Abstract

Cloud computing are distributed processing, parallel processing and the development of grid computing, the concept was jointly proposed by Google and IBM in 2007. Cloud computing refers to a network that distributes processing power, applications, and large systems among many computers. Social media channels and many other applications use cloud computing as their platform. Cloud computing, the aim is to hide the complexity of IT infrastructure management from its users. At the same time, cloud computing platforms provide massive scalability, 99.999% reliability, high performance, and specifiable configurability. These capabilities are provided at relatively low costs compared to dedicated infrastructures. Cloud computing is a complex infrastructure of software, hardware, processing, and storage that is available as a service. This paper discuss regarding the study of the basic concepts of cloud computing technology, core technology, several different types of clouds services, target dimensionand challenges  of cloud computing in current and future.

Abstract

Method of Rule-Based Reasoning is one of the methods in decision support systems that may have had knowledge base. In this method of solving problems based on an artificial intelligence approach using problem-solving techniques based on the rules contained in the knowledge base that can solve the problem sequentially. With the approach, some rules that have been produced can be re-examined by an expert to be able to be repaired or modified to obtain better results. In addition, this method is also used when needed explanation of traces (steps) in getting an achievement of a solution. Research done is to build a knowledge base representation system using Rule-Based Reasoning. Implementation of the system was built using a desktop-based application.

Abstract

The characteristics of solid waste in Bandar Lampung have not been identified yet. Then the management of solid waste is still looking for the best model and its policy. The contribution from women in the municipal solid waste management has not been adequate mainly due to its policy which has not been suitable for women. Therefore, the women have not had bargaining position in the environmental management. The research project will contribute to the household solid waste management, which directly involving mothers or women to have a role in the determining what products should be used in the daily business which environmentally friendly.

Abstract

Loss documents and the high cost of document storage space are a major problem often faced by many organizations at this company, especially for those who have large amounts of paper documents. Therefore, we need a proper solution with the help of information technology known as the Document Management System. With this system, the paper documents are converted in digital form and stored in a disk or other digital storage facility (paperless).Furthermore to the search, discovery, display, printing, distribution and even documents can be done virtually through computer networks. Security policy can also be applied strictly in the management of these documents, so the only party entitled to can access the document according to its designation. Protection against the document is done digitally, so that relatively more secure and easier to use.Document Management System based on Paperless are effective and useful in an office to streamline in the process of documentation. The main benefit is that users can find needed information quickly, so it can help the process become faster, better, cheaper, and reduce environmental impacts (Green Computing). In this system of administration are routine operations performed by each individual in an organization or office activities.Technology and administration without paper is the efficiency in the use of paper, especially in terms of paperwork and correspondence in order to achieve certain objectives in managing the administrative management system or the idea of a paperless office. This paper present a paperless model for the university management system. A survey has been conducted that enlisted some fundamental characteristics required to implement successful paperless environment.

Abstract

Bus merupakan moda transportasi yang paling dominan di Indonesia dibandingkan moda tranportasi lainnya. Karena sifatnya yang murah meriah membuat moda transportasi darat ini populer untuk bepergian jarak menengah sampai jauh. Namun sayang, sebaran calon penumpang yang tidak terpusat menjadikan driver sulit menemukan posisi calon penumpang karena kurangnya bahkan mungkin tidak tersediannya tempat pemberhentian khusus bus sehingga calon penumpang memilih menunggu bus disembarang tempat. Selain itu minimnya informasi lokasi keberadaan bus yang “on the way” dan waktu perkiraan kapan datangnya bus tersebut mengakibatkan penumpang harus menunggu lama dengan rasa was-was. Jika lengah maka bus akan berlalu dan harus menunggu kembali bus lainnya dengan tidak adanya informasi lokasi dan waktu kedatangan pastinya kapan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat memberikan informasi lokasi calon penumpang bagi driver, dan informasi lokasi dan perkiraan durasi waktu riil datangnya sebuah bus di lokasi menunggunya penumpang. Makalah ini penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan simulasi penerapan teknik GPS to GPS yaitu Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) untuk menemukan posisi calon penumpang dan Enchanced Observed Time Difference (EOTD) untuk menemukan posisi bus dan mengetahui perkiraan waktu.

