Abstract

The increase in internet users encourages endorsers to market a product to shift to online media such as Youtube. The use of the online media Youtube by endorsers creates a unique attraction and can encourage consumers to make purchases. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that need to be considered by marketers in marketing their products so that they can achieve a high level of consumer purchase intention. This research uses a quantitative survey method by distributing 210 questionnaires to Youtube viewers who have seen Atta Halilintar and know AHHA fashion products. Testing using structural equation models (SEM) shows the factors influencing consumer purchase intentions. The results show attitude homophily has a significant effect on endorser credibility. Attitude homophily, social attractiveness, and self-disclosure significantly affect parasocial interaction. Relationship with endorser credibility also has a significant impact on purchase intention. Social relationships have a significant effect on parasocial interactions. Interaction has a significant effect on Atta Halilintar's audience's purchase intention. This study implies that the endorsers who have the personality, credibility, and parasocial interactions that the audience likes will influence their purchase intention.

Abstract

This study is exploratory in nature and tries to explain buying consumer behavior of environmental friendly product. Specifically, this study focuses on the antecedents and consequences of corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy and its impact on marketing outcome using qualitative method. Information on identification of consumer’s buying decision process of green marketing products, types of CSR, and marketing outcomes based on customer’s perspectives are gathered through in-depth interview. Nine propositions in relation to the antecedents and consequences of corporate social responsibility strategy from customer perspectives proposed from this study are: (1) consumer perception of CSR activity objectives influences consumer evaluation on CSR activity; (2) consumer evaluation on CSR activity influences consumer buying decision; (3) CSR activity influences customer value; (4) CSR activity creates consumer skepticism toward company; (5) product-related CSR activity which directly impact on consumer will increase consumer attitude toward product; (6) CSR activity influences consumer perception on company’s and product’s image and increase company as well as brand reputation; (7) consumer judgment on CSR activity influences consumer loyalty; (8) consumer characteristics strengthen the impact of CSR toward consumer buying decision; (9) consumer culture of collectivism influences their attitude toward CSR activity and buying decision of environmental friendly product. Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate that innovation capability as one of companies’ marketing capabilities has an important role in increasing shareholder value through superior market performance, i.e. the sales growth. Recently, there has been increasing number of researches conducted in investigating the link between marketing performance and stock market performance in Indonesia. These are very important especially for companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. In general, this study tries to develop, test, and find empirical support the relationship between innovation capabilities and shareholder value. The data used are secondary data from the financial statements of Unilever Company. Data were analyzed using mediation analysis suggested by Baron and Kenny (1986). The results of this study provide insight about the relationship between innovation capability and shareholder value. Managerial implications and suggestions for future research will then be delivered.

Abstract

Payment instruments are part of technological developments. The existence of this development is utilized by finance companies such as peer-to-peer lending technology. Peer-to-peer lending in Indonesia continues to increase, one of the products of peer-to-peer lending companies is SPayLater which is a product of Shopee Indonesia and PT. Lentera Dana. This study provides an overview of the effect of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived compatibility towards attitude toward using and perceived cost, subjective norm, personal innovativeness on intention to use. This study uses a quantitative method by distributing 250 online questionnaires to Shopee consumers. Data analysis was carried out using SEM and assisted by PLS 3 software. The results of this study indicate that perceived ease of use does not affect attitude toward using SPayLater payment system, perceived cost and personal innovativeness do not affect intention to use the SPayLater payment system, while perceived usefulness, perceived compatibility, attitude toward using and subjective norm affect the intention to use the SPayLater payment system.

Abstract

Background – The relationship between work and personal life has been the subject of research of interest to academics and practitioners at the moment. Job conditions, work patterns, and demands have been drivers of reform, changes in demographic composition, and labor market evolution. The number of working hours, methods of regulating working hours, as well as the availability of rest periods significantly affect the quality of work and workers' lives. The phenomenon of Great Resignation has also increased after the Covid-19 pandemic as an indication that the issue of work-life balance is the main discussion of social and labor market problems. Environmental adjustments and flexibility of working hours are considered capable of driving current business performance . Aim – The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of quality of work life and work-life balance on employee performance with job satisfaction as a moderation variable. Design/ Methodology/ Approach – This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods to obtain data from respondents. Findings – The results of this research show that the quality of work life and work-life balance have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. While the direct relationship between job satisfaction and job performance did not have a significant effect, so the role of mediating variables of job satisfaction did not occur. These results show that employees do not enjoy good job satisfaction, but the impact does not motivate employees to contribute more to their work. This is very bad because employees are not motivated to develop and maximize work performance. The results of this study are expected to provide input for companies to improve the quality of work life and work-life balance of employees so as to improve the work performance of employees. Its employees will therefore be compressed on the company’s overall productivity. Conclusion – Stakeholders must pay attention to quality of work life and work-life balance to maintain job satisfaction and ultimately promote sustainable employee performance. Research Implications – This research recommends developing a conceptual framework by adding stress, burnout, remuneration, and work from home factors in the digital age. Limitations of Research – This research is only limited to the point of view of the woman, not to include the point of view of the organization.

