Abstract

The research is aimed to apply the teaching and learning method by using studi case method. On MICE study program, one of the subjects given is the basic knowledge how to organizing convention. On the subject the students learn how to organize the convention professionally. The learning process make the students will be creative to organize one convention. The teaching and learning process use the Students Team Achievement Division (STAD) by distributing and deviding the classs or students in to small group 4-5 student in one group. It is the good method to apply on the class, because the result of research said that finally the application of case based method are able to increase the student's performance and achievement on the class. The most important thing, the lecture need to give serious attention to support the students and to give explanation what they have to do in solving the case

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan solusi bagi hotel dengan merancang strategi pemasaran hotel selama masa pandemi covid-19. Seperti yang kita ketahui, pandemi covid-19 melanda dunia usaha khususnya pada hunian hotel. Penurunan tajam penjualan kamar hotel di masa pandemi juga akan mengubah strategi hotel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Melakukan wawancara dengan manajemen hotel untuk mengetahui bagaimana hotel Kollektiv menyesuaikan strategi pemasarannya, sesuai dengan perubahan lingkungan yang terjadi selama pandemi covid-19, dan untuk mengetahui data review hotel dengan mengakses web hotel kolektiv. Hasil kajian menyebutkan hotel kolektiv selama pandemi tetap buka meski tingkat huniannya hanya 20%. Hotel Kollektiv memiliki keunggulan desain yang unik, hijau, instagrammable, clean room, dan memiliki outdoor dining room. Selain itu memiliki keramahan yang unggul dan meraih penghargaan kebersihan terbaik dari Traveloka pada tahun 2019. Kekurangannya, tidak memiliki Business Model dan tidak bersertifikat CHSE. Oleh karena itu, disarankan untuk menggunakan Model Bisnis Kanvas, serta menambahkan strategi untuk menarik karyawan yang bekerja dari rumah ke bekerja dari hotel untuk menggunakan hotel sebagai tempat yang nyaman untuk bekerja dan harus meluncurkan layanan baru yaitu kerja keras bermain keras program dengan mengemas paket kombinasi WFH dan wisata. Hal ini membutuhkan kerjasama dengan pemerintah daerah dan pengelola destinasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to map destinations in the field of Meeting, Incentive Travel, Conference, and Exhibition (MICE) in Depok City. As one of the cities directly adjacent to DKI Jakarta, Depok City can be an alternative for industry players in the MICE field. The diverse and scattered tourism potential in Depok City, especially the MICE industry, is able to develop even better. The research method used is qualitative to understand the phenomenon of MICE destinations in Depok City as a whole. The results of the research explain that Setu Tujuh Muara, training center building Kemendikbud, Balai Thirta Building, Depok City Square, Balai Rakyat, Studio Alam TVRI, Merpati Stadium, D'Kandang Amazing Farm, Setu 7 Muara, Pondok Zidane, Pine Forest, Wiladatika Recreational Park, Kampung 99, the Kubah Mas Mosque, F. Widiyanto Gallery, and Kabeda House can be MICE destinations. Meanwhile, like Taman Gurame and several setu scattered in Depok City, they have potential as MICE destinations. To develop MICE destinations, the Depok City government needs to cooperate in pentahelix.
