out in significant way since there are many parents working. Thus, the researchers tried to develop the communication model for parenting support by using WhatsApp Messenger to ease the more interactive communication for working parents. Furthermore, the use of social media could also ease the delivery of parenting support materials such as, curriculums, school’s subjects, and the announcements so that more dynamical communications with feedback can exist. 2. The result of parenting support model development is the coordination of the parenting support program can be done easier and optimally for those who already have the WhatsApp Messenger account. The delivery of materials and discussions via WhatsApp Messenger gives solution for parenting support problem. Significant results are as follow: a. Parents got helped by sharing activities via WhatsApp Messenger, b. Those materials shared via WhatsApp made children more independent and easier to control the psychological development, c. Children get braver at school and hyperactive children get calmer, d. Facilitating the problem solving process, e. Changing of children’s behavior such as, communication skills, concern feelings, and getting more method of learning and playing based on the ages, f. Raising concern for parents about all aspects of children’s growth and development, g. Giving more knowledge of parenting to parents by visualizing it through videos and variative tutorials. Supporting and challenging factors to the development of communication model via WhatsApp Messenger are as follow: internet connection service, financial problem of parents to provide the facilities and phycologists, schools’ poor facilities and infrastructures, and poor parents’ role since they are working are the challenging factors. While supporting factors are parents’ concern, internet connection, dynamic discussion between parents and teachers so that parents could easily implement the materials at home, and facilities provided by school, teachers’ concerns to children’s psychological development. Communication flow between parents and teachers has not been conducted optimally even though WhatsApp Messenger was already used by them, this model is positively reacted by the school and parents, and also, the benefits are considered directly. Furthermore, significant factors for the success of this model is human resources, facilities and infrastructure, and financial problems.

Abstract

A virtual world had been created to join the world of reality. Activities of political elites, especially in a political  setting,  with  the  efficacy  of  the  strategy  by  clicking  and  engineering  the  public  opinion  of discourses; war discourse by harnessing the power of media. Social media in a time vortex became a very  significant  machine  to  determine  our  lifestyles,  political  attitudes  in  addition  to  bring  online  a very lucrative business online, including politics. Mingling of political and economic interests became so  dominant  in  the  realm  of  the  media  industry.  The  presence  of  social  cyber  space  provided  a  new perspective  in  understanding  the  development  of  political  discourse.  In  this  virtual  world  era,  the current information relating to politics is easy to obtain and there had  been a fatality information that ended up being a mockery, entertainment and humor that no longer had a value, function and meaning, they  were mingled and distorted by the capitalist interests  who only promote business oriented alone regardless of content. The presence of social media became an implement of shaping the new culture included  culture  and  attitudes  of  political  elites,  mirror-imaging  and  political  marketing  that  had created  divisions  and  made  the  boxes  of  support  political  for  the  political  actors  with  political advertising strategy in the form of imaging. Accommodations of mass media for the image of politics were understood in the perspective of the economy, especially  in the law of supply and demand that became  the  logical  characteristic  and  market  regulation.  When  politic  become  a  commodity,  and ultimately the reality of elections can be capitalized, the media and the public image of political cyber regarded as legitimate and so natural, and everyone is free to create strategies to meet their interests.Keywords: Political Communication, Elites, Virtual Culture

Abstract

Youth is the future asset of a nation. But nowadays a lot is happening to teenagers, such as drugs and motorcycle gangs. This is a familiar problem. Juvenile delinquency includes all behaviors that deviate from the norms of criminal law committed by juveniles. There are so many internal and external factors that cause juvenile delinquency that need to be considered. To overcome this, guidance from parents and also a good environment can be a determinant for the development of the teenager. Based on the results of several studies, it was found that one of the causes of juvenile delinquency is the lack of functioning of the role of parents as role models for their children. The atmosphere in the family that causes discomfort for children is also one of the causes, including the divorce of their parents. Often they commit crimes because they feel they are not cared for by their parents who work too often without paying attention to the child's development. Teenagers who commit crimes generally lack self-control, or actually abuse that self-control, and like to enforce their own rules without paying attention to the presence of other people around them.

Abstract

This article will describe the stages of campaign strategic management in handling the Covid 19 vaccine polemic in Mungka District. The approach used in this article is a qualitative descriptive method. The primary data source used comes from in-depth interviews with three informants and secondary data sources are obtained from documentation and also from various journals from relevant books. The analysis technique in this article is to collect data, examine the collected data, categorize, then test the data, and finally combine all the data by placing the information in chronological order or other order and drawing conclusions. The findings showed that in carrying out the campaign, Mungka District had carried out all the processes of strategic management starting from awareness, formulation, implementation and finally monitoring and evaluating the campaigns that had been carried out. The results of the campaign were stated to be quite effective because they were able to significantly increase the number of people receiving the vaccine.

