Abstract

Peran galangan kapal nasional sangat penting di dalam menunjang perekonomian nasional,khususnya di sektor transportasi laut, baik untuk pengadaan armada kapal nasional maupun sebagaisarana perawatan. Kemampuan galangan nasional baru mampu melayani 50% pekerjaan reparasidan 30% pekerjaan pembuatan kapal baru dari potensi pekerjaan yang ada. penelitian inimenggambarkan pangsa pasar (market share) dari 15 galangan kapal di pulau Batam dengan caramembandingkan jumlah potensi pasar galangan internasional dan nasional dengan hasil pekerjaanpermintaan reparasi dan bangunan baru galangan-galangan kapal di pulau Batam. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan, pangsa pasar galangan-galangan kapal di pulau Batam untuk kawasan nasionaladalah pekerjaan reparasi 0,31% dan pekerjaan bangunan baru 6,92%, kawasan internasionaladalah pekerjaan reparasi 0,0071% dan pekerjaan bangunan baru 0,0527%.

Abstract

Seven sub-districts in Jeneponto Regency are located in coastal areas and are producers of seaweed. Binamu District is the largest producer of seaweed in Jeneponto Regency (14% of total seaweed production). “Cahaya Laut” consists of ten members from a group of fishermen and seaweed farmers in Binamu District, (Pattontongan village). Small boats are the operational means of seaweed cultivation which often experience hull damage due to landings. These boats are generally made of wood or fiberglass. This activity aims to introduce fiberglass material components as reinforcement for the outer layer and function as a substitute for boat hull paint. This component can be a solution to the problem of fishermen/cultivators. The component is cobalt-aerosil or known as HDK (trade namely). This material serves to increase the viscosity and strength of the resin polymer as a fiberglass-forming matrix. The implementation of this service consists of two activities, namely: first, providing counseling and explanations related to the function, purpose, showing the form of Cobalt-Aerosil (HDK) and the theory of its use. Second, materials are implementing on the damaged boat hull as an exercise. From this activity, the participants seemed very enthusiastic and just understood that so far in the use of fiberglass material, they have never used HDK components. From the results of the repair of the boat's hull, it can be seen that they are happy because the hull layer has been colored as desired without needing to be painted and has a fairly high hardness. As a follow-up to this service activity, fishermen/cultivators will repair their boats by using HDK components together with resin and coloration as the hull lining.

Abstract

As the main material, wood is required in the process of wooden ships building. The required wood must be water resistant especially for the construction of the ship wooden plank as well as wood in intact form for use on the keel of the ship to support the ship frames. It is increasingly difficult to obtain the required wood for the keel construction need since the requirements for the integrity of the keel construction which must continue throughout the ship. This condition threatens the sustainability of the wooden ship construction process in Indonesia. Hence, material alternative is urgently required for wood substitution for the ship keel. A study has been conducted with a recommendation of a steel keel (dimensions and shape of the keel) as a substitute for a wooden keel for certain ship dimensions. Socialization of this new technology needs to be done to wooden ship craftsmen in South Sulawesi in particular. The partners chosen in this activity were the member of the wooden boat craftsman group "Torani" in Galesong Kota District, Takalar Regency. The aim is to introduce steel material as a substitute for wood material in the wooden ship keel construction to overcome the difficulty of obtaining wood for the ship keel construction. The result shows that the majority of participants claim to have new knowledge and believe that it is possible to apply the technology to wooden ship construction. However, since the manufacture and installation of steel keels on wooden ships uses steel materials, the application of this technology will take a relatively longer time.

Abstract

The fishing port combines fishing activities at sea and distribution activities to consumer areas. The fishing port must guarantee the needs of ships that dock and land and ensure that the landed catch remains of good quality. The Tanru Sampe Fishing Port in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi Province, is a type D Fish Landing Base (PPI) with a pier length of 45 m, a pool depth of around 0.5-4 m, an operating vessel capacity of 19-24 GT, and loading and unloading time of around 4 -5 hours. The condition of limited depth and long loading and unloading time causes the frequency of fishing to be less optimal. The research aims to analyze the port's performance using parameters based on the standards of the Director General of Capture Fisheries Number 20/KEP-DJPT/2015. The results of the study show that the performance of the port is generally of moderate value, with assessment parameters: 1) Administration and information of three variables, only one good variable, namely the availability of human resources, 2) Port facilities of six variables, only four variables have good value, namely the length of the pier, the depth of the pool, the completeness of marketing and distribution facilities, and the availability of portland. 3) Four out of nine variables for general services are good: mooring services, fishery production, frequency of ship visits, and ice distribution. n In investment and industry, there are three good variables: port land use and employment.

