Abstract

Pain during labor is caused by the first stage of labor in which contractions cause dilation and thinning of the cervix and uterine ischemia due to contraction of the myometrial arteries. These contractions cause the opening of the cervix to begin labor. Various attempts are made to reduce labor pain, both pharmacologically and non-pharmacological. The non-pharmacological method applied is a distraction with birth balls. The research aims to prove the effectiveness of the use of birthing ball on the reduction of labor pain in the first stage of labor in the active phase. This study used an experimental research design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was 20 maternity mothers at the Lompoe Health Center, who received treatment and 20 people as control samples. It applied the purposive sampling technique. The instrument of observation was the pain scale using the Faces Pain Rating Scale. Data processing using the Wilcoxon-test to determine the effect of the treatment given. Based on the results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value is <0,001. In conclusion, there is an influence of using the birthing ball to reduce the level of pain in the first stage of labor in the active mother.

Abstract

Tonrong Village is one of the villages in the Baranti District,Sidenreng Rappang Regency, South Sulawesi Province. There are several duck/duck breeders and business groups of boiled salted eggs which are produced traditionally with not too large a production amount, due to limited marketing caused by the many similar industries, both in the same village and sub-district, even in almost every sub-district there are also people who production of boiled salted eggs. Inspired by the smoked salted eggs of Brebes, the team took the initiative to make a smoking furnace/tool ​​to produce Tonrong smoked salted eggs, through Community Service activities. The smoking process can be done on salted eggs that have been boiled or steamed, of course with different results. The smoking process is carried out in the following settings: steamed salted eggs, processed for 30 minutes of steaming at a temperature between 70-75oC for maximum results. The result is for steamed eggs, perfectly cooked eggs, especially seen from the appearance of the egg yolks, but contain water so it is a bit soft while for eggs treated with smoking, salted eggs have an attractive color, a distinctive smell and very little water content so that the shelf life is more durable. compared to salted eggs that are steamed or boiled.

Abstract

Carawali village is an agro-tourism village with wide stretches of rice fields. Seeing this potential, businesses need to optimize their land resources and produce high productivity. California papaya fruit (Carica papaya L) is one type of fruit that has a high selling value. The potential for California papaya is large enough to be developed to increase the amount of public consumption so that it will have an impact on economic growth in the area. Besides having a high selling value, California papaya also has many benefits. Processed papaya products need to be developed so that papaya farmers can also become processors of papaya products, so that their level of economic welfare increases. One of the processed papaya products that can be developed is unyil cake and jam. The research method includes counseling on California papaya business opportunities and training on making unyil cakes and papaya jam. This counseling and training provides a new understanding for the Carawali village community in developing businesses that can provide additional income

Abstract

Agricultural instructors in Panca Rijang District need to become facilitators, innovators, motivators, dynamists and educators if they want to increase rice production and farmers' abilities. This research aims to find out how the ability of rice farmers in Panca Rijang District is influenced by the role of agricultural instructors. The methodology of this research is quantitative descriptive. Primary data and secondary data are used. The Random SampIing SimplIe is used for the sample collection process, and the SIovin formula is used to determine the sample size. Questionnaires were used to interview 44 farmers in total. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Research findings show that the role of agricultural instructors as facilitators, innovators, motivators, dynamists and educators has a significant influence on developing the abilities of farmer group members in Panca Rijang District as evidenced by a significant value of 0.000 0.05 and a calculated F value of 13.486 F table 2 .46.

Abstract

Catfish processing in Sidrap Regency, especially in Makkoring Village, requires optimization for business development. The aim of this research is to analyze the canvas model business and provide business improvements in the Pokdakan Massiddie Fish Cultivation Group. The analytical method used in the research is descriptive qualitative, while the data analysis technique used is BMC (Business Model Canvas). The data used includes primary and secondary data. The research results show that the Pokdakan Massiddie Fish Cultivation Group's business model needs to be improved in the elements of customer relationships, channels, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partners and cost structure. For customer segments and value proposition elements, there is no need for improvement, it just needs to be maintained.
