Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe holistically the role of extra-campus organizations, especially those at the Radin Intan Islamic State University in Lampung in suppressing radical understanding and fostering moderate Islamic values ​​in the academic environment. This paper is the result of research using a phenomenological approach, aimed at describing the situation or phenomenon that occurs. The method used is a qualitative method in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis. The conclusions of this research are as follows: (1) Understanding the concept of moderate Islamic values ​​that are non-violent (Rahmatan lil 'alamin) in tackling radical understanding at Raden Intan State Islamic University in Lampung using Tawasut, Tasamuh, Tawazun and I'tidal Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Munkar (2) Extra-campus student organizations have a very important role in counteracting radical understanding by socializing and implementing extra-campus student organizations activities that are based on moderate Islamic understanding and implementing the values ​​of Pancasila as the basis of state philosophy. 3) The impact of optimizing the implementation of moderate Islamic values ​​in the activities of extra-campus organizations is very high, this is obtained from the results of the questionnaire students' perceptions about the actualization of moderate Islam with a value of 91%. Tolerance is a characteristic of the Indonesian nation that must be developed in order to strengthen the value of fellow human beings and as an antidote to radical understanding.

Abstract

Abstrak:Fokus penenelitian ini tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SDN 2 Perumnas Waykandis Bandar Lampung . Tujuan diadakannya peneitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SDN 2 Perumnas Waykandis. Seperti sudah diketahui bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang dimiliki oleh setiap kepala sekolah ialah berbeda-beda. Tidak ada gaya yag dikatakan paling tepat untuk diterakan mengingat beragamnya karakter masing-masing kepala sekolah hingga berbedanya tingkat kematangan atau maturity tiap-tiap bawahan. Sehingga sangat diperlukan kemampuan kepala sekolah untuk dapat mengetahui karakter atau kematangan masing-masing bawahan serta untuk memahami situasi agar kepala sekolah dapat memilih gaya kepemimpinan seperti apa yang tepat untuk diterapkan.Penelitian ini digali berdasarkan rumusan masalah meliputi: Bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah SDN 2 Perumnas Waykandisterhadap tingkat kematangan teaga pendidik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research). Subjek dalam penellitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan tenaga pendidik, dan objek penelitian ini adalah gaya kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah SDN 2 Perumnas Waykandis Bandar Lampung. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepalasekolah SDN 2 Perumnas Waykandis dalam menghhadapi tingkat kematangan tenaga pendidik ialah menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan intruksional, untuk menghadapi tingkat kematangan kepala sekolah menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan konsultasi, untuk menghadapi tingkat kematangan kepala sekolah menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan partisipasi, dan untuk menghadapi pendidik tingkat kematangan kepala sekolah menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan delegasi. Semua gaya yang digunakan kepala sekolah dalam menghadapi tenaga pendidik mulai dari tingkat hingga sesuai dengan gaya kepemimpinan yang ada pada teori kepemimpinan situasional. Kepala sekolah juga menekankan pentinngnya pengawasan atau kontrol dalam menghadapi semua tingkat kematangan pendidik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses belajar belajar di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung yang menerapkan Metaphorical Thinking apakah memberi berdampak pada kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didk. Tidak hanya itu, peneliti juga memberikan soal kepada peserta didik untuk mengetahui hasil pre-survey sebelum dilakukannya treatment kepeda peserta didik. Peneliti juga mengadopsi Posttest Only Control Group Design yang akan diaopsi dalam proses belajar-mengajar di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kemampuan koneksi matematis antara peserta didik yang yang treatmenat dengan menggunakan pendekatan Metaphorical Thinking serta kelas yang tidak dilakukan treatment. Hasil analisis juga menunjukan bahwa signifikansi 0,042 kurang dari 0,05 hal tersebut merepresentasikan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis antara peserta didik yang menggunakan pendekatan Metaphorical Thinking lebih efektif. Sedangkan kemampuan peserta didik pada kelas kontrol menunjukan bahwa peserta didik tidak mengalami perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are actually a place to educate the character of students, but they are also inseparable from the existence of delinquency at their age. Delinquency cannot be left alone, but requires a special policy to overcome it. Al-Hidayah Keputran Islamic Boarding School has implemented policies in dealing with student delinquency, but there are still cases of delinquency committed by students. The purpose of this study is to reveal the forms, factors, and role of Islamic boarding schools in overcoming it. This research is qualitative in nature, where the primary data sources are the leaders of the Islamic boarding school, teachers and students, and the secondary data are books and documents. The data collection tool uses interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that in terms of dealing with student delinquency, several policies are always applied so that students can comply with Islamic boarding school regulations and policies are adjusted to the forms of delinquency that occur, most of which are delinquency that violates the applicable rules. The results of the efforts made by the al-Hidayah Keputran Islamic boarding school in dealing with student delinquency were 80% successful where this was shown by the deterrent effect and the nature of discipline and making students who violated better, this was due to the students' fear of the consequences of the violations committed.
