Abstract

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic has been considered being over, yet it remains to leave global traces of reaction including in America. This study aims at investigating Anti-Asian Sentiments in Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS)’ Tweet and Press Release. Basing upon the curiosity of how the that particular sentiment spread in America and the reaction toward it from the perspective of the Asian. This study applies a qualitative method relying upon the data taken from an officially transcribed texts of short press the release video by Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS)’ in YouTube as display in the White House website and Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS)’ tweets posted to support Stop Asian Hate Movement. The analysis employs Huckin's Critical Discourse Analysis theory The results show that sentiment frames emerge in the forms of the violent attacks, discrimination, and the degradation of self-esteem. The existence of such sentiments has encouraged some reactions namely the awareness of Asian identity, the awareness of the rise of hate crimes, and the awareness of of supporting Stop Asian Hate movement. These findings implies that the BTS expressions language can act as an instrument of advocacy, power of negotiation, and expression of ideology. Thus, this study is significant for further studies on text analysis and rhetoric expressions, and cultural studies in general.

Abstract

Research Objective is to determinie the Effect of Bussiness Capital, Bussiness Location, Training and Product Promotion together on the Income of Micro and Small Bussinesses in Minahasa Regency. Theoretically,the Facto’s Affecting Income of Micro and Small Enterprises in Minahasa Regency.Small Micro (Producer’s or Seller’s,namely whether or not a Trader is able to Influence Buyer’s of Mechandise and Services (Consumer’s) or Buyer’s and get the Expected Result’s. Data used: Primary Data and Secondary Data.The Analysis  Tool used is Multiple Regression Analysis. Research Business Locations: there are 25 Minahasa Districts, where the Minahasa Regency Research Business Loactions have a Positive and Significat Effect On The Business Income of Micro-Small Business Actor’s in Minahasa Regency,so that it has the Effect of being able to increase the Income of Micro-Small Business actor’s in Minahasa Regency

Abstract

The objective of this study deals with revealing the component(s) of human capital which functions to establish social capital in the Kacang Tore small enterprises. This study involves peanut farmers and Kacang Tore business owner who are regarded as business doers of small enterprises. The research constitutes a qualitative study by applying triangulation technique of collecting data namely observation, interview, and documentation. The analysis of data follows Spradley’s Developmental Research Sequence. The findings point out that human capital defined as the economic value of human resources relating to ability, knowledge, ideas, innovation, energy, and commitment constitutes the power to establish a strong social capital. Human capital in the small enterprise can be identified in several forms namely 1) individual competence, 2) High work motivation, 3) value system of the work environment, 4) teamwork and 5) leadership in running the small enterprise. These components contribute to build and strengthen the required social capital in the small enterprise such as 1) strong relative network, 2) mutual trust and collaboration, 3) obedience to the norm, 4) mutual exchange of kindness, and 5) meaningful life value. Social capital derived from strong human capital constitutes powerful energy for the survival of the small enterprise amidst the tight competition in the era of industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This research aims to find a strategy formulation for strengthening women's social capital in small-scale industries. Given that the power of social capital has started to dissolve and weaken along with the current modernization, the design of a strategy should be a crucial capital in the continuation of small scale companies integrating women as pillars of the family economy. Therefore, a formulated strategy is needed to strengthen social capital in small scale industries. With a case study on the Kacang Tore small industry, this study used a qualitative research methodology. To gather data, a triangulation approach of observation, interviews, and documentation was used. The stepwise forward model developed by Spradley is used in this study's data analysis. Abstract

This research aims at revealing various practices of social capital values to strengthen rural small industry. The practices which emerge from the interaction among farmers, big vendor, tibo, roasted nut business owner and consumers lead to different forms of social capital values. This research uses qualitative research method which involves a study case. The data are analyzed using forward stepwise model from Spradley, which formulates the findings from the empirical research. The research findings reveal various social capital values embedded in local tradition of Minahasa known as Mapalus. It refers to a form of cooperation which grow and develop among the Minahasans. Mapalus includes various social activities as follows (1) Mendu impero’ongan, a community service performed by the villagers; (2) Berantang, providing help for the bereaved family; (3) Sumakey, celebrating certain occasions together. Mapalus also exists in economic and financial activities such as: (1) Ma’endo. It refers to communal activities to cultivate the field or to renovate houses; and (2) Pa’ando. It is a financial activity in a form social gathering known as ‘arisan’. This cultural value is an important social capital for rural society to support their economic activities and to strengthen the rural small industry.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing the income of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Minahasa Regency. Specifically, it examines whether business capital, business location, training, and product promotion impact the income of these enterprises. The research encompasses 25 districts in Minahasa Regency and employs primary and secondary data, analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The independent variables include Capital (X1), Business Location (X2), Training (X3), and Promotion (X4), while the dependent variable is the income of MSMEs (Y). The objective is to determine the combined effect of business capital, location, training, and promotion on the income of MSEs in Minahasa Regency. The research findings indicate that capital, business location, training, and promotion significantly impact the income of MSME actors in Minahasa Regency. An adjusted R-square value of 0.648 suggests that these variables account for 64.80% of the income variation, while the remaining 35.20% is affected by other factors not considered in this model. Consequently, improving these factors can effectively increase the income of MSME actors in Minahasa Regency.

