Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menghantarkan permasalahan tidak hanya pada sektor kesehatan berdampak pula pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM). Pelaku UMKM memiliki keterbatasan ruang penjualan tatap muka sehingga perlu menggunakan pemasaran secara digital. Hal ini berlaku pula pada UMKM Emping Ngijon yang memproduksi emping namun belum memanfaatkan digital marketing dalam pemasarannya. Selama ini UMKM Emping Ngijon hanya melakukan pemasaran worth of mouth. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk menyelesaikan masalah pada UMKM Ngijon yakni memperbaiki system pemasaran berbasis digital, meningkatkan motivasi UMKM, dan memberikan pelatihan packaging yang lebih menarik untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Metode pelaksanaan pemberdayaan diawali dengan persiapan dan pembekalan termasuk didalamnya melakukan observasi, kemudian pelaksanaan program, menentukan keberlanjutan program, mengurai partisipasi mitra dalam pelaksanaan program, dan melakukan evaluasi. Hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan pemberdayaan UMKM Emping Ngijon menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan yakni 85% peningkatan pengetahuan UMKM Emping Ngijon tekait digital marketing. Peningkatan  85%, merasa puas dengan perubahan packaging, serta presentasi 80% terkait peningkatan motivasi dalam berwirausaha. Melalui Program Pengabdian ini memiliki novelty dan memberikan tambahan value kepada mitra Pengabdian serta pegiat UMKM untuk menyadari pentingnya penggunaan digital dalam pemasaran, pentingnya motivasi untuk menjaga stabilitas produksi dan packaging yang menarik untuk meningkatkan penjualan pada persaingan dagang di era pandemi COVID-19.

Abstract

Usaha Menengah dan Kecil Masyarakat (UMKM) banyak bermunculan di Indonesia, mulai yang ada di perkotaan sampai di pedesaan. Para pelaku usaha yang tergabung dalam UMKM ini sempat terpuruk usahanya semenjak adanya Covid 19. Masa 2 tahun lebih tidaklah sebentar karena usaha sempat vakum bahkan banyak konsumen yang meninggalkan usahanya. Dengan demikian permasalahan mitra yang sempat terpuruk karena kondisi COVID tersebut ingin dibangkitkan kembali melalui Program Pengembangan Desa Mitra (PPDM) yaitu melakukan pendampingan membuat branding UMKM Jadi tujuan dari PPDM adalah membantu para pelaku UMKM kembali semangat untuk menghidupkan usahanya. Adapun metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan membuat Instagram (IG) dan logo produk. Adapun sasaran dari program ini adalah para pelaku UMKM yang telah terpilih di Desa Ngijon, Kalurahan Sendangarum sebanyak 8 UMKM. Hasilnya para pelaku UMKM merasa sangat terbantu dalam upaya membangkitkan usahanya, karena metode tersebut bisa menjadi media promosi yang efektif untuk UMKM. Jadi kesimpulannya dengan program PPDM ini para pelaku bisa kembali eksis dalam dunia perdagangan dan memperluas pasarnya tidak hanya di seputar wilayahnya saja tetapi bisa merambah desa-desa lainnya. Selain itu dari hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian para pelaku UMKM juga merasa sangat terbantu dengan adanya pemberian barang hibah karena memang diperlukan dalam usahanya. Sebenarnya mereka memerlukan sejak lama tapi masih merasa berat untuk membeli sendiri. Juga diharapkan para pelaku usaha yang mengikuti pendampingan ini mau menularkan pengetahuannya dalam bidang digitalisasi dan media sosial kepada pelaku UMKM di desa tetangganya. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have sprung up in Indonesia, from urban to rural areas. The business actors who are members of MSMEs have had their businesses slump since the arrival of Covid 19. A period of more than two years was not a short time because the business had a vacuum period, and many consumers left. Thus, the problems of partners who had collapsed due to the COVID condition are expected to be revived through the Partner Village Development Program (Program Pengembangan Desa Mitra – PPDM), assisting in creating MSME branding. The method is to provide training and assistance in making Instagram (IG) and product logos. This program targets MSME actors selected in Ngijon Village and Sendangarum Village. As a result, MSME actors find it very helpful in their efforts to revive their business because this method can be an effective promotional medium for MSMEs. So, in conclusion, with the PPDM program, actors can return to the world of trade, expand their market around their area, and penetrate other villages. Apart from that, the activities carried out in the service aimed at SMCE actors have assisted them a lot by providing grants much needed in their business. They have needed it for quite a while but still find it tough to buy. Hopefully, business actors participating in this assistance will pass on their knowledge in digitization and social media to SMCE actors in neighboring villages.