Abstract

Ornamental plants are all forms of plants that have a beautiful value, high appeal to every enthusiast. In determining the choice of ornamental plants desired, the following criteria are needed, namely: type of plant, plant price, plant age, plant size, and full distance. Manual decision-making systems are less effective in assisting the process of selecting the desired ornamental plants, and in finding recommendations for their choices. In addition, it is a factor in decreasing income for business actors because of the Covid-19 epidemic. Therefore, we need a decision support system for the selection of ornamental plants. This system uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method which has the ability to solve problems by determining several criteria so that it can produce a ranking to get a choice of shop recommendations from each desired alternative.Abstrak - Tanaman hias adalah segala bentuk jenis tanaman yang memiliki nilai indah, daya tarik yang tinggi bagi setiap para peminatnya. Dalam menentukan pilihan tanaman hias yang diinginkan dibutuhkan kriteria sebagai berikut yaitu: jenis tanaman, harga tanaman, umur tanaman, ukuran tanaman, dan jarak tempuh. Sistem dalam pengambilan keputusan yang masih manual kurang efektif dalam membantu proses penentuan pilihan tanaman hias yang diinginkan, dan dalam menemukan rekomendasi atas pilihannya. Selain itu menjadi faktor menurunya pendapatan pelaku usaha karena pademi Covid-19. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu sistem pendukung keputusan untuk pemilihan tanaman hias. Sistem ini menggunakan pembobotan dengan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) yang memiliki kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan masalah dari penentuan beberapa kriteria sehingga dapat menghasilkan rangking untuk mendapatkan pilihan rekomendasi toko dari setiap alternatif yang diinginkan.

Abstract

Energi matahari adalah sumber energi terbarukan yang ketersediaannya tidak terbatas. Untuk mendapatkan energi listrik yang berasal dari matahari diperlukan panel surya sehingga energi dari matahari dapat berubah menjadi energi listrik, teknologi Solar, juga dikenal sebagai photovoltaik (pv) yang terbentuk dalam modul surya yang terbentuk dari bahan semikonduktor. Bahan semikonduktor mampu melakukan arus listrik ketika ada energi kinetik yang menggerakkan partikel elektron di dalamnya ke pita konduksi. Dalam hal ini sinar matahari mengandung gelombang elektromagnetik atau energi foton yang mampu menghasilkan energi kinetik untuk melepaskan ikatan elektron dalam semikonduktor yang menyebabkan arus listrik. Makalah ini menjelaskan mengenai implementasi dan penerapan rumah listrik berbasis solar cell.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang ada pada saat ini yaitu dapat melakukan pengolahan data dengan mudah dan menghasilkan informasi yang dibutuhkan dengan akurat dan mengefektifkan waktu, serta biaya yang dikeluarkan lebih efisien. Keunggulan inilah yang menjadikan teknologi informasi saat ini banyak berperan serta dalam segala bidang dan aspek kehidupan yang ada, dan berkembang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat.Di dalam permasalahan yang ada pada rumah makan kampoeng bamboe Bandar Lampung, peneliti mengambil sebuah gambaran dari sebuah permasalahan pada sistem booking tempat yang terjadi. Sebelumnya dalam sistem booking tempat di rumah makan kampoeng bamboe hanya dapat dilakukan secara manual yaitu pelanggan harus menelepon tempat makan ataupun datang langsung ke tempat makan untuk melakukan booking tempat ataupun sekedar mengetahui informasi tentang booking tempat, sehingga diperlukan aplikasi booking online yang tidak membuang banyak waktu, tenaga dan mempermudah customer pada saat ingin melakukan transaksi booking tempat pada rumah makan kampoeng bamboe. Perancangan sistem ini akan lebih mudah dikembangkan jika menggunakan pola desain berarsitektur model view controller (MVC). Arsitektur ini membagi aplikasi menjadi tiga bagian secara konsep yang terpisah yaitu model, view, dan controller, masing-masing dapat dikembangkan secara terpisah antara satu dengan yang lainnya, sehingga perubahan pada satu bagian memiliki dampak minimal pada bagian lain. Dengan melihat beberapa kekurangan dalam bidang booking tempat di atas, maka dari itu peneliti mencoba memberikan solusi dengan membuat aplikasi booking tempat online di rumah makan kampoeng bamboe berbasis web.

Abstract

This study aims to facilitate the organizers or staff or administrative staff to make an efficient and effective schedule. The benefit of this research is that it can improve the ease of scheduling and minimize problems for organizers in scheduling activities. This research method uses a Filing System which is an indicator of looking for letters based on the calendar, subject, letter number, and others when the letter is needed or needed. The data collection technique uses an approach technique or commonly called a qualitative technique, namely by means of observation to ensure that the company still performs scheduling activities manually. Then conducted interviews with the authorities in the correspondence section. The research location is at the Department of Culture and Sports of Bandar Lampung City. The result of this research is that if the organizer does the scheduling, it can save time, energy, and storage. because everything is done computerized.