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya menabung merupakan langkah strategis dalam membentuk kebiasaan keuangan yang sehat sejak usia dini. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran anak usia dini mengenai manfaat menabung serta cara-cara yang efektif dalam melakukannya. Pendekatan edukatif yang digunakan bersifat interaktif, meliputi penyuluhan, simulasi menabung, dan distribusi media informasi, yang bertujuan untuk mengajak peserta memahami bahwa menabung tidak hanya sebatas menyimpan uang, tetapi juga melibatkan pembentukan disiplin, kemandirian, dan perencanaan masa depan. Metode yang diterapkan dalam sosialisasi ini mencakup penyampaian materi serta studi kasus yang relevan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan minat peserta terhadap praktik menabung, yang menjadi indikator positif dalam mendorong terbentuknya kebiasaan finansial yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Kawasan Wisata Baru Rano Reindang, Desa Leilem, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran pengunjung mengenai pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Dengan metode pelaksanaan meliputih sosialisasi dan pemsangan papan informasi, serta penyediaan fasilitas pemilahan sampah di kawasan wisata. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan perubahan perilaku pengunjung, yang terlihat dari berkurangnya praktik membuang sampah sembarangan serta meningkatnya keterlibatan masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan. Program ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan wisata yang bersih, nyaman, dan berkelanjutan. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa kolaborasi antara pengelola wisata, masyarakat, dan pengunjung sangat penting untuk membentuk budaya kebersihan yang berkesinambungan, sehingga Desa Leilem berpotensi berkembang menjadi destinasi wisata yang ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Menurut Sebagai akibat dari pandemi COVID-19, pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Sulawesi Utara mengalami fluktuasi dari tahun 2019 hingga 2023, menurut data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) menyebabkan kontraksi ekonomi sebesar -0,99% pada tahun 2020. Selain itu, dalam hal pertanian pangan dan hortikultura, hubungan antara pertumbuhan ekonomi dan sektor ini saling memengaruhi, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh kontribusinya terhadap PDRB, penciptaan lapangan pekerjaan, dan struktur rantai pasokan ekonomi. Secara keseluruhan, sektor pertanian pangan dan hortikultura memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan bisnis. Tujuan penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Mengkaji Mengkaji Pengaruh Sektor Pertanian dan Hortikultura Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Sulawesi Utara; Mengkaji Pengaruh Sektor Hortikultura dan Pertanian Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Sulawesi Utara; dan Mengkaji Pengaruh Sektor Hortikultura dan Pertanian Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Sulawesi Utara secara bersamaan. Data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Sulut dari tahun 2019 hingga 2023 digunakan untuk penelitian kuantitatif ini. Dia mengumpulkan data melalui kepustakaan dan informasi. Sektor pertanian pangan (X1), sektor pertanian hortikultura (X2), dan pertumbuhan ekonomi (X3). Untuk data panel, analisis regresi digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengaruh tetap. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pertanian dan hortikultura memengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Sulawesi Utara secara parsial dan signifikan, serta secara bersamaan secara signifikan. Kata Kunci: Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Sektor Pertanian Pangan, Sektor Pertanian Hortikultura Abstrack: Following a -0.99% economic contraction in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, North Sulawesi Province's economic growth has varied from 2019 to 2023, according to data from the Central Agency of Statistics (BPS). Furthermore, as evidenced by its contribution to GDP, employment creation, and the composition of the economic supply chain, horticulture and food crop agriculture have a mutually reinforcing relationship with economic growth. All things considered, the horticultural and food crop agriculture industries contribute significantly to economic expansion. 1) To examine the impact of the food crop agriculture sector on North Sulawesi's economic growth is one of the study's goals. 2) To examine how North Sulawesi's economic growth is impacted by the horticultural agriculture sector. 3) To examine how North Sulawesi's economic growth is impacted by the concurrent horticultural and food crop agriculture sectors. The North Sulawesi Central Agency of Statistics (BPS) provided secondary data for this quantitative study between 2019 and 2023. Documentation and literature are the methods used to obtain data. Economic growth (X3), the horticulture agriculture sector (X2), and the food crop agricultural sector (X1). Panel data regression analysis is the analysis technique employed. The Fixed Effect Model is the model used in this investigation. The findings demonstrated that the horticultural and food agricultural industries both concurrently had a major impact on North Sulawesi Province's economic growth and that they both had a favorable and significant impact. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji bagaimana tingkat kemiskinan di berbagai kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara dipengaruhi oleh Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) antara tahun 2013 dan 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Metode pengukuran kuantitatif digunakan. Metode regresi data panel digunakan untuk mengevaluasi data dari 15 kabupaten/kota, termasuk PDRB, IPM, dan tingkat kemiskinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemiskinan secara signifikan dipengaruhi secara negatif oleh PDB. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemiskinan suatu daerah cenderung menurun ketika produk regional bruto (PDRB) meningkat. Tingkat kemiskinan dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) memiliki hubungan terbalik yang substansial, yang berarti bahwa peningkatan IPM dikaitkan dengan penurunan kemiskinan. Menurut temuan analisis, tingkat kemiskinan Sulawesi Utara menurun selama periode yang dianalisis sebagai akibat dari peningkatan PDRB dan IPM.
