Abstract

Deciding study programme is crucial because any fault in making the decision will affect students’ learning motivation, length of study period which exceeds the standard, and the students’ failure. With a methodical selection of study programme, each student is expected to focus on his interest and capability more. Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) with Tsukamoto method can be applied to support the settlement. In the method, output is obtained with four stages, namely the formation of fuzzy sets, the establishment of rules, the application of implicated functions, and defuzzification. The purpose of this study is to apply FIS with Tsukamoto method to the decision of study programme which fits prospective students’ interest and capability. Moreover, the input variables involve Interview Scores, Scores of Informatics Engineering, Scores of Information Systems and Scores of Written Tests. Output variables are the students’ interest either in the Department of Informatics Engeenering or the Department of Information System

Abstract

Textbook or teaching manuals book have many kind of such material and content of the same though. The textbook on the market make the teachers confused in choosing an appropriate textbook, it make the teachers sometimes choose the wrong textbook and the suitability the content of the material it’s not in the same content. In the fact the content from a same book can be different. Textbook is one factor that can influence teachers to choose the book for refrency.By using fuzzy in this application, the recommendations value of teaching guidebook based on the results of the calculation in the settlement with the fuzzy and the discovery of the book can be recommended after the process of calculating the value of the matrix preference normalization and order exist on the object of research.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of Information Technology Governance (IT Governance). It is necessary to know the absolute value of a company based on maturity level, it is necessary to know how to improve maturity model level, and control the performance of Human Resources (HR). The purpose of this research is to give the achievement level of maturity level of Domain Planning and Organization (PO) and Acquire and Implement (AI) as well as to provide solution from each level of maturity based on Cobit 4.1 framework using governance application information technology using the Cobit 4.1 framework. This study does not address the domains of Deliver and Support and Monitor and Evaluate. This research uses a qualitative approach. The application created in this writing is desktop-based application. In the manufacturing process required initial design of the application that is presented through the interface design. By using this application, it is expected to assist the management in controlling the existing technology and human resources infrastructure and the management can evaluate the current organizational maturity level position (as-is) and the future expectation (to-be).
