Abstract

The main problem of this research is the weakness of Pesantren education funding uncertain sources of financing and standards, non-transparent financial management, and weak supervision. Waqf is one of the Islamic Shari'a which has high economic potential. there is still a gap between the potential and reality the presence of waqf has not been felt as economic benefits for mostly today's Islamic communities, including Pesantren. The conceptual framework of this research uses the concept of Elchanan Cohn, 1979; Thomas Jones, 1985; Nanang Fattah. 2012; Dedi Supriadi, 2010; Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf; Government Regulation Number 18 of 2019 concerning Pesantren; Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 82 of 2021 concerning Funding for the Implementation of Pesantren; and Government Regulation No. 19 of 2007 concerning National Education Standards (SNP) The synthesis of expert opinions, laws, and government regulations, that the costs in education include direct costs and indirect costs with three financing criteria, namely investment, operational, and personal financing.The results of this study indicate that: First, waqf-based pesantren education financing is used for investment financing aspects, while operational and personal financing still needs to be developed. Second, the implementation of the waqf-based pesantren education financing program is still founded to be influencing factors, both supporting and inhibiting factors. Third, the financing of waqf-based pesantren education has an good impact on the quality of pesantren education.

Abstract

MTsN 01 Kota Gorontalo and MTsN 01 Bone Bolango are educational institutions that focus on character development and have programs that can shape the character of their students. The results showed that: First, interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect on the quality of character education at MTsN 01 Kota Gorontalo and MTsN 01 Bone Bolango. Second, Teacher Pedagogic Competence has a positive and significant effect on the Quality of Character Education at MTsN 01 Kota Gorontalo and MTsN 01 Bone Bolango. Third, interpersonal communication and teacher pedagogic competence together have a positive and significant effect on the quality of character education at MTsN 01 Kota Gorontalo and MTsN 01 Bone Bolango. Fourth, Interpersonal Communication has a positive and significant effect on Student Learning Achievement. Fifth, Teacher Pedagogic Competence has a positive and significant effect on Learning Achievement at MTsN 01 Kota Gorontalo and MTsN 01 Bone. Sixth, interpersonal communication and teacher pedagogical competence together have a positive and significant effect on learning achievement at MTsN 01 Kota Gorontalo and MTsN 01 Bone Bolango.

Abstract

The curriculum is one of the important tools that determine the success of achieving educational goals in schools. The achievement of educational goals implemented in the application of the right curriculum depends on good curriculum management. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of curriculum management at SMPIT Assyifa Boarding School Wanareja Subang in an effort to achieve institutional goals. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The Educational Objective of SMPIT Assyifa Boarding School Wanareja Subang is "Creating a Generation of Rabbani who are Pious, Smart and have Leader Character". 2) To achieve the educational goals set by the institution, the curriculum applied at SMPIT Assyifa Boarding School Wanareja Subang is the "Assyifa Curriculum" which is a combination of the MAPADI Curriculum, the National Curriculum and the Dormitory & JSIT Curriculum

Abstract

Building an academic culture is not an easy thing to do, it requires socialization and supervision of all ongoing academic activities, so that a habit is built among the academic community to obey and comply with the academic rules that have been set. The purpose of this study is the implementation of academic culture and scientific attitudes of students in order to improve the quality of higher education. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This research was conducted at the Indonesian Institute of Education (IPI) Garut and Garut University (UNIGA) as the research locus. By using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The stages of data analysis were carried out by reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the academic culture of students at IPI Garut includes a culture of literacy, research, seminars and publications. Then the scientific attitude of IPI Garut students can be seen from classroom discussions. The academic culture of students on the UNIGA campus includes seminars, workshops, publications, etc. The scientific attitude of UNIGA students includes critical thinking, curiosity, discussion, writing and other activities. However, all of these things have not been fully implemented properly.
