Abstract

The culture of queuing is one of the activities in the public space and is symbolic, which can become the community's social capital towards a multicultural community cohesiveness. The people of Dak Jaya village have practiced the queuing culture for several moments. This study aims to explain the creation of the Dak Jaya Binjai Hulu village community when they are in line. The second explains the formation of people's social attitudes through queuing activities. This study is a field study that involves informal data collection tools, data obtained from interviews, and participant and non-participant observations. The results showed that the social reality of queuing, which became the best opportunity and became a non- material resource, were (1) queuing at the time of distributing BLT funds at the village office, (1) queuing at the gas station, (3) queuing at the Posyandu, (4) queuing at the market traditional and (5) queuing at the tahfid Quran stall. The queuing culture carried out by the Dak Jaya village community has provided space for the village community to develop social attitudes. The social attitudes that are built from the queuing culture are (1) queuing to train people to control themselves and be patient in taking rights, (2) queuing to grow public awareness of respecting time, (3) queuing to open communication spaces openly (silaturahim), (4) queuing to give creativity for cooperation and social care. The culture of queuing has a universal symbolic meaning, encouraging egalitarian principles of life in various conditions. Communities with a consistent queuing culture have the opportunity to achieve collective prosperity

Abstract

AbstractThis study explains three things that are significant in the context of change. First, how is the change in community behavior as a result of the development of the oil palm plantation industry in the village of Dak Jaya, secondly why the people of the Dak Jaya village have changed their behavior in publishing Islamic education, third, what are the dimensions of the Islamic education development so that people have increased interest in Islamic education. The research approach is qualitative, data collection methods with interviews and direct observation, data validity techniques using triangulation of sources and extension of observation. Data were analysed from the beginning of data collection through an interactive process that is the collection, reduction, display, and verification or conclusion drawing. The results of the study explained that (1) changes in people’s attitudes as a result of economic changes opening up information openness present new values in people’s lives so that people change behavior into hedonists, pragmatics and individualists, (2) the impact of life towards hedonists, pragmatics and individualists in society make anxious about the future of the young generation so that it grows positive responses that make religious education as the construction of religious values and religious humanism, (3) madrassas and Islamic boarding schools are considered as the foremost oasis of the future because they can provide excellent service, develop creativity and provide ecological literacy for a healthy life.AbstrakPenelitian ini menjelaskan tiga hal yang signfikan dalam konteks perubahan. Pertama bagaimana perubahan perilaku masyarakat sebagai akibat dari perkembangan Industri perkebunan kelapa sawit di desa Dak Jaya, kedua mengapa masyarakat desa Dak Jaya berubah perilakunya dalammerepos pendidikan Agama Islam, ketiga, dimensi apa dari lembanga pendidikan Islam sehingga masyarakat meningkat minatnya terhadap pendidikan Islam. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan observasi langsung, teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan perpanjangan pengamatan. Data dianalisis sejak awal pengumpulan data melalui proses interaktif yakni pengumpulan, reduksi, display dan verifkasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa (1) perubahan sikap masyarakat akibat dari perubahan perekonomian membuka keterbukaan informas menghadirkan nilai-nila baru dalam kehidupan masyarakat sehingga mengubah perilaku masyarkat menjadi hedonis, pragmatis dan individualis, (2) dampak dari kehidupan kearah hedonis, pragmatis dan individualis pada masyarakat membuat rasa cemas terhadap masa depan generasi muda sehingga tumbuh respon positif yakni menjadikan pendidikan agama sebagai konstruksi nilai religiusitas dan humnisme religious, (3) madrasah dan pondok pesantren dinlai sebagai oasis menemuka masa depan karena mampu memberikan layanan prima, mengembangkan kreativitas dan memberikan literasi ekologis untuk hidup sehat. Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of a humanistic-religious approach that prioritizes the learning process rather than learning outcomes. While there are still many schools that do not understand the positive impact of this approach, so they still use the learning approach that focuses merely on students and learning outcomes. This study explains the humanistic-religious approach in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh) learning. This research employed a qualitative approach in which data were collected through observations, documentation, and interviews. It was conducted at MAN 3 Pontianak, Indonesia, where teachers and students were research participants. This study found that Fiqh learning model with a humanist-religious approach is characterized by three main activities. First, fiqh learning is supported by learning implementation plan (RPP) documents that arranged systematically, describing the behavior of teachers and students who are full of responsibility, open, democratic, dynamic, and religious. Second, humanist class management is done by auditing the class and providing a broad collaboration space. Third, humanist religious approaches are also carried out by building reciprocal educational interactions through sharing learning methods or strategies.

