Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of government functions in Timoreng Panua Village, Sidenreng Rappang Regency and to determine the function of government to improve the welfare of the people affected by COVID-19 in Timoreng Panua Village. The population of this study amounted to 146 people, while the research sample used a total random sampling of 73 people. Data collection techniques in this study used the techniques of Observation, Interview, Literature Study and Questionnaire. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The data were then analyzed using frequency and percentage tables. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of government functions in Timoreng Panua Village, Sidenreng Rappang Regency is considered quite good with an average percentage of 74.12%. The function of government to improve the welfare of the people affected by COVID-19 in Timoreng Panua Village is considered quite good with an average percentage result, which is 82.02%. The results of simple linear regression showed that there was a significant effect of variable X on government functions on variable Y, increasing people's welfare by 86%.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the creativity of housewives who are SME actors in developing fruit carving skills as a culinary product presentation innovation. The activity was carried out at The Culture Club Makassar using hands-on training methods, demonstrations, and mentoring. A total of 10 participants took part in training covering basic fruit carving techniques, direct practice in creating fruit carving works, and product development discussions. The results showed that participants were able to practice basic fruit carving techniques well, increase creativity in developing product variations, and gain new insights related to culinary business development based on artistic skills. This activity contributes to strengthening the capacity of SMEs to produce value-added products, while opening up opportunities for innovative business development.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi dan keterampilan ibu-ibu balita dalam memanfaatkan bahan pangan lokal menjadi menu sehat bergizi. Program dilaksanakan di Desa Aka-akae melalui pendampingan demo masak yang fokus pada inovasi olahan pangan lokal seperti nugget tahu dan sate lilit ayam . Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, mencakup edukasi gizi, praktik memasak, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta tentang gizi seimbang (80% meningkat) dan keterampilan mengolah pangan lokal menjadi menu sehat kekinian. Selain itu, produk hasil demo memiliki potensi dikembangkan menjadi peluang usaha rumah tangga, sehingga mendukung pencegahan stunting dan perbaikan gizi balita secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana atribut visual dari dekorasi artistik mempengaruhi daya tarik konsumen dan keputusan pembelian mereka. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu semua konsumen Donut Lylo Pinrang, adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan kuesioner,observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan dekorasi artistik pada produk Toko Bakery Donut Lylo Pinrang mampu meningkatkan persepsi dan minat beli konsumen secara signifikan. Rata-rata skor posttest sebesar 37,17 mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dibandingkan skor pretest sebesar 29,85 (p < 0,05). Meskipun peningkatan nilai N-Gain Score tergolong rendah (0,0625), data penjualan menunjukkan adanya kenaikan volume sebesar 24 pcs per hari atau total 360 pcs pada periode setelah penerapan dekorasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa dekorasi artistik berperan efektif dalam meningkatkan daya tarik produk dan berdampak positif terhadap penjualan penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa dekorasi artistik merupakan strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan daya tarik produk dan minat beli konsumen.

Abstract

The Android-based Fruit Carving application serves as a learning media for food decoration, providing an opportunity for students in the Culinary Arts Vocational Education Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang to interact with learning materials using smartphones. By applying the drill and practice method, the application allows students to practice fruit carving techniques repeatedly, which helps improve their skills through constant repetition. This learning approach not only refines their practical abilities but also fosters habits that lead to mastery. As students continue to practice, their competency in fruit carving as a food decoration skill increases, ultimately contributing to their overall professional development in the culinary arts. This study highlights the potential of integrating mobile technology into vocational education, offering a more accessible and flexible way to enhance students' skills and competence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of culinary products and its influence on improving family economy in the Al-Iman Uluale Islamic Boarding School environment, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The method used is quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The sample in this study was 38 families involved in culinary businesses in the Islamic boarding school environment.The results of the study showed that a marketing strategy that includes four main elements of product, price, place (distribution), and promotion (4P) has a significant effect on increasing sales. The simple linear regression test produced a coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.619, which indicates that the marketing strategy contributed 61.9% to improving family economy. This finding indicates that an effective marketing strategy can increase family income and welfare in the Islamic boarding school environment.This study emphasizes the importance of product innovation, competitive pricing, easily accessible distribution, and active promotion, including the use of social media, in expanding the market and supporting the economic independence of families based on Islamic boarding school communities.

