While the analysis uses the interpretation of cohesion with the verstehen method, which is an interpretation that is attempted to explain the observed sociological phenomena by the meaning given by the object being observed. The results showed that the concept of Islamic education which was implemented by Al-Mukmin Ngruki Sukoharjo, Central Java first, both adhered to the commitment of Islamic education to tafaqquh fi al-din in creating a generation of Islamic scholars 'amilin, Muslim individuals who are by the teachings of Allah. and practice these teachings in various aspects of their lives. Second, full-time education (full day school) an educational environment that is completely total, because all activities in the pesantren environment have educational values. Third, the concept of integrative education, with a dormitory system, allows the two pesantren to develop all the potential of students gradually towards the perfection of the integrity of the Muslim personality (al-insan al-kamil), both in the cognitive aspect, affective and psychomotor. Abstract

This study aims to optimize the acoustic condition of a pyramidal ceiling mosque utilizing a simulation approach. The simulation was done using I-Simpa, simulating the room acoustic parameters of 15 m x 15 m x 5 m and a 5 m roof height of a mosque. The optimization was accomplished by varying the occupancy level and using absorbent materials. The best acoustic condition was defined as having a high level of speech intelligibility (C-50 > -2 dB) yet the longest possible reverberation time, especially at 500-4000 Hz. The simulation indicates that the speech intelligibility value increases with the number of filled rows, both with and without sound-absorbing material. On the other hand, the reverberation time is unaffected by the number of filled rows and is extended by using sound-absorbing materials. Hence, without sound-absorbing ceiling material, optimal conditions are attained when the mosque is fully occupied. Meanwhile, using sound-absorbing materials on the mosque's ceiling establishes optimal acoustic conditions for all occupancy levels. It demonstrates that using sound-absorbing materials improves the acoustic quality of the pyramidal-ceiling mosque.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether cognitive, affective, and conative perception variables influence the interest of becoming customers of Islamic banks in Surakarta. The research employs quantitative methods, with a sample size of 100 respondents determined using the Slovin formula from a non-Muslim population of 122,130 inhabitants in Surakarta. Data analysis utilizes Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The findings indicate that, based on the statistical tests, the combined influence of cognitive, affective, and conative perception variables (simultaneously-Test F) positively affects the interest in becoming customers of Islamic banks. The t-test reveals that cognitive perception (X1), affective perception (X2), and conative perception (X3) individually have a positive influence on the interest in becoming customers of Islamic banks (Y), each with a significant level. The regression equation demonstrates that cognitive perception, affective perception, and conative perception variables collectively impact the interest in becoming customers of Islamic banks. Thus, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The most dominant variable among them is the conative perception variable.

Abstract

This study examines Tafsir al-Iklil fi Ma’ani al-Tanzil by Misbah Mustafa in the context of shaping Javanese Islamic identity. Previous research has often overlooked the specific relationship between Qur'anic interpretation and the local socio-cultural dynamics of Javanese society. To address this gap, this study analyzes how Tafsir al-Iklil serves as a bridge, integrating Islamic teachings with Javanese cultural traditions. Using a qualitative approach through literature review, the primary data is sourced from Tafsir al-Iklil, supported by secondary literature. The analysis involves data selection, reduction, and interpretation, employing historical and hermeneutical approaches. The findings reveal that Misbah Mustafa’s exegesis provides a unique perspective on the development of Javanese Islam, emphasizing its integrative nature, where religious teachings harmonize with Javanese cultural practices. Misbah highlights responsive spiritual leadership and social responsibility in religious rituals, suggesting that Javanese traditions hold spiritual values that align with Islamic teachings. This study contributes to the academic discourse by demonstrating how Qur'anic exegesis plays a pivotal role in merging religious doctrines with cultural traditions, broadening the understanding of Javanese Islamic identity through a textual lens. The integrative typology that emerges from this exegesis portrays Islam in Java as more than a formal religion—it is a comprehensive way of life, encompassing social, economic, and cultural dimensions.

Abstract

The study of the translation of Qur'an in Indonesian is intended to map the translation of Qur'an in Indonesian. Based on the literature review, we found some problematic Indonesian translation of Qur'an. Translation of the Qur'an as a holy book should not be mistaken. If this happens, then the function of Qur'an as a guide turns into a heresy. The translation must be done with precision and accuracy. This paper intends to examine the problematic translation of the Qur'an into Indonesian in terms of context, culture, and conditions surrounding it. Any criticism of the translation in this study is based on original documents using rational, objective and argumentative thought. After a critical analysis of several translations in Basmalah, al-Ikhlas and al-Ma'un, it finds that the translation of the Indonesian Qur'an does not fully follow the rules and procedures of translation. In general, the translation process is done literally, not contextually. On the other hand, the subjective thinking in translation seems more dominant than rational, objective and argumentative thinking.

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to identify the role of Islamic financial literacy and local wisdom in using Sharia banking products. The study employs a qualitative method through a systematic literature review, sourcing data from credible journals with national and international indexes. The collected data is analyzed using the VOSviewer tool, which systematically maps trends and bibliometric networks and visualizes overlay maps and research density levels. The findings indicate that Islamic financial literacy and local wisdom significantly influence financial decisions to use Sharia banking products wherever these banks operate. In addition, local values have fundamental values that are integrated with the operational principles of Sharia banking so that it becomes a meeting point between Sharia banking and local wisdom that is owned by the community so that people in choosing Sharia banking products as a financial decision are not only driven by values. Sharia is also greatly influenced by culture.

Abstract

Each era experiences significant changes in the field of Islamic education, necessitating the development of a well-structured curriculum grounded in strong philosophical foundations to ensure clear direction and purpose. Therefore, appropriate principles are required to develop the Islamic education curriculum. This study explains the contributions of several educational philosophical schools of thought and their implementation as a foundation for constructing an Islamic education curriculum. The study focuses on three educational philosophies: progressivism, constructivism, and humanism. The method employed is library research using a descriptive analytical approach, presented systematically and objectively. This study finds that integrating progressivism, constructivism, and humanism philosophies in developing Islamic education curricula can enrich pedagogical strategies while preserving core Islamic values. The progressivist approach promotes experiential learning and problem-solving, constructivism emphasizes knowledge construction through reflection and collaboration, while humanism nurtures learners' emotional, moral, and spiritual aspects. These philosophies create a dynamic, interactive, student-centered curriculum relevant to 21st-century needs.