Abstract

This research is based on the learning process of Islamic Religious Education which tends to prioritize the students' abilities in the knowing aspect and the skill aspect (doing), while the most important aspect is the religious aspect which is put aside. So this paper seeks to examine the development of Islamic Religious Education material with a social reconstruction approach, as an offer to overcome the challenges of teachers in shaping students into individuals who always practice the Islamic Education material they have learned. The purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of the development of Islamic Religious Education materials with a social reconstruction approach. The form of research that is considered suitable is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach with the type of field research or field research. Sources of data in this study were 10 students of SMK Negeri 6 Pontianak and 1 PAI teacher. To collect the data, interview techniques and non-participant direct observation techniques were used. The results of the data analysis show that the contextual and social reconstruction-based learning of Islamic Religious Education is able to create an active and enjoyable learning situation, and produce religious students. Penelitian ini dilatabelakangi oleh proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang cenderung mengedepankan kemampuan siswa pada aspek pengetahuan (knowing) dan aspek keterampilan (doing), sementara aspek terpenting adalah aspek keberagamaan (being) dikesampingkan. Maka tulisan ini berusaha mengkaji pengembangan materi Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan pendekatan rekonstruksi sosial, sebagai tawaran untuk mengatasi tantangan guru dalam membentuk siswa menjadi pribadi yang senantiasa mengamalkan materi PAI yang telah mereka pelajari. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pengembangan materi Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan pendekatan rekonstruksi sosial. Bentuk penelitian yang dianggap cocok adalah studi deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan atau field research. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Negeri 6 Pontianak yang berjumlah 10 orang dan 1 orang guru PAI. Untuk mengumpulkan datanya digunakan teknik wawancara dan teknik observasi langsung non partisipan. Hasil analisis data memperlihatkan bahwa pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang kontekstual dan berbasis rekonstruksi sosial mampu menciptakan situasi belajar yang aktif dan menyenangkan, serta menghasilkan siswa yang religius.

Abstract

Kajian ini membahas tentang proses sosio-religi mahasiswa muslim kost dalam meraih prestasi akademik dan non akademik. Prestasi merupakan manifestasi dari suatu totalitas kepribadian unggul pada seseorang yang dilalui dengan proses adaptasi. Mahasiswa kost merupakan komunitas yang dinilai banyak mengalami tantangan berat dalam lingkungannya seperti membangun keberanian mengatasi masalah, menyiapkan perlengkapan hidup sendiri serta kontrol diri yang tinggi. Untuk itu perlu melakukan proses adaptasi agar tujuan meraih prestasi akademik dan non akademik tercapai. Fokus kajian ini adalah menganalisis proses adaptasi sosio-religi mahasiswa muslim yang kost dalam meraih prestasi akademik dan non akademik. Pendekatan dalam kajian ini adalah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa di beberapa perguruan Tinggi di kota Pontianak. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan molel Miles & Huberman yakni koleksi data, kondensasi data, display data dan verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pencapaian prestasi akademik dan non akademik mahasiswa muslim yang kost dilakukan melalui dua tindakan progresif. Pertama yaitu proses adaptasi sosio-religi yakni meningkatkan spiritualitas dengan ibadah dan internalisasi nilai-nilai ibadah sebagai kekuatan dalam menghadapi problem di lingkungan barunya. Kedua yaitu silaturahim dalam perspektif yang lebih luas yakni menjalin interaksi (komunikasi interpersonal dan komunal) yang dilandasi dengan sikap toleran, simpatik dan solidaritas yang tinggi sehingga mudah untuk mendapatkan modal sosial yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meraih prestasi.

