Abstract

The implementation of the school literacy movement must be implemented in all schools, both private and public, which aims to increase the creativity of students through literacy discipline habits. The purpose of this study was to find out how to implement the school literacy movement in instilling student discipline in the digital era at SMP Excellent 1 Tangerang and to find out the driving and inhibiting factors for implementing school literacy movement in instilling student discipline in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method of data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been carried out using interview techniques and documentation of school principals, class teachers, and students, it shows that the school has implemented the school literacy movement, although there are still some students who are not fully disciplined in implementing the school literacy movement, the principal and class teacher provide educational punishment for students who lack discipline in literacy and become habituation for students who have implemented the school literacy movement in a disciplined manner. The driving factor for this school literacy movement is the availability of a reading corner to make it easier for students to apply a disciplined attitude to reading. However, there are still obstacles in the implementation of the school movement in instilling a disciplined attitude of students in the digital era, namely the lack of facilities and infrastructure as well as a large number of reading sources. use textbooks.

Abstract

The implementation of human values in extracurricular scouting activities at SMKN 9 Tangerang City can be seen from the habituation of scout members in scouting activities, as well as their activity programmes. In the implementation of human values, the scouts are provided with materials and activities that contain human values in scouting. They are given an understanding and required to behave politely in accordance with the applicable rules to apply the 5S attitude and are given an intake of educational scout activity programmes as well as having extraordinary experiences in terms of humanity. Supporting factors for the implementation of human values can be seen from the support and role of trainers, coaches, and teachers at SMKN 9 Tangerang City. Scout coaches and trainers always accompany students in every scouting activity and also provide information about scouting. In addition, the school also provides the budget and facilities needed by the scouts to support the implementation of human values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Srikandi Tani 09 Women Farmers Group (KWT) in realizing the right to a healthy environment as part of the implementation of human rights at the community level in South Tangerang City. This study also identifies the supporting factors and barriers that influence the group’s environmental advocacy activities and examines its contribution to the realization of human rights-based sustainable development. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving five active members of the PKK organization who participate in KWT activities. The data were analyzed thematically to gain a comprehensive understanding of community-based environmental practices. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on integrating gender empowerment and ecological participation in realizing the constitutional right to a healthy environment, positioned within a human rights perspective. The findings indicate that KWT Srikandi Tani 09 plays an active role in raising environmental awareness, managing limited land for urban agriculture, and processing organic waste into useful materials. The success of these activities is supported by participatory leadership, community solidarity, and collaboration with local government agencies, while challenges arise from limited land, funding, and public environmental awareness. Conclusions from the study indicate that the group’s activities significantly contribute to realizing the right to a healthy environment and the empowerment of women as key actors in sustainable community development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran masyarakat Baduy luar dalam pelestarian nilai adat dan budaya di tengah modernisasi, Suku Baduy merupakan masyarakat adat yang berada di Kabupaten Lebak-Banten dan menjadi sebuah kebanggaan Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif-eksploratif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara dan observasi. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Kanekes, Kecamatan Leuwidamar, Lebak-Banten. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa modernisasi yang masuk kedalam suku Baduy telah berpengaruh pada bergesernya nilai-nilai kebudayaan, perubahan ini terlihat pada perilaku dalam menjalankan aktivitas keseharian masyarakat Baduy seperti mengenal teknologi, cara berpakaian, penggunaan peralatan makan, serta pola interaksi dengan wisatawan. Menyikapi hal tersebut masyarakat berupaya menjalankan perannya sebagai masyarakat adat untuk melestarikan nilai dan budaya adat. Lembaga adat juga berperan penting dalam mempertahankan adat dan budaya, seperti melakukan pemeriksaan secara periodik yang jika ditemukan pelanggaran akan diberikan sanksi adat. Rekomendasi penelitian ini yaitu adat dan budaya pada suku Baduy perlu dilestarikan Kembali sesuai dengan kebijakan pemerintah yang memberikan perlindungan hukum dalam menjaga kelestarian kearifan lokal yang ada di dalam Masyarakat Adat.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited research on the application of the andragogical approach in Civic Education at the higher education level, particularly regarding its contribution to strengthening students’ awareness and social participation. This research aims to describe the implementation of the andragogical approach and analyze its impact on students’ social participation at Universitas Pamulang. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, using observations, in-depth interviews, and open-ended questionnaires involving early-semester students and course lecturers. The findings reveal that the andragogical approach is implemented through the recognition of students’ prior experiences, critical discussions, problem-solving activities, case studies, community-based social projects, and reflective assessments conducted in the university library as an interactive dialogue space. These learning strategies were proven to enhance students’ abilities to express ideas, analyze social issues, and participate actively in both campus-based and community social activities. The study concludes that the andragogical approach effectively strengthens students’ critical awareness and social responsibility. The study recommends that the andragogical approach be used as a basis for developing learning strategies and designing curriculum policies that aim to improve students’ sustainable social participation across higher education institutions.