Abstract

Tinjauan ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis secara kritis hubungan kompleks antara Pemilu 2024, media massa, dan aspek ekonomi politik yang memengaruhi dinamika politik dalam konteks pemilihan umum, serta bagaimana media massa mampu menciptakan "simulakra," yang saat ini telah mendominasi realitas politik. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode literature review . Hasil penelitian tinjauan pustaka menunjukkan bahwa d menghadapi Pemilu 2024 di Indonesia, media massa, yang seharusnya menjadi penyalur kepentingan publik, menghadapi tantangan serius. Potensi kekuasaannya terkooptasi oleh kepentingan bisnis dan politik, terutama melalui oligarki media, yang dapat mengancam demokrasi. Dinamika kompleks antara media massa, politik, dan ekonomi menciptakan risiko pembatasan pilihan, kehilangan karakter lembaga publik, dan polarisasi masyarakat. Proses pencalonan Presiden dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh media, yang menjadi alat untuk menciptakan citra yang menguntungkan. Prediksi untuk Pemilu 2024 menyoroti peningkatan peran media digital, menekankan perlunya pengawasan ketat dan regulasi. Kesadaran kritis masyarakat terhadap informasi media menjadi kunci untuk mengatasi potensi ancaman terhadap integritas demokrasi, memastikan respons yang bijak dan kritis menjelang pemilihan.

Abstract

Bagian ini memuat ringkasan riset/ kajian yang terdiri dari latar belakang, tujuan penelitian, metode penelitian, hasil Dalam menghadapi situasi pandemi saat ini mengingat terjadi nya banyak penurunan dari segi performa perusahaan yang dialami hampir semua sektor industri serta berdampak kepada kondisi Citra Perusahaan. BNI Fatmawati menggunakan momentum ini sebagai landasan untuk menerapkan dan mengimplementasikan employee relations dalam keberlangsungan bisnisnya demi mencapai performa perusahaan yang lebih baik dan berkelanjutan serta dapat mempertahankan kondisi citra perusahaan yang telah dibangun selama ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) Implementasi employee relations BNI Fatmawati dalam mempertahankan citra positif organisasi.(2) Bentuk-bentuk program implementasi employee relations BNI Fatmawati.(3) Kondisi citra organisasi.(4) Kekuatan, Kelemahan, Peluang dan Hambatan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori employee relations menurut Ruslan. dan teori citra menurut Kotler&Keller. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan dan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan informan bagian Humas dan SDM. Untuk menguji keabsahan data, dilakukan uji triangulasi sumber. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu BNI Fatmawati melakukan implementasi employee relations melalui program-program seperti keterbukaan informasi manajemen, pendidikan dan pelatihan karyawan, penghargaan, special event, kemudian membentuk media komunikasi internal. Sehingga citra positif dapat dipertahankan dan implementasi employee relations ini mengalami beberapa peluang dan hambatan yang terjadi pada prosesnya.

Abstract

This research is based on the Public Relations Campaign Strategy carried out by Prepp Studio to maintain the Company's image. Competition in the world of local and international brand business is widespread, one of which is Prepp Studio which must be ready to face various challenges in the current market. Therefore, an appropriate and appropriate Public Relations campaign strategy is needed. This research aims to determine the Planning, Implementation and Evaluation used by Prepp Studio's Public Relations Campaign Strategy in maintaining the Company's Image. This research uses a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and literature study. This research uses the theory of Public Relations Strategy stages, namely Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this research are the planning carried out, namely finding the target market and market segmentation, preparing the team, and formulating ideas and targets. Implementation carried out, namely the implementation of what has been formulated, as in the Public Relations Campaign Strategy, preparing advertisements, collaborating with other brands, then create content and giveaways as well as social media updates. The evaluation carried out is monitoring analytical data from targets, as well as public responses, and also holding evaluations which are held once a week, to produce a better company image.

Abstract

To achieve the highest level of brand loyalty, namely top of mind among loyal traders, SR12 producers carry out marketing public relations. This research aims to measure the influence of marketing public relations on SR12 brand loyalty among SR12 traders in kel. Rawabuntu subdistrict. Serpong. This research uses marketing public relations theory from Kottler & Keller, 2016, and brand loyalty from Aaker, 2014. This research methodology uses a quantitative approach with a survey method with a questionnaire instrument. The sample taken was 53 respondents who were SR12 traders in kel. Rawabuntu subdistrict. Serpong. The data analysis technique is simple linear regression. Overall, this research shows that the influence of marketing public relations on brand loyalty can be seen from the conclusion that the average value on variable X (marketing public relations) is 2.60 and the average value on variable Y (brand loyalty) is 3.00. It is shown that the calculated t coefficient value is 4.852 > t table 1.675 with a significance value of 0.000 which is still below 0.1, so the hypothesis in this study is accepted. And the hypothesis test was carried out using the t test based on the coefficient of determination R square value of 31.6% while the remaining 68.4% was influenced by other factors and the limitations of the error instrument. This explains that there is an influence of marketing public relations on SR12 brand loyalty among SR12 traders in kel. Rawabuntu subdistrict. Serpong..