Abstract

This article explains morality in the public sphere and its social impact on modern society. Public space becomes a free area so that social control is low when used. Through ethical understanding and awareness in the public sphere, human freedom in the perspective of humanism moves in line with the meaning that humans are created as a blessing for all nature. The method of this study is a literature review of the concept of morality in the public sphere and religious humanism as a perspective to find meaning. The results of this literature review are. First, the main morals in the public space which have implications for modern people's lives, such as occupying empty spaces in the taillight, opening road spaces, providing valid information and fixing road directions, not throwing garbage, not joking, and not making tents—street stage. Second, through the perspective of religious humanism, morality in the public sphere provides essential meanings in life, namely: saving lives, providing happiness, maintaining quality life, and humanist education.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Berbasis Pesantren dan Madrasah ini dilandasi oleh permasalahan input pendidikan dari usur pendidik yang belum maksimal dalam menjankan tugas sebagi guru profesional di madrasah. Beberrapa masalah ditemukan, pertama guru belum memahami konsep dan bentuk desain pembelajaran abad 21 secara jelas, karakteristik pembelajaran abad 21, dan bentuk penilaian berbasis HOTS, kedua guru masih banyak yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis karya ilmiah karena belum banyak pengetahuan dan pengalaman menulis, ketiga selama lima tahun terakhir guru tidak mendapatkan kesempatan mengikuti pelatihan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah melatih para guru madrasah di perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia kecamatan Sekayam dan Entikong dalam mendesain pembelajaran berorientasi pada keterampilan abad 21, dan penulisan karya ilmiah yang layak dipublikasi di jurnal. Dengan pelatihan ini diharapkan guru dapat meningkatkan mutu proses dan hasil belajar pada siswa. Melalui pelatihan karya tulis ilmiah guru dapat meningkatkan karir dan menjadi guru profesional yang mampu bersaing secara kompetitif. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) melalui lima tahapan yang terstruktur, yakni define, discovery, dream, design, dan delivery destiny. Luaran pengabdian ini adalah guru memiliki pengetahuan baru tentang desain pembelajaran abad 21, guru mampu menyusun rencana Praktik Pembelajaran secara benar, dan guru dapat menyusun soal HOTS. Selanjutnya luaran kegiatan tahap dua memberikan pengetahuan tentang penulisan karya ilmiah, mengetahui sistem sitasi menggunakan aplikasi mendeley, mampu melakukan submission artikel di jurnal online. Secara kualitas kegiatan telah memberikan layanan yang baik dan secara kuantitas seluruh rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian dinyatakan baik sekali atau puas oleh 25 peserta atau 100%. Temuan akhir bahwa masih banyak asset mitra pengabdian di pesantren dan madrasah perbatasan yang belum teraktualisasikan karena minimnya dukungan dari lembaga lain di kabupaten Sanggau.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the readiness of the 2013 Curriculum Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) at MIN 2, MTSN, and MAN Kubu Raya by Akidah Akhlak teachers using a qualitative descriptive research methodology. In conducting research, a qualitative descriptive approach is used to assess a particular problem that arises and explain it by utilizing information obtained from written or oral findings relating to the subject under study. The results showed that the faculty’s Akidah Akhlak teachers in compiling the 2013 Curriculum Implementation Plan (CIP) at MIN 2, MTSN, and MAN Kubu Raya were rated “very good” based on three stages of observation conducted by researchers. The accuracy of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) prepared by each teacher was shown by an average achievement score of 83. 33% The first observation resulted in a score of 86%, while the second and third assessments resulted in a score of 78% and 86%, respectively. However, the acquisition of abilities does not always develop without being influenced by various conditions. The above achievements are the result of two different components, including internal and external elements.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine learning outcomes and discuss the effect of the combination of memorization and small group discussion methods on students’ achievement and communication skills. A quantitative method was applied in this study with a quasi-experimental design. The subject of this study is 60 students in Islamic Education, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FTIK) at the Pontianak State Institute for Islamic Studies, divided into a control and an experimental group. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test from the control and experimental groups and then analyzed using the independent samples t-test using statistical software JASP version 0.16.4. The findings revealed that there are differences between outcome learning and communication skills between the control group which only uses the small group discussion method and the experimental group which employs a combination of memorization and small group discussion methods in the course of developing Islamic Education material. The findings of this study confirm that combining the two methods, memorization, and small group discussion, is highly effective in improving learning achievement and communication skills at the student level. Further research is suggested to explore and determine other factors affecting learning outcomes and methods.