Abstract

Carawali village is an agro-tourism village with wide stretches of rice fields. Seeing this potential, businesses need to optimize their land resources and produce high productivity. California papaya fruit (Carica papaya L) is one type of fruit that has a high selling value. The potential for California papaya is large enough to be developed to increase the amount of public consumption so that it will have an impact on economic growth in the area. Besides having a high selling value, California papaya also has many benefits. Processed papaya products need to be developed so that papaya farmers can also become processors of papaya products, so that their level of economic welfare increases. One of the processed papaya products that can be developed is unyil cake and jam. The research method includes counseling on California papaya business opportunities and training on making unyil cakes and papaya jam. This counseling and training provides a new understanding for the Carawali village community in developing businesses that can provide additional income

Abstract

Abstrak: Di tengah arus globalisasi, minat generasi muda terhadap seni tari tradisional Bugis di Kabupaten Soppeng mengalami penurunan. Sanggar seni sebagai pusat pelestarian budaya masih menghadapi keterbatasan fasilitas, manajemen, dan promosi. Kondisi ini menegaskan urgensi pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan yang terarah, partisipatif, dan berkelanjutan guna menjaga eksistensi seni tari Bugis sekaligus mendorong adaptasi melalui pengembangan tari tradisi dan kreasi yang relevan dengan perkembangan zaman. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan Sanggar Seni AIYRA (SANIRA) dalam melestarikan budaya Bugis melalui pelatihan seni tari tradisi dan kreasi di Kabupaten Soppeng, sehingga dapat meningkatkan keterampilan teknis seni tari tradisi dan kreasi, penguasaan gerak dan ekspresi tari Bugis, serta kemampuan pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk promosi budaya. Selain itu, program ini juga bertujuan mengembangkan kreativitas, kepercayaan diri, kemampuan manajerial, kerja sama tim, serta kesadaran dan kebanggaan terhadap identitas budaya lokal. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, workshop digitalisasi promosi budaya, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi yang melibatkan 15 anggota sanggar dan tim dosen serta mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang.. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui desain pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan tari, dan kemampuan digital mitra. Keberhasilan ditandai dengan meningkatnya skor pada ketiga aspek tersebut, terciptanya karya tari kreasi baru, serta kemampuan mitra mengelola media sosial dan website secara mandiri. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan soft skill dan hard skill peserta sekitar 80%, serta peningkatan nilai ekonomis dan kemampuan promosi budaya sanggar hingga 60%. Program ini berhasil memperkuat peran sanggar sebagai pusat pelestarian budaya Bugis yang berkelanjutan.Abstract: Amidst the current of globalization, the interest of the younger generation in traditional Bugis dance in Soppeng Regency has decreased. Art studios as centers for cultural preservation still face limitations in facilities, management, and promotion. This condition emphasizes the urgency of implementing a targeted, participatory, and sustainable empowerment program to maintain the existence of Bugis dance while encouraging adaptation through the development of traditional and creative dances that are relevant to current developments. This activity aims to empower the AIYRA Art Studio (SANIRA) in preserving Bugis culture through traditional and creative dance training in Soppeng Regency, so that they can improve technical skills in traditional and creative dance, mastery of Bugis dance movements and expressions, and the ability to utilize digital technology for cultural promotion. In addition, this program also aims to develop creativity, self-confidence, managerial skills, teamwork, as well as awareness and pride in local cultural identity. The implementation method included outreach, training, a digital cultural promotion workshop, and mentoring and evaluation involving 15 studio members and a team of lecturers and students from Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang University. Evaluation was conducted using a pre-test and post-test design to measure improvements in knowledge, dance skills, and digital capabilities of partners. Success was indicated by increased scores in these three aspects, the creation of new creative dance works, and the partners' ability to independently manage social media and websites. The results showed an increase in participants' soft and hard skills by approximately 80%, as well as an increase in the studio's economic value and cultural promotion capabilities by up to 60%. This program successfully strengthened the studio's role as a center for sustainable Bugis cultural preservation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the product differentiation strategy implemented by Nhanas Donuts Pinrang in facing culinary business competition in the millennial and Gen Z era. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants consisted of the owner, production and service employees, as well as millennial and Gen Z consumers. The results showed that the product differentiation strategy applied includes four main aspects: flavor innovation with contemporary variants (matcha cheese, red velvet crumble, cookies and cream), attractive and "instagrammable" visual display, aesthetic and modern packaging design, as well as active digital marketing through Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Supporting factors for the success of differentiation include the owner's creativity, understanding of young consumer behavior, strategic location, and digital branding. The implications of this study indicate that product differentiation integrated with digital marketing is able to increase competitiveness and customer loyalty of local culinary Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in the digital era.

Abstract

Aplikasi Fruit Carving berbasis Android berfungsi sebagai media pembelajaran dekorasi makanan, memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasional Seni Kuliner Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang untuk berinteraksi dengan materi pembelajaran melalui smartphone. Dengan penerapan metode drill and practice, aplikasi ini memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk berlatih teknik mengukir buah secara berulang-ulang, sehingga keterampilan mereka semakin terasah melalui latihan yang konsisten. Pendekatan pembelajaran ini tidak hanya memperbaiki kemampuan praktis mahasiswa, tetapi juga membentuk kebiasaan yang mengarah pada penguasaan keterampilan. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, kompetensi mahasiswa dalam mengukir buah sebagai dekorasi makanan meningkat, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi pada pengembangan profesional mereka di bidang seni kuliner. Penelitian ini menyoroti potensi integrasi teknologi mobile dalam pendidikan vokasional, memberikan cara yang lebih mudah diakses dan fleksibel untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kompetensi mahasiswa.
