Abstract

This research aimed to see the phenomenon of the bia music of the Minahasa tribe that needed to be carefully observed in considering Bia Music then until now was shifting and changing due to the society’s lack of awareness towards Bia Music. This traditional music was very concerning due to the decreasing quantity and quality of the players. The objectives of this research were to analyze: (1) the traditional music heritage and preserving tradition across generations and (2) the educational process in traditional musical performances. The research applied a qualitative method with data collecting techniques by interview, observation, and literature review. Data validation technique based on credibility criteria, using data triangulation. Data analysis techniques consisted of collection, data presentation, data reduction, and data verification. The results of the study show that the younger generation realizes that bia music has become distinctive music that belongs to the community. This music has become part of the social life of the people in Batu village, North Minahasa, so that the educational process in society occurs naturally as a model of inheritance that occurs continuously in society.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia from elementary to college has experienced a change in the learning process caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, one of them is learning in the field of music, which was originally offline and later because of this pandemic learning was carried out online. The government's policy is to carry out all activities at home, in order to cut the chain of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, which is a tough test for music educators. These changes occur because of the community's efforts to adapt to new needs, conditions, and conditions that arise in line with the growth of society. Not finished with the issue of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, now people are faced with back with the issue of society 5.0, objects and all existing social orders integrated with the virtual world. The purpose of this research to determine continuity of music education during the Covid-19 pandemic in the era of the Society 5.0. The method used is literature review, namely using various sources of reference both from research results and from the thoughts of other authors. The results of this conceptual research are expected to provide local wisdom values because music is one of the important elements for society in facing a changing era.

Abstract

Pelayanan musik di gereja bukan sekadar keterampilan memainkan nada atau melantunkan lagu, melainkan panggilan untuk memuliakan Tuhan melalui sikap hati yang benar. Artikel ini membahas konsep pelayanan musik yang berlandaskan karakter Kristus, dengan fokus pada integritas, kerendahan hati, kesetiaan,Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus di gereja-gereja kemah injil Indonesia Makassar. Dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan yang berdampak bukan hanya mengandalkan kualitas teknis, tetapi juga keselarasan hati dengan firman Tuhan. Dengan demikian, menjadi pelayan yang “melayani dengan nada dan hati” berarti menghadirkan musik sebagai sarana penyembahan yang tulus, membangun iman jemaat, dan menjadi kesaksian hidup yang memuliakan Kristus

Abstract

Analisis secara mendalam mengenai bentuk sonata awal Mozart seperti piano sonata KV 279 movement II masih jarang dibahas, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bentuk musik dan progresi harmoni piano Sonata KV 279 movement II karya Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teori analisis bentuk musik dari Karl Edmund Prier, Bruce Benward, dan William E. Chaplin. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk sonata KV 279 movement II terdiri dari eksposisi sebanyak 28 birama, development sebanyak 14 birama, dan rekapitulasi sebanyak 32 birama. Keunikan dari karya ini adalah ciri binary form dengan kecenderungan rounded binary, tetapi dengan sentuhan ekspresif yang kaya, penggunaan ornamentasi yang tidak berlebihan khas Mozart, dan kesan harmoni yang lembut mengakibatkan warna suara yang dihasilkan menjadi terang tetapi hangat. Penelitian ini berimplikasi terhadap penguatan pemahaman tentang bentuk musik klasik dan dapat menjadi panduan bagi pengajar untuk menjelaskan mengenai struktur musik Sonata KV 279 movement II karya Mozart.
