Abstract

The development of a civilization is never separated from the power of the nation in literacy tradition. Human being are given intellect, the mind to produce ideas for creating a form of writing works. Pesantren as institutions of Islamic education has a strategic position to apply the tradition of literacy among students. It needs to be an effort in designing a productive minds of the students. Based on this background, the mentoring program is to help students in literacy tradition Pondok Pesantren Al Mubarok Mranggen Demak. The service activities include literacy seminars, training and assignment to write a book-making students. Some institutions into collaborative partners include Center for the Study and Development of Islamic Sciences and Gisaf Central Java. Through community service program is expected to produce students who are able to document authors thought through writing. Perkembangan sebuah peradaban tidak pernah lepas dari kekuatan bangsa dalam literasi. Manusia diberikan akal, pikiran guna memproduksi gagasan agar menciptakan karya berbentuk tulisan. Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam memiliki posisi strategis untuk menerapkan tradisi literasi di kalangan santri. Perlu ada upaya dalam mendesain agar pikiran produktif para santri. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka pendampingan dilaksanakan untuk membangun tradisi literasi santri di Pondok Pesantren Al Mubarok Mranggen Demak. Adapun kegiatan pengabdian antara lain seminar literasi, pelatihan menulis dan penugasan pembuatan buku santri. beberapa lembaga menjadi mitra kerjasama antara lain Pusat Kajian dan Pengembangan Ilmu-ilmu Keislaman dan Gisaf Jawa Tengah. Melalui program pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan mampu menghasilkan santri penulis yang mampu mendokumentasikan pemikiran lewat tulisan.

Abstract

M. Amin Abdullah was born in Pati, Central Java, on  July 28, 1953.  The Academic Anxiety  was experienced by Amin Abdullah is a dichotomy between religion and science education, human behavior is not as it should, and the global crisis that hit in the current era . He took the theory of Muhammad Abid al-Jabri as knives analysis to explain the Islamic epistemology  about Bayani’s, Burhani’s, and 'Irfani’s epistemology. And give attention to the philosophical approach wich it had been initiated by Fazlur Rahman  in order to try to integrate between kalam and philosophy. He divided the scientific form of Islam into 3 models: Single Entity, Isolated Entity, and interconected Entity. The Three-dimensional scientific development intend to bring back the modern sciences with  Islamic sciences  (integrated-interconned). The third form was being the cornerstone to develop an integrated-interconnected approach in relation to the scientific development of academic.  This wide approach is essentially just wanted to show that among the various fields of science actually interconnected, as targeted by the entire scientific disciplines is the reality of the universe which  is the same, only the dimensions and the focus of attention is seen by each scientific disciplines are different. Abstract

Ta’lim Muta’alim is a classic book written by Syekh Al Zarnuzi on 593 H. As the writer of Ta'lim al-Muta'allim Thariq al-Ta'allum, he emphasizes the aspect of character values physical and spiritual. In this book, education is not only transfer of knowledge and skills, but the most important here is the transfer of character values. The purpose of writing this article is to examine the influence of Talim Muta’alim understanding to santri character development. The research methodology used in this research is based on quantitative approach with path analysis model that explores causality (causal effectual), which analyzes the relationship between Ta’lim Muta’alim understanding variable and santri character at Nurussalam Islamic Modern Boarding School Medangasem Jayakerta Karawang. The results showed that Ta’lim Muta’alim understanding positively and significantly 20,3% influence the santri’s character which suported all of member of boarding school, especially kyai, teachers and santri can run the teaching-learning process. Abstract

The issue of the Qur'an is indeed a topic that never dies in research studies, this is because the Qur'an has the role and function of “Shalihun li kulli zaman wa makan”. It also encourages researchers to always develop research in  the Qur'an. In contrast to previous researchers who focused on the study of interpretations and understandings of the Qur'anic text. In this study, researchers try to examine the phenomena that occur in society towards the understanding of the Qur'an. This research is also called the study of the living Qur'an with a focus on the tradition of memorizing the Qur’an among the Santri (Student).Keywords: Rote Tradition, Living Qur'an.