Abstract

Bajoe Port is a crossing port located in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi which connects South Sulawesi Province with Southeast Sulawesi Province and Eastern Indonesia. This port is located in Tanete District, East Riattang with an area of 48.88 km2. This port has a strategic role in connecting maritime trade or community movement in Eastern Indonesia. As an interprovincial crossing port. Bajoe Port needs to build and develop port facilities by considering priority needs and funding capabilities in accordance with laws and regulations. This study aims to evaluate the availability and condition of the main and supporting facilities of Bajoe Port and analyze the performance of Bajoe Port services to passengers and ships. The analysis method used uses the CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) method. This research was conducted by field survey to determine the availability and condition of basic and supporting facilities available at Bajoe Port. To measure the level of passenger satisfaction is carried out using interview methods and questionnaire measuring instruments distributed to respondents. Based on KM 52 of 2004, it is known that the availability and condition of basic and supporting facilities of Bajoe Port amounted to 63.63% of the available facilities. Based on PM 37 of 2015, it is known that the percentage of passenger satisfaction is above 80.55%. Keywords: Evaluation, Facilities, Services, CSI, Port

Abstract

Bajoe Port is a ferry port using Ro-Ro type ships that transport passengers, goods and vehicles from several districts/cities in South Sulawesi to Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The aim of this research is to predict the number of passengers and vehicles that will visit Bajoe Harbor until 2037 and determine the need for passenger terminals and parking lots that are currently available until 2037. The method used is regression to predict the flow of ships, passengers and vehicles as well as a formula for calculating the needs of passenger terminals and parking lots in determining capacity. The results of the research are predictions of the number of passengers and vehicles that will visit Bajoe Harbor until 2037 at 498,168 people and 76,038 units. The passenger terminal capacity until 2037 is 1,497 m² so that the current available passenger terminal capacity of 1,459 m2 is no longer sufficient until 2037 and additional passenger terminal capacity is needed. The parking capacity of vehicles that will cross and delivery/pick up vehicles until 2037 is 1,771 m² and 839 m2 so that the parking capacity of vehicles that will cross and delivery/pick up vehicles currently available is 8,980 m2 and 2,984 m2, which is still sufficient until 2037 and is not it is necessary to increase the parking capacity of vehicles that will be crossing and delivery/pick up vehicles.

Abstract

Salah satu pelabuhan di Indonesia adalah pelabuhan Semayang Balikpapan, Terhitung mulai 20 september 2017 kantor Syahbandar dan Otoritas Pelabuhan (KSOP) kelas 1 Semayang menerapkan sistem tunggal pengurusan dokumen pelayaran melalui Indonesia Port Integration System (Inaportnet). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kinerja pelaksanaan sistem Inaportnet di pelabuhan Semayang Balikpapan. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan survei lapangan dengan mewawancarai beberapa responden dari pihak administrator otoritas pelabuhan dan agen pelayaran. Data analisis menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis, yaitu Metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh tingkat kesesuaian antara kinerja layanan dengan harapan responden. Hasil penelitian menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis didapatkan nilai tingkat kesesuain (Tki) antara kinerja dengan apa yang diharapkan oleh pengguna administrator otoritas pelabuhan yaitu sangat baik dengan persentase 90% atau <100% dan agen pelayara yaitu sangat baik dengan persentase 95%  atau <100% . sehingga masih diperlukan adanya perhatian dan perbaikan sistem inaportnet, terdapat 4 atribut dimensi kinerja oleh pengguna administrator otoritas pelabuhan yaitu Integrasi data, Unit layanan sistem inaportnet, Monitoring dokumen, dan Training dan kemudian 3 atribut dimensi kinerja oleh pengguna agen pelayaran yaitu Kendala sistem inaportnet, Media layanan sistem inaportnet, dan Transparansi layanan sistem inaportnet. Dari hasil analisis tingkat kesesuain antara kinerja dengan apa yang diharapkan oleh pengguna administrator otoritas pelabuhan dan agen pelayaran masuk dalam kategori sangat baik.