Abstract

Consumption of halal food is currently not only a concern of the Muslim community, but non-Muslim communities have also paid attention to halal products due to their high health orientation. Lard oil is one of the ingredients to improve the taste of food; however, besides being haram, lard contains quite a complex fat content, so all people with health problems cannot consume it. Various breakthroughs have been made by innovating new products, such as the development of artificial flavors that can produce taste characteristics similar to lard but are healthy and halal to consume. This article examines the factors that influence the interest in using food and beverage providers to replace lard with B2 replacer products based on halal awareness, halal food knowledge and perceived value with attitude as a mediating variable. By taking a sample of 372 MSMEs food and beverage providers in the DKI Jakarta area using a purposive sampling technique, this study found that perceived value is the most powerful factor influencing purchase intention, followed by the halal awareness factor. However, halal food knowledge was found to have no direct effect on purchase intention.

Abstract

WhatsApp adalah salah satu media soaial yang banyak sekali penggunanya di Indonesia. Adanya perubahan kebijakan tentang privacy WhatsApp menjadikan pelanggan mulai menggunakan aplikasi lain. Terkait dengan hal tersebut penelitian ini meneliti anteseden privacy concerns terhadap loyalitas. Anteseden tersebut adalah risk beliefs dan perceived benefits. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan survey. Variabel yang diteliti, yaitu Risk Beliefs, Perceived Benefits, Privacy Concerns dan Loyalty. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah pengguna WhatsApp Personal di Indonesia yang mengetahui tentang kebijakan privasi baru WhatsApp Personal dengan umur di atas 17 tahun. Penelitian ini dalam pengumpulan datanya memakai teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 200 orang sebagai respondennya. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) sebagai teknik analisis dan hipotesis yang menghasilkan diterima semuanya. Risk beliefs memengaruhi privacy concerns secara positif. Perceived benefits memengaruhi privacy concerns secara negatif. Privacy concerns berpengaruh negatif terhadap loyalty. Hasil dari penelitian ini penting bagi pengelola WhatsApp untuk menjaga privasi dari pelanggan agar pelanggan tetap menggunakan aplikasinya dan tidak berpindah ke aplikasi lain.

Abstract

Development impact pollution causes significant health problems and environmental pollution. Each country has different problem impacts depending on the massive position of the industry being run. This article observes that environmental pollution occurs a lot in the development of the latest industry and this is a bad issue for the sustainability of the global economy. This research is a qualitative research that uses in-depth interviews with several key research informants. Data interpretation was obtained from interviews that discussed the relationship between research themes, namely green human resource management. This research approach is descriptive-qualitative so that researchers collect data from interviews, observations and documentation which are then analyzed to form a natural conclusion of the study. The location of this research is PT Bahtera Utama Magnarindo (BUMI) in Surabaya City. The results of this study show that the marketing field of PT Bahtera Utama Magnarindo carries out directions from superiors directly based online, considering that the company's main field is the service sector so that it prioritizes online marketing. This online marketing concept is indirectly an application of green human resource management principles in the marketing field of an organization. Environmental integrity is maintained when the company's performance process takes place and maintains the ecological conditions of the environment around the company.

Abstract

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (PT Telkom) will carry out an organizational transformation known as the Five Bold Moves. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between employee motivation and workload on customer service satisfaction at PT Telkom Witel North Surabaya. This study employs a quantitative strategy of the explanatory kind. Multiple linear regression analysis is used here. According to the findings, intrinsic motivation significantly affects occupational fulfillment. In other words, employee happiness rises in tandem with the quality of the company's incentives. Workload also affects morale in the workplace. So, the more responsibility an employee is given, the happier they will be in their employment. Then, both intrinsic motivation and a heavy workload boost happiness on the job. That is to say, job satisfaction increases with both intrinsic desire and a reasonable amount of effort. Given the significance of the study's independent variables in explaining workers' levels of contentment on the job, it is hoped that the findings presented here will serve as a springboard for further investigation into these and related issues by researchers in the future.

Abstract

The importance of quality control and improvement for a product is crucial to ensure that a company can compete in the market. There are many ways to implement quality control, one of which is by applying the seven tools method, which involves analyzing using several quality control tools such as Pareto diagrams, Flow charts, Ishikawa diagrams, Histograms, Check Sheets, and Control Charts. PT. Geluran Adikarya, a manufacturing company specializing in the production of fuel, LPG, and ART tanks, consistently implements quality control by checking each department, particularly in the welding and painting departments. This control is carried out by the quality control division in each department. The company always ensures the quality of its products before they move on to the next department, so that by the end of the production process, the company has produced defect-free products ready for distribution to consumers.