Abstract

Abstrac Human rights are basic rights that are inherent and universal in human beings. In Indonesia, human rights have been protected by the laws that originate and lead to “Pancasila” . No one can interfere with human rights or eliminate its. In this contemporary era, many practitioners and education thinkers, who analyze about Ta'zir (A punishment) applied to Islamic boarding schools, especially in Islamic boarding schools with typology of salafy. Some people argue that Ta'zir is a form of human rights violations, others say there are not. In this discussion the author tries to provide an analysis related to Ta'zir which is a punishment given to students who violate the rules in the Islamic Boarding School, Is it included in the category of human rights violations that must be eliminated. Or is it just a learning method that aims to provide a deterrent effect on students who break the rules. Keywords: Human Rights, Islamic Boarding School, Ta'zir. Abstrak HAM merupakan hak dasar yang kodratnya melekat pada diri manusia dan bersifat universal serta langgeng. HAM di Indonesia dilindungi oleh UU yang bersumber serta bermuara pada Pancasila. Tidak ada satupun manusia yang boleh mengganggu ataupun menghilangkan hak asasi manusia (HAM). Banyak Praktisi dan pemikir pendidikan dizaman kontemporer ini yang menganalisa tentang Ta’zir (Sebuah hukuman) yang di terapkan pada pondok pesantren terutama pada pesantren yang ber-tipologi salafy. Sebagian berpendapat bahwa ta’zir merupakan salah satu bentuk pelanggaran HAM, sebagian lain mengatakan tidak terdapat pelanggaran HAM. Pada pembahasan ini penulis mencoba untuk memberikan analisa terkait Ta’zir yaitu sebuah hukuman yang diberikan kepada santri yang melanggar aturan dalam Pesantren, apakah termasuk dalam kategori pelanggaran HAM sehingga harus dihapuskan. Ataukah memang hanya sebuah metode pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk memberikan efek jera pada santri pelanggar aturan. Kata Kunci: HAM, Pesantren, Ta’zir.

Abstract

This research aims to find out that during the reign of the Ottoman Empire there was inter-religious tolerance. There were even concrete contributions from Turkish Sultans respecting followers of other religions, providing protection for Christians and Jews who were hit by bloody conflicts. Several areas of the Turkish Sultanate allowed residents of different religious beliefs to live. Through the social structure that has been created by Muslim, Christian and Jewish citizens can live together in peace and tranquility. The research method is carried out by collecting information and data of various kinds of materials in the library such as reference books, results of similar previous research, articles, notes, and various journals related to the problem. The results are that the reality of religious tolerance and protection of non-Muslims during the Ottoman era was implemented well, especially since there was the al-Qanun law which generally regulated the legal system for its territory with an emphasis on the benefit of the ummah. There is also a Millet System that specifically regulates Muslims and non-Muslims living peacefully. The fact that the conquest of Constantinople did not destroy places of worship, nor did it force the conquered people to convert to Islam.

Abstract

The topic of pluralism-multiculturalism is increasingly being discussed and socialized considering that Indonesia is a plural and multi-cultural nation, Often this situation makes society often divided. Inevitably often cause riots, hostility and war. One of the initiators of Pluralism in Indonesia is Ulil Abshar Abdalla, he is often mentioned as the successor of Cak Nur (Nurcholis Madjid). Ulil also established a network called the  Jaringan Islam Liberal (JIL) to channel and spread his ideas about liberalism. This research is a library research with a character study approach combined with hermeneutic. Liberal Islam Network (JIL) was established in Jakarta on August 21, 2001 using intellectual networks located in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Makassar, Bandung and several other cities. The vision promoted by JIL is to present a more responsive and progressive theology with the key to freedom and liberation.

Abstract

Students with special needs in inclusive education settings, including Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), often face significant challenges related to low self-efficacy and limited independence. These difficulties are frequently rooted in feelings of alienation, low self-confidence, social withdrawal, and experiences of bullying. Peer support plays a vital role in fostering both self-efficacy and independence among these students. This study investigates how peer support contributes to the development of these attributes in inclusive Islamic boarding schools. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed thematically using Quirkos software. The findings indicate that emotional, instrumental, and informational support from peers—especially when accompanied by unconditional positive regard and emotional availability—significantly enhances students’ self-efficacy and independence. The integration of Islamic values and the cultural context of pesantren nurtures a peer environment rooted in the philosophy of “humanizing humans”, which promotes inclusivity and challenges hierarchical perceptions of disability. This study provides valuable insights for inclusive education practitioners aiming to foster supportive peer relationships and inclusive school cultures.

Abstract

In the increasingly advanced digital era, the use of information technology-based learning media is very relevant and important. Given the gap between students' needs for interactive and innovative learning media and teaching methods that still tend to be conventional in Islamic Education (PAI) subjects. This study aims to examine the feasibility of developing Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning media based on the website "FIKISMART" in the context of Fiqh Mawaris learning at the Junior High School (SMP) level. Therefore, this study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method to explore the needs of students and teachers in Fiqh Mawaris learning. Through qualitative data collection (Needs analysis and feasibility for teachers) and quantitative (Needs analysis, Validity (Material and Media Experts) and feasibility for students). The results of the study at the needs analysis stage showed that 54% of students answered "agree" which showed that website-based learning media was feasible to be developed. Furthermore, the researcher compiled a prototype of interactive and informative learning media. The results of the validity test showed that the "FIKISMART" learning media was proven valid with a score of 91% by material experts and 93% by media experts. From the feasibility test, "FIKISMART" has significant potential to be developed and used, especially to improve students' understanding of Fiqh Mawaris material. By considering the aspects of usability, relevant content, and high interactivity, this media is expected to provide a more enjoyable and effective learning experience.
