Abstract

Human trafficking, especially female and children, is an act that is contrary to human dignity andviolation of human rights, so it must be eradicated. Female’s trafficking in North Sulawesi Province is still highuntil 2017. Specific target of this activity is firstly, the formation of a small group concerned with the prevention andhandling of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons in the City of Bitung, especially in the 8 selected villages in MaesaDistrict. First, making these communities as agents of change in the prevention of female and children trafficking.The result achieved, the formation of 8 community groups in 8 villages in the city of Bitung in accordance with theDecree of the Maesa District Chief. Second, the community formed becomes an agent of change with the main taskof preventing the trafficking of women as both the origin and as the recipient area, or the transit area for shippingactivities.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pemberdayaan karyawan, etos kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Pengendalian Dan Pembangkitan Minahasa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis regresi linier berganda. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan di PT. PLN (Persero) UPPP Minahasa yang berjumlah 46 orang, Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil dari analisis data menunjukkan pemberdayaan berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap komitmen organisasi, etos kerja berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap komitmen organisasi karyawan, dan pemberdayaan dan etos kerja secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadapkomitmen organisasi karyawan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh kompetensi kepemimpinan dan komitmen kerja terhadap kinerja organisasi pada PT. Pegadaian (PERSERO) Cabang Tomohon. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen penelitian, analisis regresi linear berganda dan uji hipotesis. Hasil dari analisis penelitian ini menunjukkan kompetensi karyawan dan komitmen kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja organisasi pada PT. Pegadaian (PERSERO) Cabang Tomohon.

Abstract

This research aims to find a strategy formulation for strengthening women's social capital in small-scale industries. Given that the power of social capital has started to dissolve and weaken along with the current modernization, the design of a strategy should be a crucial capital in the continuation of small scale companies integrating women as pillars of the family economy. Therefore, a formulated strategy is needed to strengthen social capital in small scale industries. With a case study on the Kacang Tore small industry, this study used a qualitative research methodology. To gather data, a triangulation approach of observation, interviews, and documentation was used. The stepwise forward model developed by Spradley is used in this study's data analysis. The results identifie various strategies to strengthen women's social capital in terms of trust, networks, reciprocity, values and norms. Keywords: Formulation, Small Scale Industries, Social Capital, Strategy, Strengthening, Women

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the readiness of human resources in the context of business development in the business of “Tibo-tibo” women fishermen in North Minahasa, Indonesia. Descriptive qualitative research methods were used to analysis valuable data and information. Data collected with observation, questionnaires and in-depth interviews technique. The results showed that human resources are very supportive of doing business development as seen from the experience business as a fish seller, productive age, and motivation to work and family support as a fisherwoman. The results of subsequent studies are human resources challenging to identify traditional work behaviour, shortterm work habit, lack of creativity on product and marketing innovation and also the habit on making loan in high interest. This research recommends human capital and social capital empowering to increase local potential.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of budget participation on managerial performance which is moderated by leadership style, obedience pressure and budget goal commitment. This research utilises the design of the influence among moderating variables. Data collection techniques utilised questionnaires which were circulated to leaders and civil servants who participated in budgeting for the 19 agencies /authorities and offices in Manado City totaling 173 respondents. Data were analyzed by Moderated Regression Analysis test. The findings of the study exhibited that the effect of budget participation on managerial performance becomes stronger through leadership styles, obedience pressure and budget goal commitment. Abstract

This paper aims to describe the conceptual model of informal business development applied to “Tibo-Tibo” fisherwomen in North Minahasa Regency. Data and information were obtained by observation and structured interviews to “Tibo-Tibo” fisherwomen, business partners and village governments. The data was analyzed qualitatively by using Miles Huberman perspective, through stages: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. After going through the validity of experts, this paper produced a conceptual model of informal business development based on intellectual capital namely human capital, social capital and organizational capital. This paper recommends that through the intellectual capital approach "Tibo-Tibo" fisher women's business can be improved through empowerment. Empowerment in the form of human capital will increase the added value products with the availability of a variety of products for frozen food businesses and products for culinary businesses. Empowerment in the form of social capital will strengthen the values of relationships with business partners, trust to customers and employees and strengthen the work culture "mapalus" (local wisdom for the community) such as cooperation and helping each other. Empowerment in the form of organizational will strengthening the management and organizational professionalism as well as the acknowledgment of business license and product brands by consumers.

Abstract

The quality of human resources in Indonesia is closely related to the quality of education, therefore higher education as one of the types of formal education plays an important role in realizing this.  Education and teaching in universities during the Covid-19 Pandemic became a challenge in itself because there were various problems that affected the performance of educational personnel. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of professional competence and motivation on the educational and teaching performance of educators at the Faculty of Economics, Manado State University (FEB UNIMA) during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of quantitative research takes data netted with a questionnaire of 40 educators who are willing to fill out the questionnaire. The results of this study show that there is a significant influence between the variables of professional ability and motivation on the educational and teaching performance of educators at FEB UNIMA during the pandemic. This study concludes that the improvement of research and teaching performance of educators is determined by professional ability and motivation. The results of this study recommend to educators to continue to improve professional abilities and work motivation so as to contribute more to improving their performance. Keywords: Professional Competence, Motivation, Educational and Teaching Performance, Educators, Covid 19 Pandemic

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership behavior and employee commitment to work performance of employees in Maleo Unit Multi Nabati Sulawesi Corporation. The company faces the challenge of how to improve the work performance of employees. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods. The data collection techniques using a questionnaire distributed to 94 employees who work in the company. This study consist of three variable Leadership behavior is measured by the ability to motivate, direct, communicate, decision-making, and responsibility. Employee commitment is measured by acceptance of organizational objectives, loyalty, compliance with organizational rules, work engagement, and acceptance of organizational values. Work performance is measured by cooperation, creativity, time utilization, quality of work, and quantity of work. The data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of the analysis are known that the value of 9.19 where is the value of F_test > F_tabel or 9,190 > 3,097, with a significant rate of 0.00 which means less than 0.05 or 0.00 < 0.05. This means there is a simultaneous influence between leadership behavior and work commitment to the work performance of employees in Maleo unit Multi Nabati Sulawesi Corporation.

Abstract

This paper intends to description of conceptual model of business development innovation which will be applied to fisherwomen’s Tibo-Tibo business in North Minahasa Regency. This study utilises descriptive-qualitative method. Data collections were used focus group discussions (FGD) and observation. Data were analysed qualitatively. The results of the study exhibit that the business development innovation model consist of three categories namely local potentials product innovation (fresh fish), digital marketing innovation and direct marketing, as well as organizational innovation into culinary businesses and frozen food.