Abstract

The Special Region of Yogyakarta (Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta/DIY) is one of Indonesia's domestic and even international tourist attractions. The tourism sector in DIY has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This paper examines the government's efforts to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic and post-pandemic in DIY. This paper is designed with a qualitative method. The research uses literature data in the form of library and journal articles. Content analysis is used for non-social media data, which aims to answer the question of How are the government's efforts to recover from Covid-19, which will be useful for the community tourism industry stakeholders in DIY. Research results have shown that the growth of tourists during the pandemic is negative. The tourism industry suffered heavy losses and laid off workers without pay. The recovery of the tourism sector is carried out in stages and will take a long time. Phase one starts in June 2020 and is expected to point to the new normal in 2022. The action plan covers the area of tourism information systems, health protocols, SMART Tourism and digital tourism. This study, however, has a potential drawback, i.e. the focus of the study in the tourism sector to recover from Covid-19 in DIY. This study has recommendations for future research, namely studying the emphasis on the sustainability of the tourism sector after the Covid-19 pandemic. Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) adalah salah satu tempat wisata domestik bahkan internasional yang ada di Indonesia. Sektor pariwisata di DIY terkena dampak yang ditimbulkan pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini mengkaji upaya pemerintah pada pemulihan pandemi serta pasca pandemi Covid-19 di DIY. Tujuan penelitian ini mengkaji terkait upaya pemerintah dalam menangani dampak Covid-19 sebagai bagian pemulihan pada sektor pariwisata di DIY. Tulisan ini dirancang dengan metode kualitatif, penelitian memakai data literatur berupa data pustaka serta data artikel jurnal yang memakai pendekatan analisis, yaitu teknik analisis isi bagi data non sosial media yang bertujuan untuk menjawab: Bagaimana upaya pemerintah pada pemulihan akibat Covid-19 yang nantinya berguna bagi para pelaku industri pariwisata pada DIY. Hasil penelitian telah memberikan bahwa pertumbuhan wisatawan selama pandemi ialah negatif. Industri pariwisata mendapat kerugian besar dan memberhentikan pekerja tanpa dibayar. Pemulihan sektor pariwisata dilakukan secara bertahap dan akan memakan waktu lama. Fase ke 1 mulai pada Juni pada tahun 2020, diperkirakan menunjuk ke era new normal pada tahun 2022. Rencana aksi mencakup sistem informasi pariwisata, protokol kesehatan, SMART Tourism dan pariwisata digital. Kajian ini memiliki kekurangan yaitu fokus kajian di sektor pariwisata dalam upaya pemulihan Covid-19 pada DIY. Kajian ini memiliki rekomendasi pada penelitian yang akan datang yaitu mempelajari penekanan keberlanjutan sektor wisata pasca pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the practice of the Sustainable Livelihood Tourism Framework (SLTF) in post-disaster management in the Mount Merapi area, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The focus of SLTF achievement in this study encompasses ecological, economic, sociocultural, and institutional dimensions. Research on the SLTF has indeed become a significant focus in tourism studies. However, most of these studies are confined to a single research methodology, resulting in limited scope and a lack of comprehensive discussion.  This study used a mixed-method approach with an explanatory sequential design. The study found that tourism positively impacts the increase of economic activities in the community. However, on the ecological side, tourism presence degrades environmental quality due to issues such as carbon emissions, industrial waste, climate change, the greenhouse effect, illegal logging, and illegal mining. Furthermore, other policies were identified, such as mineral water mining permits that degrade the environment and the establishment of landfill sites in the Kaliurang area, which spoils the natural beauty. Tourism practices also have a negative impact on institutional aspects, as the community perceives government policies as too complex and not meeting their expectations. Lastly, in the socio-cultural aspect, tourism preserves traditional values, as tourists tend to respect them. This mixed-method approach underscores the need for balanced strategies that address environmental concerns while maximizing economic benefits, improving institutional involvement, and supporting socio-cultural enhancement.

Abstract

This paper is going to examine the pro and contra among the Electoral Management Bodies’ (EMBs) commissioners and political parties’ functionaries in responding to the parliamentary threshold issue. Methodologically, this paper is based on qualitative research by utilizing a multiple case approach. It is supported by employing Qualitative Data Analysis Software (Q-DAS), namely NVivo 12Plus to analyse the data written in the transcript of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the EMBs’ commissioners and politicians in six provinces and nine cities/counties. The finding demonstrates that the all actors agree to adopt the parliamentary threshold in the national legislative election. Afterward, the mind map contains distinctive issues among EMBs and politicians. Thus, the parliamentary threshold is still required to strengthen the consolidation of Indonesian democracy. Such a threshold is also an essential standard to encourage well institutionalized parties and to modernize them. Thus, four percent of the parliamentary threshold is an ideal model. Subsequently, the increase of the parliamentary threshold percentage is no needed anymore. In addition to that, it is not applied in the regional legislative election.
